Incredible live music line up weekly. Homey decor inside, with outdoor seating. The sandwiches and baguette flatbreads are so incredibly delicious. The bread is insanely fresh. Hospitality is top tier! And don't forget dessert. Of course the selection of wine is pretty epic as well.

I have been wanting to try this wine bar for a while. The staff was amazing! I like a certain type of wine so he let me try multiple tasters until we found the perfect one. I had a glass of wine at the bar and also was able to buy a bottle before leaving. They have live music and a great patio seating which is covered.

FEB8,2024 This yelp posting has all the reviews and photos BUT the location to visit is **at the NETHERBY LANE location. Make sure to use the NETHERBY location for GPS. Accent on Wine (North Charleston) is a great place to visit. Tuesday Tastings-$14 (6-8pm). First Wednesday of every month , outside vendor sets up for tastings. So you know, all Accent on Wine locations share the same food menu, desserts may very. The WINE selection on side wall is determined by franchisee

Looking for a place with a relaxing atmosphere, a great selection of wines, and a palate of edibles to tempt your senses, then look no further than Accent on Wine. Conveniently located in three locations: Summerville off Main Street, Park Circle, and this location in Whitehall off Dorchester Rd. They have indoor and outdoor seating and also a bar area. The employees are very pleasant and knowledgeable about their wines. They always give the history of each wine you're served and suggestions on pairings. I love their charcuterie boards with generous portions for such a reasonable cost. They offer a great selection of meats and cheeses that come with a large helping of bread, fruits and nuts, and other side items to compliment the taste. It is a great spot to "wine down" with friends and make new ones.

My daughter is obsessed with charcuterie boards which is why we chose this place. It's a cute small place where you order your food and drink from the bar. After that the attention from staff was superb. They have so many options of meats and cheese to chose from. The only thing we felt was missing was some preserves. It was so much more than we expected we had to take a lot. This is for the location in Hanahan which isn't mentioned

Great, laid-back wine bar. Menu wine selections are satisfying. Charcuterie Board meets, cheeses, and dips are always fresh and tasty. They have a "Nite Bites" menu with hot Flatbreads. My friend bought 2 of the Flatbreads and said they tasted very good. Everyone that works there is always very nice and attentive to all of the customers. They are very knowledgeable of the wines and pairings with food items. They have live music occasionally.

Delicious wines, boards, open faced sandwiches and friendly knowledgeable service while listening to the fountain bubble is a great way to catch up with friends or just unwind and take it all in.

All I can say is yes! We now finally have a decent place nearby to have some quality wine and beer! The first time I came in just to buy a couple of bottles for the holidays and I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I wasn't exactly sure what wine I wanted, so the owner (I think he was) helped me find some great wine according to my taste. The second time my husband and I stopped in for wine and a charcuterie plate. Amazing! We ordered the four item plate - excellent presentation and delicious. Again, all around a great experience. The staff really care about helping customers and making sure they have a pleasant experience.

Very cute place with great wine selection. The staff here is very attentive and knowledgeable about the wines. They also offer small plates and charcuterie. They have wine tasting on Tuesdays at this location from 5-7p and there is usually a good turnout for it. Good place to visit. Will definitely return

I love it here. I love attending the Tuesday tastings. (such a great deal at $14 per person!) And I love all their charcuterie offerings with generous portions for the cost. It's a great little wine shop. All the employees are knowledgeable and super friendly.

Love having this new place in the North Charleston area! There is indoor and outdoor seating and they usually have small events going on throughout the week (live music, wine tastings, food trucks). If you have been to the other Accents, this one is comparable. It can be pricey, but I would consider this an upscale wine bar, so it's fair. You have to get the obligatory charcuterie board. All of the meats and cheeses are delicious. My one suggestion would be for them to update the charcuterie options more frequently. I like to try new things and would love to see some local options or like a "cheese/meat" of the week. I definitely recommend this place if you find yourself on Dorchester road.

This place is amazingly modern and gorgeous! The patio, on site seating, and views are spectacular. This third location does not stray from the successful formula of the first location. Manager and Co-owner Scott is a gem! He is knowledgeable and affable. Sit at the bar and make new friends. You won't regret it! P.S. don't forget the lunch bites.

We actually stumbled upon Luxe Bar & Bistro while planning to head downtown, but a bridge closure caused major traffic, so we decided to change plans and just find somewhere local to enjoy a holiday cocktail. After checking reviews online, Luxe Bar & Bistro stood out, so we decided to give it a try -- and we're so glad we did. They have a large outdoor space, but of course, it started to rain as soon as we arrived. Luckily, they also have a covered front patio with a few chairs, which worked out perfectly. We each ordered two cocktails. I started with Under the Mistletoe -- Tito's, house-made rosemary simple syrup, lemon juice, topped with soda ($10). This was hands down the most delicious holiday drink I've had so far this season. It was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and hit the spot. I also tried the seasonal special, a Pomegranate Cranberry Sangria ($10), which was equally good. My husband ordered the Tipsy Grinch-- Malibu rum, mango purée, blue curaçao, pineapple juice, and soda water ($9.50). He said it was sweet but not overly sweet and really enjoyed it. He also had the Dirty Snowman Martini with RumChata, Disaronno Amaretto, vanilla vodka, and a cinnamon sugar rim ($13). He substituted almond milk for the half-and-half, and it was still creamy and delicious. We also had a great conversation with Natalie and quickly realized we had a lot in common, especially when it comes to dogs and the importance of pet safety. I always love meeting a fellow dog mom who shares the same values. The service and ambiance were excellent, and the space was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We will 100% be back -- and next time, we definitely plan on trying the food.

The drinks are priced on the higher end, but the relaxed, comfortable atmosphere makes it feel approachable. We also love that they offer seasonal and holiday cocktails, which is right up our alley. We brought Luna along and sat on the patio, which was a nice option. I would love to see heaters added outside to make the patio more comfortable on cooler nights. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive throughout our visit. I ordered the Fireside Chat (served warm), made with Four Roses Bourbon, Croft Tawny Port, apple cider, orange juice, grenadine, turbinado sugar, allspice, and clove ($15). I really enjoyed the flavor profile--warm, well-balanced, and perfect for the season. That said, I was a little disappointed that my second drink wasn't garnished nearly as nicely as the first, especially given the price. Flavor-wise, though, both were very good. My husband started with the Gingersnap, which includes Monkey Shoulder blended Scotch whisky, Disaronno almond liqueur, butterscotch liqueur, spiced ginger syrup, heavy cream, Angostura bitters, cookie rim, and nutmeg ($16). He enjoyed it but felt it was definitely a one-drink cocktail due to how sweet, creamy, and heavy it was. He also ordered the Smoked Maple-Bacon Old Fashioned with bacon fat-washed bourbon, spiced maple syrup, tobacco bitters, and a salted brown sugar rim ($16). This one was a miss for him--too sweet, with the maple and smoke overpowering the drink, and not much bacon flavor coming through. That said, the presentation was excellent; watching the smoke being lit was a highlight, and I even grabbed a video of it. Our total came to about $71 before tip, and we didn't order any food, so it's definitely on the pricier side. Still, for the ambiance, creative cocktails, and overall experience, I think it's worth it--especially for a relaxed night out with a more elevated feel.
