The sound of swanky music pulled me and my friends in after a night of bouldering across the street. As we walked in the place was cute and funky. We sat and the server helped find the wine we all wanted, taking time and patience with all of us to assure we loved what we had. Would definitely come back for the music and service 100x again
Nice wine bar, great selection by the glass. Super nice staff. Has a bit of a modern, industrial vibe to it. The skin-contact wine they offer was very interesting, never tasted anything like it before.
After dinner, we decided we should check out Graft Wine bar located on upper King. This place has a cool hipster casual vibe. Of course the most important thing is the wines. It's like Christmas morning here to those people that love wine. The selection of wines from across the globe is impressive. The prices are also very competitive, basically pick a wine have the bartender open it for a corkage fee of $15. Sweet deal. The staff are very helpful and not pretentious at all. The decor is very retro in style with old vinyl records available to play should you want. We loved it here and it's a great addition to the restaurants in upper King where are you can go for a drink before or after dinner. You should definitely check it out, especially if your wine drinker.
Been here a couple times now for their free wine tasting on Tuesdays. This night we came in for a quick glass of wine before heading to dinner. The staff here are always so friendly and knowledgeable about the wine. Limited seating, but great spot for quick bites, wine or a date. They have a unique selection of wine and so many cool ones to try that you don't see often. Cheers!
We stumbled upon this gem by accident. Our table at Melfie's wasn't ready and there was no room at their bar. So we went in search of a pre dinner drink. Wow- what a great discovery!!! We got a table despite our large crowd. We had a few great bottles of wine. The selection was impressive. Loved the atmosphere. I highly recommend!!
We quite literally stumbled across this wine bar and shop while waiting for our table nearby. Further down King from the main drag, the door is to the side and not the street, so it was not easy to notice. The space is modern without pretentiousness. Low lighting, and not loud, shelves decorated with music memorabilia. The service was great, relaxed and knowledgeable, able to make good recommendations. Our group really enjoyed the wine bar, too bad we discovered it our last night in Charleston.
This wine shop is a staple for my wife and I. They have such a great staff and are great to talk with and they have amazing suggestions. We came during a "burger-off" and had two incredible burgers. The staff was able to pair some wines appropriately. It's a great, cozy feel with personable and knowledgeable staff.
The casual experience of fine wine in a laid-back, vibe-y atmosphere. Graft is the perfect after work, weekend, girls night, any thing you want it to be hangout place. The owners and staff are friendly and attentive. The music is on point and they have an endless supply of wine to choose from. They offer a light bites menu as well. Graft also serves as a host for many events. I love their Good Neighbor Sunday events that showcase various restaurants, food trucks, and vendors throughout the area. Service is held inside and out and outside is pet friendly. The only downer is parking. You will have to find street parking, but this is the norm for many downtown places. Don't let this turn you away because they have a lot to offer

Finding a place to grab a nice glass of wine is something I never take for granted. Graft is an adorable and cozy vibe, offering a wide variety of wines from all over. The services is great, everyone is very knowledgeable, able to answer all my questions! Perfect pre dinner drink spot
I've loved Graft Wine Bar since the 1st time I visited with friends. Very laid-back, with a cool vibe. Good selection of wines to drink by the glass and purchase by the bottle.

Got a recommendation from a bar tender to come her and was very happy because we thought it was just a wine shop but it has a big bar as well. The happy hour was great $7 wine choices. The cava we got was very good. They have lots of options and the service was great. They have small snacks but you can go get a pizza next door and bring it back if you want to. We also got a bottle out of the fridge to bring home and that was amazing as well. If I lived her I would frequent this spot! read more

We came in prior to our dinner reservation across the street. We came in having no idea how much we'd love it! Super super chill vibes (the best) with an impressive wine collection. All of the bottles are super visible on the walls with prices (we love transparency!!). We had a glass and left but can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. Would also be great if you're looking to purchase wine bottles (don't need to drink there!). read more
I cannot recommend this place enough! The service: excellent. The wine: thoughtfully curated by knowledgeable staff. Snacks: paired with just the right amount of food without taking itself too seriously (I.e. the Fritos with the pimento cheese). This is easily one of our favorite places my girlfriend and I have visited in our 1.5 months living in Charleston. We definitely see ourselves becoming regulars over the next several years! read more
I met a friend for wine tonight and Graft did not disappoint! We both enjoyed the sparkling happy hour specials. I tried the cava and the Rosato. Both were refreshing and not sweet. This is a great spot to meet for a glass of wine or to take bottles to enjoy at home. Cozy atmosphere, nice people. We tried the pimento cheese and it was delicious! My friend thought the Fritos overpowered the pimento cheese, but I thought they were the perfect dipper! I look forward to returning to graft for a glass or a bottle to go! read more

Best wine shop in Charleston? Here. Grower Champagne. Biodynamic and natural wines from OR, CA, and Europe. Superb small batch wines under $50 that would make Eric Asimov and Alice Feiring proud. Wines by the glass are great here. Plus, a $15 corkage fee gets any bottle in the shop opened to enjoy. How cool is that? Be sure to seek out co-owner Femi O., an advanced level 3 somm and former DJ, for tips on selecting a killer bottle for a special occasion or sweet someone. If you're new to town, you might also pick up a few good suggestions for dining out and shopping as well. The wines here appear on many a restaurant wine list in town for hefty markups. Why not stop here first to collect a 4 or 6 pack for your home kitchen instead? Wine shopping does not get much better than this! read more

Great employees, amazing selection of wines and overall welcoming vibe! Everyone was knowledgeable and friendly. I left with 3 bottles and I can't wait to enjoy them! The location is right by some great restaurants so it's an easy choice after or before a meal. It's a bar as well so during the day you can come in and grab a bottle and towards you can enjoy a glass at the bar. Highlight of my trip to Charleston! read more

Graft was an awesome experience. The showroom was full of so many different types of wine and someone was always there to answer questions and help you pick the perfect bottle. The snacks were great and the wine was even better. read more

This is the eclectic wine spot you've always dreamed up. This place is simply amazing. They play incredible music, have a great following and a very cool vibe not seen elsewhere in the Charleston wine scene. This place will fill a void you never knew existed in your life. read more
