Tried Huriyali for the first time last week and have already been back a few times! The staff is very kind and welcoming, but not too overbearing like some places. I haven't tried the food yet, but the lattes and pastries are really good with some unique flavors. We tried one smoothie, it wasn't our absolute favorite but still good for the price! A great lunch spot if you've checked out the azalea blooms in nearby Hampton Park! I got their seasonal Queen Bee cold brew with honey cold foam. The cold brew was smooth and acid free, while the honey added a touch of novel sweetness. I also ordered their green grits bowl, which came with corn grits, pesto, arugula, tomato, sweet potato, and choice of tempeh or turkey bacon. It was just the dose of nutrients I needed. I love Huriyali, but this location is like being in a college lunch room. Crowded and loud. They didn't have all the syrups available, probably because they are just so busy. This location has a little courtyard which is sweet but multiple groups of people had to get up and leave because the mosquitoes were so bad. I had breakfast here with my boyfriend and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We sat outside under the covered patio, and it was surprisingly cool and comfortable. The whole place is decorated very nicely and is a nice place to spend some of your time. For drinks, I got an iced lavender latte that was pretty solid, and my boyfriend had the seasonal strawberry hibiscus matcha latte, which he enjoyed. The only disappointment for me was the acai bowl. I was very very excited to try it, however the base of the bowl was very bland. I would skip the acai bowl and go for one of their other food options, my boyfriend had the avocado toast and loved it! Honestly one of my favorite lunch spots in Charleston. I always leave feeling refreshed and full. The banh mi with tofu is my all time fave- it's so fresh and perfectly balanced. The vinaigrette on it is to die for and I love getting my fill of veggies and soaking up everything with the delicious bread. I also always grab a green juice or an AM cleanse. My second favorites are definitely the turkey panini and the BLT. You honestly can't go wrong with anything here. The patio is pet friendly. The seasonal special drinks are pretty expensive (strawberry matcha was $8+), and the strawberry flavor in the matcha was very light, so for me, I was disappointed.
