Whether traveling or at home, I'm always looking for the best steaks up. Sadly, I think I found it here - 500 miles from my home! I tell you this cheesesteak was stuffed with tender, juicy, well-seasoned steak! They added my favorites--mushrooms and jalapeños and skipped the mayo. I like Italian dressing on mine, but didn't use it because it didn't need any extra seasoning! When I saw the sandwich, I thought it's probably not filled and all the meat is just on the top of a lot of bread. Boy, was I wrong! You can see in the photo that it is stuffed with me. Where I come from you at least get a side of chips, but here everything is sold separately. No matter, I left full and happy. It's a deli, so you order at the counter and they bring the food out to your table in the small dining room. Looking forward to my next visit to force myself to try something else. read more

I would call this place more of a casual restaurant than a deli (to me a deli is Boars head and tuna in a case). Order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. Very cute retro gaming decor. Some games on tables to play and some games displayed on the wall for nostalgia. My favorite part was vegetarian options labeled as such. I chose the plantloaf sandwich. Served on Texas toast with sweet caramelized onions. Very hearty and savory. My non vegetarian son had the hotdog with fries that he loved. I got the green Latifah and the folly beach crunch wrap, and highly recommend both! The wrap was a large portion, I could only finish half. As someone who loves crunch in their foods, I appreciated the unique addition of chips to the wrap.
