We have been here many times. We have come in to split a bottle of wine & then wine tasting. Great atmosphere, wine, beer & charcuterie boards. Delicious chocolates & macarons. Tuesday they have wine tasting, this wk was wine from Austria & Germany. Staff is so awesome. Shout out to Stefan (owner), Cliff & John! Always knowledge & kind.

Such a great place spot for after dinner with friends. We were searching for a more quieter vibe so we could catch up and stumbled upon here. The host was friendly and walked me through the non-alcoholic options. I did wish there was a non-alcoholic wine option. Charcuterie boards available to pair with drinks. The restrooms were accessible and plenty of street parking in front of the place. I looked at the calendar and seem like they host different events throughout the month.

Wonderful spot to sit downtown Summerville. The owner is a hoot, their wine and beer selection is incredible, it looked like their cheese board was to die for and you can't bit enjoying a nice conversation and cocktail while right off Main Street. So glad we got to come in with family and try this place out

This has been one of our favorite places to go since they first opened many years ago, and now they have multiple locations. We visited the Summerville location this evening. We were greeted by the bartender in a friendly manner and were taken care of very nicely! Got a table by the window and enjoyed some tasty drinks and snacks. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit; will be back again soon.

Whether a quick lunch bite or a relaxing evening, Accent never fails. On a nice day the seating area outside is a great place to people watch. Inside there are lots of intimate tables to be able to have conversations within your party. Excellent service where they will walk you through the wine offerings- but they also have beer options. I also love that on Wednesdays they have teacher night. The cheeseboards, small bites and the sea salt chocolate board are all delicious!!

Great music with the best wine and charcuterie!! Every time I've come to visit yall have been packed!! I'm so glad we were able to sit and enjoy some of what you have to offer! John also picked the most delicious board of goodies for us to share - absolute hands down favorite board I've ever had (thank you for the trout dip) it also paired so well with the bottle that you picked for us!! Can't wait to come back!!

I enjoy coming here for their wine tasting on Tuesdays! They have a great selection of charcuterie boards and staff are all very nice.

One of my favorite wine places in Downtown Summerville. I always find myself here where I need a quiet get away or want to try a new wine. The servers know their stuff. I like that I can let someone my preference and not only do they know what would be a great option, I even get a great alternative! They even shared an app with me that I can scan a bottle of wine they have and see where I can pick it up or order if they are out of stock. I will be back for sure.

Cute little wine spot located along Hutchison Square. Went with a few girlfriends and had a great time . The atmosphere is quaint and rustic and there's options to sit both indoors or outside at a few tables located in front of the entrance . It's a great spot to both start or wind down your evening . The have an extensive menu for charcuterie boards and a diverse collection of wines and sparklings.

Downtown old Summerville hosts a surprisingly large number of low key comfortable establishments, Accent on Wine not withstanding.. 1:30 in the afternoon and the place is surprisingly busy. I broke the mold by ordering two micro sandwiches and a Holly City pluff mud Porter. If you want wine and maybe more, then you can't beat Accent on Wine.. ove had ice wine here this deep in the south.. if you choose to sit outside theb don't expect great service but that could easily be a sign of the times out door smoking. The cute tasty miniwhiches were not quite enough so ordered a three meat two cheese and one item to surprise. Ill let you know how they do.. very tasty. Okay the outdoor services when dressed like a biker sucks. The owner didn't want to be seen chatting up a biker.

So... Let's talk about Accent on Wine! First, they are so much more than wine. Not only can you go in there and find the perfect bottle of wine, you can also have the best service in helping you find exactly what you want. Second, you see how I mentioned service up before? Catering. To go. They will do it all and make your event go perfectly. The Small store touch in customer service with a large brand collection make sure that you have everything that you need for a great night out, an outstanding get together, or a great business event..

A friend and I met here for dinner recently and it was so good! We got the pick 5 board with olive tapenade, salami, smoked salmon, and two cheeses. It came with the bread and the small dollops of mustard. They have a great variety of wines, cheeses, and accouterments for the board. The staff was very helpful and friendly also! They were having a $14 wine tasting going on while we were there but we didn't partake - not much of an Oregon wine drinker, but it changes weekly!

