Out of all the Accent on Wine locations I have visited, this location is my favorite. It is a bit far from my home, but it is worth it. The staff is friendly and personable. The location has indoor and outdoor seating. It does not feel crowded or tight. They always have an amazing selection of craft beers along with a nice selection of beers on tap. Don't skip out on the ham and brie sammy if it's an option. It is SO good! Accent is a great place to go for a date or perfect for a girl's night. My favorite is the charcuterie boards. You can make your own with all the selections on the menu. I always try to get new things. The cheeses are always my fave.
I have been wanting to try this wine bar for a while. The staff was amazing! I like a certain type of wine so he let me try multiple tasters until we found the perfect one. I had a glass of wine at the bar and also was able to buy a bottle before leaving. They have live music and a great patio seating which is covered.

Incredible live music line up weekly. Homey decor inside, with outdoor seating. The sandwiches and baguette flatbreads are so incredibly delicious. The bread is insanely fresh. Hospitality is top tier! And don't forget dessert. Of course the selection of wine is pretty epic as well.
Looking for a place with a relaxing atmosphere, a great selection of wines, and a palate of edibles to tempt your senses, then look no further than Accent on Wine. Conveniently located in three locations: Summerville off Main Street, Park Circle, and this location in Whitehall off Dorchester Rd. They have indoor and outdoor seating and also a bar area. The employees are very pleasant and knowledgeable about their wines. They always give the history of each wine you're served and suggestions on pairings. I love their charcuterie boards with generous portions for such a reasonable cost. They offer a great selection of meats and cheeses that come with a large helping of bread, fruits and nuts, and other side items to compliment the taste. It is a great spot to "wine down" with friends and make new ones.
My daughter is obsessed with charcuterie boards which is why we chose this place. It's a cute small place where you order your food and drink from the bar. After that the attention from staff was superb. They have so many options of meats and cheese to chose from. The only thing we felt was missing was some preserves. It was so much more than we expected we had to take a lot. This is for the location in Hanahan which isn't mentioned
Great, laid-back wine bar. Menu wine selections are satisfying. Charcuterie Board meets, cheeses, and dips are always fresh and tasty. They have a "Nite Bites" menu with hot Flatbreads. My friend bought 2 of the Flatbreads and said they tasted very good. Everyone that works there is always very nice and attentive to all of the customers. They are very knowledgeable of the wines and pairings with food items. They have live music occasionally.
Love the vibe! Very mellow atmosphere to unwind & relax. All staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Great wine selection! Good food choices.
Delicious wines, boards, open faced sandwiches and friendly knowledgeable service while listening to the fountain bubble is a great way to catch up with friends or just unwind and take it all in.
All I can say is yes! We now finally have a decent place nearby to have some quality wine and beer! The first time I came in just to buy a couple of bottles for the holidays and I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I wasn't exactly sure what wine I wanted, so the owner (I think he was) helped me find some great wine according to my taste. The second time my husband and I stopped in for wine and a charcuterie plate. Amazing! We ordered the four item plate - excellent presentation and delicious. Again, all around a great experience. The staff really care about helping customers and making sure they have a pleasant experience.

If you have been to the other Accents, this one is comparable. It can be pricey, but I would consider this an upscale wine bar, so it's fair. You have to get the obligatory charcuterie board. All of the meats and cheeses are delicious. My one suggestion would be for them to update the charcuterie options more frequently. I like to try new things and would love to see some local options or like a "cheese/meat" of the week. I definitely recommend this place if you find yourself on Dorchester road.
Moving back to Charleston after 25 years or so means that while I'm a native, I'm also a "newbie aka noob" at the same time. However, to look at it in a positive light, I get to explore the area while somewhat knowing the "lay of the land," so to speak. Thus, when my uncle came up from Jacksonville and asked where we could go for a couple glasses of wine I had no clue, thus asking google. The place that I really liked was Accent on Wine. When I first pulled off Dorchester Rd, I thought I had bad directions b/c there wasn't much that set it apart - ie curb appeal from a distance. That all changed opening the door! Walking in the first thing you'll notice is the compact yet quaint wine selection. I love this type of atmosphere as appeals to my snobbish wine nature. The tables and floors are rustic, gleaming with multifunctional utilization that were obtained from an estate sale in the far country. The ceiling is a hybrid of open and closed exposure, being tastefully yet frugally composed. Decore is minimal yet tasteful yielding it's way to open white wall space. It's very tastefully thought out. Finally, as a lover of all things 80s, the music was spot on. Adam Ant, Depeche Mode and Flock of Seagulls really created an upbeat ambiance. I sat down then after watching other patrons I realized that ordering beverages and/or food meant you have to go to the bar offset on the right. No problem as I'm willing to engage in a new experience. Talking with the very nice bartender, it's set up this way to have the limited staff focus on important items like slinging suds or grapes and not inconvenienced with the complexities of life such as WALKING. I joke and I have no problem with the setup. Again, I want to reiterate the staff here are excellent; knowledgably in the menu and being able to engage in bar talk. If one were to consider Cheers as a reference point: the good attributes of Sam, Cliff and Norm mixed into two people. I literally just came from eating at La Minerva and while I would have loved to sample their menu I wasn't hungry. However, I did opt for a glass of wine. As stated before I love wines and more specifically red wines from either Bourdeau, Burgendy or Rhone and "son on a gun" they had a Cote-du-Rhone Villages 2022. To fill you guys in, I just moved from Austin TX and almost no where I went could you buy a French red wine by the glass, so pardon my elation! The wine was really good with a balance of black current, cherry and licorice while slowly melding on the tongue, rounding out the experience to a smooth landing. Not pretentious, not overpowering just a mellow experience while having enough tannis to poke you if you wanted to forget. Overall, I love this joint, my style of low-key, sophistication, supply of items I like and while there weren't many people there, the vibe was a mixture of life: whether it's sitting and relaxing or a more energetic affair. I have been to this location twice to enjoy live music and enjoy a relaxing evening. The bartender is always quite attentive which I really appreciate, the service is prompt. While they offer an assortment of wines as well as weekly wine tastings, my go to cocktail at this location is that Bellini, I enjoy the way they prepare it. They offer small bites/plates that are the perfect size to snack on and I found my flat bread to be really good. The parking at this location is literally right in the front of the building which is very convenient. I would return. read more

This place is amazingly modern and gorgeous! The patio, on site seating, and views are spectacular. This third location does not stray from the successful formula of the first location. Manager and Co-owner Scott is a gem! He is knowledgeable and affable. Sit at the bar and make new friends. You won't regret it! P.S. don't forget the lunch bites. read more

We LOVE this spot away from the city. Tuesday wine tastings are a weekly adventure with friends. They bring educated wine professionals to accurately describe what you're tasting with really fun stories behind the wineries. They also bring in great live music. I did wish they had more food options but the charcuterie is unmatched read more
