We have been here many times. We have come in to split a bottle of wine & then wine tasting. Great atmosphere, wine, beer & charcuterie boards. Delicious chocolates & macarons. Tuesday they have wine tasting, this wk was wine from Austria & Germany. Staff is so awesome. Shout out to Stefan (owner), Cliff & John! Always knowledge & kind.

Such a great place spot for after dinner with friends. We were searching for a more quieter vibe so we could catch up and stumbled upon here. The host was friendly and walked me through the non-alcoholic options. I did wish there was a non-alcoholic wine option. Charcuterie boards available to pair with drinks. The restrooms were accessible and plenty of street parking in front of the place. I looked at the calendar and seem like they host different events throughout the month.

Wonderful spot to sit downtown Summerville. The owner is a hoot, their wine and beer selection is incredible, it looked like their cheese board was to die for and you can't bit enjoying a nice conversation and cocktail while right off Main Street. So glad we got to come in with family and try this place out

This has been one of our favorite places to go since they first opened many years ago, and now they have multiple locations. We visited the Summerville location this evening. We were greeted by the bartender in a friendly manner and were taken care of very nicely! Got a table by the window and enjoyed some tasty drinks and snacks. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit; will be back again soon.

Whether a quick lunch bite or a relaxing evening, Accent never fails. On a nice day the seating area outside is a great place to people watch. Inside there are lots of intimate tables to be able to have conversations within your party. Excellent service where they will walk you through the wine offerings- but they also have beer options. I also love that on Wednesdays they have teacher night. The cheeseboards, small bites and the sea salt chocolate board are all delicious!!

First of all John you are a gem!! Thank you for making my mom's yes day an absolute delight!! You picked the most perfect bottle on this very spicy South Carolina day.. Also hey boi hey!! Great music with the best wine and charcuterie!! Every time I've come to visit yall have been packed!! I'm so glad we were able to sit and enjoy some of what you have to offer! John also picked the most delicious board of goodies for us to share - absolute hands down favorite board I've ever had (thank you for the trout dip) it also paired so well with the bottle that you picked for us!! Can't wait to come back!!

I enjoy coming here for their wine tasting on Tuesdays! They have a great selection of charcuterie boards and staff are all very nice.

One of my favorite wine places in Downtown Summerville. I always find myself here where I need a quiet get away or want to try a new wine. The servers know their stuff. I like that I can let someone my preference and not only do they know what would be a great option, I even get a great alternative! They even shared an app with me that I can scan a bottle of wine they have and see where I can pick it up or order if they are out of stock. I will be back for sure.

Downtown old Summerville hosts a surprisingly large number of low key comfortable establishments, Accent on Wine not withstanding.. 1:30 in the afternoon and the place is surprisingly busy. I broke the mold by ordering two micro sandwiches and a Holly City pluff mud Porter. If you want wine and maybe more, then you can't beat Accent on Wine.. ove had ice wine here this deep in the south.. if you choose to sit outside theb don't expect great service but that could easily be a sign of the times out door smoking. The cute tasty miniwhiches were not quite enough so ordered a three meat two cheese and one item to surprise. Ill let you know how they do.. very tasty. Okay the outdoor services when dressed like a biker sucks. The owner didn't want to be seen chatting up a biker.

Cute little wine spot located along Hutchison Square. Went with a few girlfriends and had a great time . The atmosphere is quaint and rustic and there's options to sit both indoors or outside at a few tables located in front of the entrance . It's a great spot to both start or wind down your evening . The have an extensive menu for charcuterie boards and a diverse collection of wines and sparklings.

Lovely little spot for date night or girls night! They have an amazing list of snacks and desserts to pair with your wine! We will be back to hang out, snack, drink and enjoy some good conversation!

A friend and I met here for dinner recently and it was so good! We got the pick 5 board with olive tapenade, salami, smoked salmon, and two cheeses. It came with the bread and the small dollops of mustard. They have a great variety of wines, cheeses, and accouterments for the board. The staff was very helpful and friendly also! They were having a $14 wine tasting going on while we were there but we didn't partake - not much of an Oregon wine drinker, but it changes weekly!

So... Let's talk about Accent on Wine! First, they are so much more than wine. Not only can you go in there and find the perfect bottle of wine, you can also have the best service in helping you find exactly what you want. Second, you see how I mentioned service up before? Catering. To go. They will do it all and make your event go perfectly. The Small store touch in customer service with a large brand collection make sure that you have everything that you need for a great night out, an outstanding get together, or a great business event..