We actually stumbled upon Luxe Bar & Bistro while planning to head downtown, but a bridge closure caused major traffic, so we decided to change plans and just find somewhere local to enjoy a holiday cocktail. After checking reviews online, Luxe Bar & Bistro stood out, so we decided to give it a try -- and we're so glad we did. They have a large outdoor space, but of course, it started to rain as soon as we arrived. Luckily, they also have a covered front patio with a few chairs, which worked out perfectly. We each ordered two cocktails. I started with Under the Mistletoe -- Tito's, house-made rosemary simple syrup, lemon juice, topped with soda ($10). This was hands down the most delicious holiday drink I've had so far this season. It was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and hit the spot. I also tried the seasonal special, a Pomegranate Cranberry Sangria ($10), which was equally good. My husband ordered the Tipsy Grinch-- Malibu rum, mango purée, blue curaçao, pineapple juice, and soda water ($9.50). He said it was sweet but not overly sweet and really enjoyed it. He also had the Dirty Snowman Martini with RumChata, Disaronno Amaretto, vanilla vodka, and a cinnamon sugar rim ($13). He substituted almond milk for the half-and-half, and it was still creamy and delicious. We also had a great conversation with Natalie and quickly realized we had a lot in common, especially when it comes to dogs and the importance of pet safety. I always love meeting a fellow dog mom who shares the same values. The service and ambiance were excellent, and the space was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We will 100% be back -- and next time, we definitely plan on trying the food.

The casino butter, sake and chili garlic will make your taste buds dance. I tried the chili garlic shrimp and gnocchi, and it was so good my wife threatened to steal it. Pillowy soft gnocchi in a rich, decadent sauce with hints of heat was outstanding. It is listed as a small plate, but I found the portion size quite filling. My wife had the oyster roll which was more like a po' boy not a sushi roll. We have had other oyster rolls, and they sometimes disappoint but not this one. Some restaurants just put a few oysters on the top of the bun and that's it, but this roll had oysters all throughout. It came with house made pickles and a single fried oyster on the side as a warmup. I highly recommend it. For dessert we shared a key lime pie semifreddo which was so pretty I almost felt bad for eating it. It was topped with a graham cracker crumble and both raspberry and lime curds. The texture reminding me of ice cream and was not overly tart with a nice hint of key lime. The torched flowers of meringue were really a great touch. Moving back to Charleston after 25 years or so means that while I'm a native, I'm also a "newbie…read moreaka noob" at the same time. However, to look at it in a positive light, I get to explore the area while somewhat knowing the "lay of the land," so to speak. Thus, when my uncle came up from Jacksonville and asked where we could go for a couple glasses of wine I had no clue, thus asking google. The place that I really liked was Accent on Wine. When I first pulled off Dorchester Rd, I thought I had bad directions b/c there wasn't much that set it apart - ie curb appeal from a distance. That all changed opening the door! Walking in the first thing you'll notice is the compact yet quaint wine selection. I love this type of atmosphere as appeals to my snobbish wine nature. The tables and floors are rustic, gleaming with multifunctional utilization that were obtained from an estate sale in the far country. The ceiling is a hybrid of open and closed exposure, being tastefully yet frugally composed. Decore is minimal yet tasteful yielding it's way to open white wall space. It's very tastefully thought out. Finally, as a lover of all things 80s, the music was spot on. Adam Ant, Depeche Mode and Flock of Seagulls really created an upbeat ambiance. I sat down then after watching other patrons I realized that ordering beverages and/or food meant you have to go to the bar offset on the right. No problem as I'm willing to engage in a new experience. Talking with the very nice bartender, it's set up this way to have the limited staff focus on important items like slinging suds or grapes and not inconvenienced with the complexities of life such as WALKING. I joke and I have no problem with the setup. Again, I want to reiterate the staff here are excellent; knowledgably in the menu and being able to engage in bar talk. If one were to consider Cheers as a reference point: the good attributes of Sam, Cliff and Norm mixed into two people. I literally just came from eating at La Minerva and while I would have loved to sample their menu I wasn't hungry. However, I did opt for a glass of wine. As stated before I love wines and more specifically red wines from either Bourdeau, Burgendy or Rhone and "son on a gun" they had a Cote-du-Rhone Villages 2022. To fill you guys in, I just moved from Austin TX and almost no where I went could you buy a French red wine by the glass, so pardon my elation! The wine was really good with a balance of black current, cherry and licorice while slowly melding on the tongue, rounding out the experience to a smooth landing. Not pretentious, not overpowering just a mellow experience while having enough tannis to poke you if you wanted to forget. Overall, I love this joint, my style of low-key, sophistication, supply of items I like and while there weren't many people there, the vibe was a mixture of life: whether it's sitting and relaxing or a more energetic affair. I'm extremely curious what the atmosphere is like in terms of more people hanging out and also the food. Today call me Arnold b/c "I'll be back...."
