    Protein Bowl with tofu
    Mia C.

I love the Daily. They have really good coffee here, even black it is high quality. They also make excellent specialty drinks with the coffee. We got the tofu protein bowl and tomato Sammy. Both were full of flavor and healthy. The bun on the Sammy was soft and sweet. Service is always on point. I love coming here for a healthy good meal.

All the good reviews of The Daily have all been true! This is a cute little spot located next to a small parking lot with a simple but packed menu. What I mean by that is the menu items aren't anything crazy, but the flavors and presentation are. I ordered the avocado toast and added bacon and my friend ordered the feta toast. They were so good and filling! The matcha was a bit bland on its own so I ordered a side of natural honey and that did the trick. The lavender drink is one of the best. Overall the prices are great, seating is limited, and it's a 10/10!

Delicious spot with a parking lot!! There are many great breakfast and lunch spots in the city and this should be at the top of your list. Fresh, delicious, flavor packed breakfast and lunch items with excellent cold brew and iced lattes! We did the 3 egg burrito and the breakfast burrito and they were both bombs of flavor in each bite. The cold brew is delicious and a great pick me up and the classic iced latte with their homemade vanilla bean syrup made me happy with each sip. It can get busy in there but they have a decent amount of seating and by the time you order spots will likely open up to sit or you can take it to go. I also love the parking lot because that's hard to come by in the city. We will definitely come back to this spot next time we are in town!

I love the daily!! It's always pretty crowded when I go, but they're great about keeping the line moving and food to you pretty quick all things considered. Food is always deliciousss too

I just dropped in for a to-go coffee order. The shop is small, but there is a nice amount of outdoor seating. It can get a little stuffy and packed when there is a rush. It took no time for our coffees to come out, which were pretty good. They don't have any whipped cream but were able to give me espresso foam which added a nice touch to my iced coffee. I would come back again to try some food options.

We stayed on King Street for spring break and absolutely loved this place! We all had iced coffee's, which were delicious, but came back for the whipped feta toast! It's truly amazing! I can't wait to come back on our next trip!

Cute and casual breakfast spot. Unique menu. I enjoyed the whipped feta toast and a pumpkin cheesecake latte.

One of my favorite breakfast/brunch spots in Charleston. Simple food done well. Great coffee and teas. Perfect place to pop in and get off your feet after enjoying the farmers market on a Saturday afternoon. Service is always kind.

Stopped in for breakfast and ordered the avocado toast, which was actually pretty decent--fresh, tasty, and nicely prepared. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the food. My order was ready and sitting at the pickup counter, but the server forgot to bring it to the table, so I ended up grabbing it myself. Overall, good food but the experience could've been much better with a little more attention from the staff.

You must try The Daily! It is a laidback and casual "order at the counter" spot, with a friendly staff, serving bites deserving of five stars. I've been a few times now, sampled some of the menu items, and never been disappointed. Most recently, I tried the breakfast burrito and paired it with an iced vanilla latte and WOW! First of all, one of the best tortillas I've ever tasted and every bite was packed with more flavor than I could've predicted. Perfect scrambled eggs paired with potatoes, salsa verde, and pickled onions all so fresh and delicious. Also this is a sturdy breakfast burrito it didn't fall apart at all 10/10. I also could not recommend anything more highly than the whipped feta toast! Not something I would typically gravitate toward, but it's something you can't miss... pretty much the perfect brunch plate. If you're in the area (or even if you're not!) be sure to stop in, it can get a little crowded around peak weekend hours, but it's never too hard to grab a table! Also, they have wonderful outside seating if the weather is nice!

Brown sugar latte & raspberry pop tart
    Jenny R.

An easy place to stop for a hot beverage and a sweet bite! We tried their house-made brown sugar latte and dirty golden latte, both of which were well-balanced. Then once I saw the pastries on display, I couldn't leave without the raspberry pop tart. It was crispy, buttery, a little sweet and tart. Yum! The servers were really nice and our coffees came out quickly. It's a small place, so I'm sure it can get busy quickly, but there's outdoor seating as well. It was really nice that they have a small parking lot so you didn't have to find space on the street too.

We came here for brunch. The Mocha coffee and hibiscus tea were both super good. Highly recommend the avocado bowl. Not a lot of seats for this very popular place.

    Soft Scrambled Toast

Top tier cold brew, quiet location just down the street from popular king street shopping. Sourdough toast was great, we got it topped with avocado and scrambled eggs which were both good! Staff was friendly and operation was smooth, highly recommended going out of the way for!