The drinks are priced on the higher end, but the relaxed, comfortable atmosphere makes it feel approachable. We also love that they offer seasonal and holiday cocktails, which is right up our alley. We brought Luna along and sat on the patio, which was a nice option. I would love to see heaters added outside to make the patio more comfortable on cooler nights. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive throughout our visit. I ordered the Fireside Chat (served warm), made with Four Roses Bourbon, Croft Tawny Port, apple cider, orange juice, grenadine, turbinado sugar, allspice, and clove ($15). I really enjoyed the flavor profile--warm, well-balanced, and perfect for the season. That said, I was a little disappointed that my second drink wasn't garnished nearly as nicely as the first, especially given the price. Flavor-wise, though, both were very good. My husband started with the Gingersnap, which includes Monkey Shoulder blended Scotch whisky, Disaronno almond liqueur, butterscotch liqueur, spiced ginger syrup, heavy cream, Angostura bitters, cookie rim, and nutmeg ($16). He enjoyed it but felt it was definitely a one-drink cocktail due to how sweet, creamy, and heavy it was. He also ordered the Smoked Maple-Bacon Old Fashioned with bacon fat-washed bourbon, spiced maple syrup, tobacco bitters, and a salted brown sugar rim ($16). This one was a miss for him--too sweet, with the maple and smoke overpowering the drink, and not much bacon flavor coming through. That said, the presentation was excellent; watching the smoke being lit was a highlight, and I even grabbed a video of it. Our total came to about $71 before tip, and we didn't order any food, so it's definitely on the pricier side. Still, for the ambiance, creative cocktails, and overall experience, I think it's worth it--especially for a relaxed night out with a more elevated feel.

They have a large outdoor space, but of course, it started to rain as soon as we arrived. Luckily, they also have a covered front patio with a few chairs, which worked out perfectly. We each ordered two cocktails. I started with Under the Mistletoe -- Tito's, house-made rosemary simple syrup, lemon juice, topped with soda ($10). This was hands down the most delicious holiday drink I've had so far this season. It was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and hit the spot. I also tried the seasonal special, a Pomegranate Cranberry Sangria ($10), which was equally good. My husband ordered the Tipsy Grinch-- Malibu rum, mango purée, blue curaçao, pineapple juice, and soda water ($9.50). He said it was sweet but not overly sweet and really enjoyed it. He also had the Dirty Snowman Martini with RumChata, Disaronno Amaretto, vanilla vodka, and a cinnamon sugar rim ($13). He substituted almond milk for the half-and-half, and it was still creamy and delicious. We also had a great conversation with Natalie and quickly realized we had a lot in common, especially when it comes to dogs and the importance of pet safety. I always love meeting a fellow dog mom who shares the same values. The service and ambiance were excellent, and the space was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We will 100% be back -- and next time, we definitely plan on trying the food.

Moving back to Charleston after 25 years or so means that while I'm a native, I'm also a "newbie…read moreaka noob" at the same time. However, to look at it in a positive light, I get to explore the area while somewhat knowing the "lay of the land," so to speak. Thus, when my uncle came up from Jacksonville and asked where we could go for a couple glasses of wine I had no clue, thus asking google. The place that I really liked was Accent on Wine. When I first pulled off Dorchester Rd, I thought I had bad directions b/c there wasn't much that set it apart - ie curb appeal from a distance. That all changed opening the door! Walking in the first thing you'll notice is the compact yet quaint wine selection. I love this type of atmosphere as appeals to my snobbish wine nature. The tables and floors are rustic, gleaming with multifunctional utilization that were obtained from an estate sale in the far country. The ceiling is a hybrid of open and closed exposure, being tastefully yet frugally composed. Decore is minimal yet tasteful yielding it's way to open white wall space. It's very tastefully thought out. Finally, as a lover of all things 80s, the music was spot on. Adam Ant, Depeche Mode and Flock of Seagulls really created an upbeat ambiance. I sat down then after watching other patrons I realized that ordering beverages and/or food meant you have to go to the bar offset on the right. No problem as I'm willing to engage in a new experience. Talking with the very nice bartender, it's set up this way to have the limited staff focus on important items like slinging suds or grapes and not inconvenienced with the complexities of life such as WALKING. I joke and I have no problem with the setup. Again, I want to reiterate the staff here are excellent; knowledgably in the menu and being able to engage in bar talk. If one were to consider Cheers as a reference point: the good attributes of Sam, Cliff and Norm mixed into two people. I literally just came from eating at La Minerva and while I would have loved to sample their menu I wasn't hungry. However, I did opt for a glass of wine. As stated before I love wines and more specifically red wines from either Bourdeau, Burgendy or Rhone and "son on a gun" they had a Cote-du-Rhone Villages 2022. To fill you guys in, I just moved from Austin TX and almost no where I went could you buy a French red wine by the glass, so pardon my elation! The wine was really good with a balance of black current, cherry and licorice while slowly melding on the tongue, rounding out the experience to a smooth landing. Not pretentious, not overpowering just a mellow experience while having enough tannis to poke you if you wanted to forget. Overall, I love this joint, my style of low-key, sophistication, supply of items I like and while there weren't many people there, the vibe was a mixture of life: whether it's sitting and relaxing or a more energetic affair. I'm extremely curious what the atmosphere is like in terms of more people hanging out and also the food. Today call me Arnold b/c "I'll be back...."
