Found a gem of a place located in a quiet corner of the Belle Hall shopping center. They have patio seating and plenty of seating arrangements inside. It's very cozy, warm, and inviting. We sat at the bar to have a drink and some quick bites before going to a comedy show near by. They have a great selection of wines and food items to choose from. The owner, Josh, and his friends overseeing the wine bar are very welcoming and have a great sense of humor. Loads of regulars came in while we were there, and we felt right at home. I've been meaning to go to the wine bar for quite a while now, and finally got to go last night. What a great place, walk in only and it was a packed house. we were lucky to get a seat which was a high top, perfect for the three of us . We had some great wine by the glass as the three of us had three different tastes. All the glasses of wine were superb, and the selection by the bottle came from all over the globe. They also have a good selection of wine by the glass. We ordered three different appetizers to share, and every last one of them were delicious. Then we decided to make up our own charcuterie board did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious. The meats, the Pate just great. We finished off our evening by having some chocolate bark. One was pretzel and the other I think was nuts. Yummy. I just wish they had coffee to go with it but alas not here which is absolutely fine. Such a cute place!! We came here for a fun little girls night and it was perfect! We did have a Groupon for 3 meats and 3 cheese with chocolates, but the sever (she only works on wednesdays) was wonderful! She helped us make our meat and cheese decisions as well as our wine flight choices. She was SPOT on! So helpful and so kind. We will definitely be back here for girls night. The wine bar is more of a place to socialize, than it is a place to eat. The dim lighting, the comfortable seating, the nibbling of food all adds up as an amazing backdrop to great company. A chance to bond with loved ones. The menu consists of a large selection of wines, a list of meats, a list of cheese and a selection of chocolates. You are given a sheet of paper and pen to note down your order, and in about 15 minutes a tray of your selections is brought out, along with French bread, mustard, olive oil, honey, olives, pickles and a variety of berries. I loved everything about this place. My handsome, but hungry date devoured everything. We thoroughly enjoyed the fare that was remarkably filling. The service was exceptional with the lively young lady happy to help with selections. Parking was easy. Seating was comfortable and we were not rushed in any way. Good selection of wine and beer and the staff are helpful in offering help in ordering wine. The cheese and charcuterie are excellent. I recommend the 30 year buffalo Parmesan and 5-year Canadian cheddar for cheeses and spicy chorizo for meats. If you like escargot, they are meaty and very good. The Wine Bar has an extensive wine menu with what would appear to be a staff that understands it. The food menu is also really good. A cheese and charcuterie menu that is large enough to ensure everyone will be satisfied. During one visit, my wife and I even let the server put together a meat and cheese plate based on what we did not like and it was great. The biggest downfall for the wine bar is the overall service. When you are not at the bar the servers will almost forget about you. During my last visit, my wife and I had such slow service that the manager decided to comp us a glass of wine. It really is unfortunate for the outlying tables because when the servers are with you, they are really engaged. A couple high tops, bar area and even a couch seating area. Very nice date night atmosphere. Music was on point. Nice mix of classic rock. Selection of wine was good from what I was told by the people I was with. I chose the beer route since I am not a big wine guy. They had a good selection of beer as well. We went with 2 of the 3 and 3 meat and cheese plates, spinach and artichoke dip and the crack bread. Holy moly was it a lot of food. The cheese and meat came with some fruit, nuts, olives and honey. Everything we ate was delicious. Between the 2 players we had 6 different meats and cheeses and everyone one of them was good. My favorite was the liverwurst and smoke gouda. The owner of the bar was extremely rude. He made a scene at our table when we nicely asked to cancel our friends order because they were waiting 30 minutes for their charcuterie board. We received our charcuterie board first, even though we ordered our food at the same time, and patiently waited 30 minutes for their board. It was busy at the time and we understood so we kindly asked to cancel their board since we had almost finished our board and the owner rudely came to the table and made a scene. We used to love going to this bar and the server was extremely nice, but unfortunately with the service we received from the owner we wouldn't recommend going to this wine bar to anyone. Great place to sit and have a glass of wine after a movie. We sat right away in front of the window and although it took a few minutes to be greeted, they took great care of us once we were. It was Friday evening after all so the place was quite full. We decided on a few of their meats, cheeses and chocolates and ordered a glass of their house red and white wine, on special for happy hour till 7. The charcuterie platter came out with the perfect accompaniments of fruit, honey, nuts and bread. All the items we chose were great. I would highly suggest the chorizo meat and red dragon cheese. The lights are lower, the music is great, and it's super comfy. The man who helped us was the owner, we also met his son who works there as well. They couldn't have been more knowledgeable, attentive, and gracious. We got the 6 meat, 6 cheese, and 6 chocolates. My mouth is watering just writing this, it was the best I've had. Thoroughly enjoyed our ladies night out at the wine bar. We took advantage of a Groupon promotion for a tasting for four. We enjoyed 4 glasses of wine, 4 cheeses, 4 meats, and 4 chocolates. John was our bartender and very helpful during our visit. He was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and wines, and all his recommendations were on-point. No small feat considering our preferences ranged from moscato to bold cabs. I appreciated that we were all offered a small tasting portion of the wine before "committing" to a whole pour. Especially since there was one wine I tried (at my request) that didn't make the cut this evening! (Nothing wrong with the wine, just not what I was in the mood for). John was quick to notice that it wasn't a winning horse and quickly made other suggestions. They also offer half glasses so don't be afraid to ask :^) Our cheese and meat plate was presented very nicely by chef Chris, who served us and walked us through the plate. The 5 year Gouda was quite good, with all the "crunchies" you'd expect from a high quality cheese, and the Pinot Grigio hard salami was also exceptional. We didn't order off the small plates menu, but I would love to try the "slow cooked dr.pepper pulled pork sliders" on my next visit! Served on Hawaiian king sweet rolls with sweet and spicy pickles, it was truly an exercise in restraint to not order these (or 2 orders... Or 3...) Overall, we had a lovely experience at The Wine Bar and appreciated the exceptional service and I was very impressed with John's through knowledge of all the offerings.
