Roseline is such a gem downtown. Cozy, intimate, and thoughtfully curated the kind of tiny wine shop you stumble into and don't want to leave. The wine selection is fantastic, and everything about the experience feels warm and intentional. A must-stop if you love great wine in a charming setting.

If I lived in Charleston, I would be here every weekend! And, I would host my birthday party here. Adorable and such a great atmosphere.

OMG, this place is adorable! The coziest, tiniest, most aesthetic wine bar I could ever imagine. They have a great selection of wine and other drinks. Bartenders were kind and personable. I hope to return!

Our favorite wine bar in the area!…read more The service was exceptional as our server was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us choose wines that were a perfect fit for our tastes. They offer an impressive selection of wines both by the glass and by the bottle, making it easy to find something you'll love. While the food menu is small, every item feels thoughtfully curated. The black olives were the perfect snack pairing, and the peaches were absolutely incredible. We loved learning that the peaches are sourced locally and that the mint is grown fresh right behind the restaurant. The space itself is cozy and intimate, creating a warm atmosphere that makes every visit feel special. We can't wait to come back!

It was quaint but very inviting. I'm so sorry if I got your name wrong but I think it was Nicole? She was very friendly and told us about their specials and I love that they print a new menu daily as they rotate a lot of their wines. There was an option to do a "half bottle" which gets you just a touch more than a glass so we thought that was perfect for the two of us for just under $40. We got a nice and chilled Gamay and enjoyed our conversations with her. It's a nice place for a date, girls night or even if you want to sit alone at the bar. The team there makes you feel at home!

His ability to create a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining the highest standards of service is truly remarkable. Every detail, from guest satisfaction to team morale, reflects his dedication, vision, and commitment to excellence. We drive from Jacksonville Florida regularly because Alpha's attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and genuine care for both guests and employees set a standard that is rarely matched. High Cotton is a delicious, juicy experience! I firmly believe that High Cotton's restaurant's success is a direct reflection of Alpha's brilliant leadership and unwavering pursuit of excellence.

We frequently dine at many of the higher-end restaurants in downtown Charleston and Mount Pleasant,…read moreso we arrived with high expectations, especially given this restaurant's connection to the Halls group. The dining room is beautiful, and the ambiance is excellent. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality level or price point of the restaurant. When entrées range from $65-$70 for fish, $80+ for steaks, and side dishes approach $14 or more, guests reasonably expect an elevated and attentive dining experience. Throughout the evening, our server seemed rushed and disengaged. Despite our efforts to be friendly and conversational, interactions felt brief and transactional. A drink order was delivered incorrectly, and rather than improving as the meal progressed, the service became increasingly impersonal. We never felt particularly welcomed or valued as guests. A special night out with a $300-$400 check should feel memorable for the right reasons. While the food and atmosphere were good, the overall experience fell short of what we have come to expect from restaurants operating in this category and at this price level. We are glad we gave it a try, but in the future we'll likely choose other Charleston-area restaurants that deliver a more polished and hospitality-focused experience when entertaining family and friends from out of town.