5/5 Stars - Absolutely Incredible!…read more This spot is a total gem. We ordered a vanilla cinnamon iced latte, a cappuccino, a smoothie, a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel, and a strawberry pop-tart, and every single item was outstanding- gluten free options too!!! The breakfast sandwich was perfect--flavorful, fresh, and served on a perfectly toasted everything bagel. The strawberry pop-tart was unreal, an elevated treat, and the drinks hit the spot. The iced latte had just the right balance of vanilla and cinnamon without being overly sweet, the cappuccino was expertly crafted, and the smoothie was incredibly refreshing. Beyond the food, the vibe here is immaculate. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the background music is great, and the workers are exceptionally friendly. It's the perfect place to kickstart your morning. We will definitely be back!

It is much more casual than I thought, with some of the menu (like bowls and salads) already made and ready to grab from the fridge. So happy we ended up staying because everything was fantastic. We ordered at the counter, grabbed drinks from the fridge and found a table on the side, covered patio. Food was brought out super quickly and it was absolutely delicious. I got the St. Philip pita, which was incredible and almost tasted like a halal cart chicken sandwich in the best way. It was so filling and so good. It came with a really tasty side salad. My fiance got the BLT which was just as great. I can see this being a really ideal space to bring my laptop and get some work done if I lived in the area. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a great, casual space for breakfast, lunch or coffees.

We came for breakfast and started with the banana bread with Nutella cream cheese -- absolutely incredible. We also split the cornmeal pancakes, which were so good we came back the next morning just to have them again. I ordered the B.E.C. with the home fries, and I can honestly say they may have been the best potatoes I've ever had in any form. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and they practically melted in my mouth. My husband had the turkey club and said it was fantastic as well. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and memorable. We loved it so much we went back the very next day. 10/10 -- highly recommend if you're visiting Charleston!

First off, the aesthetic is on point. Great design. Love the display of record covers on the…read morewall, though we agreed that it was a totally missed opportunity that there was no music playing, even though they had what appeared to be a great sound system as well. Second, this is one of the few places that's still having you scan a QR-code at the table for the menu. ...So, we're sitting down at this cool restaurant, with southern hospitality vibes, and we're being directed to pull out our phones to pull up the menu and then spend a good minute with our faces in our phones trying to decide what we want. Vibe killer, for sure. I would rather have a nicely-designed card stock menu with an eggy fingerprint or a coffee stain than sitting at the table with my phone out waiting for the menu to download and then trying to navigate it while discussing it with the server, who in our case, was a bit impatient. And also loud and impersonal while I'm at it. So, we ended up ordering: BISCUITS AND GRAVY-- this was the best thing we ordered. Rosemary presence was just right (love Rosemary but not too much). The pickled ocra on the side was perfectly pickled and crisp, which was a wonderful contrast to the scrambled eggs and gravy-soaked biscuits. I wish I could've walked out with a jar of them. Only complaint was I wish that there were some small chunks of sausage in the gravy. CINNAMON ROLL- this was impressive, a biscuit cinnamon roll pulled high with a whipped, airy cream cheese frosting. Wasn't the best cinnamon roll I've ever had. If there was a classic ooey gooey cinnamon roll near by, I'd pick that. Still appreciated it as something different that was executed well and highlighted their biscuits. MILLERS PLATE (I think that was the name of it)-- it was a basic breakfast platter with eggs, choice of breakfast meat (my son chose bacon), home fries, and a biscuit. My son said it was basic, but that his potatoes were over-fried and greasy. PATATAS BARAVAS-- my husband got this and said that the sausage was sparse and it was overloaded by large chunks of potato. If you're going to pay nearly $20 for a plate, it shouldn't be primarily filled with filler like potato. He said flavor was nice, though. Also, he missed on the menu that the meat was a "brisket sausage" and not "brisket AND sausage," so worth noting if, like him, you would be looking forward to the latter. This is pay at the table. They also pre-set tip options to 20, 22, and 25%. And our server stood there waiting for us to complete our transaction. Hate that. If you must use a pay at the table device, be classy and review the ticket with the patron, give a kind farewell, and then give them step away to give them space to decide on the total and tip without pressure. Also, we nearly never tip less than 20% and more often tip more, but it puts a bad taste in my mouth whenever suggested tips start at 20 or more percent and go higher. Bit presumptuous. On the way out we had to stop and grab some pics from the Photo Booth. This was a fun touch. Glad to have tried this spot while making a pit stop in Charleston. Has special breakfast/brunch vibes, for sure. Just a few things that could be improved.

Every single thing we ordered was incredible. I can honestly say this was the best meal I had during my entire trip to Charleston. I was also excited to see a Super Tuscan on the wine list since it's my favorite red wine and not something you find everywhere. And one thing I really appreciated that probably sounds random, but if you've been to Charleston in the summer, you'll understand...it was actually nice and cool inside. It was such a relief after being out in the heat and humidity all day and made it so much more enjoyable to sit down and have a great meal. The pizza we ordered was markedly smaller than before and the crust was different and looked like it was premade and frozen. It had the taste and look of DiGiorno pizza. Previously, the pizza was a standout but now Indaco and La Tela in Kiawah are making much better pizza pies.
