Vintage Coffee is a great spot for a morning coffee with a fun and spacious play area for kids, especially for parents! The breakfast burrito was delicious; I wish it was a bit bigger. The latte was decent, nothing special. My favorite part was the outside seating and backyard space with a converted truck into a playground for kids! Stopped into Vintage Coffee Cafe during a road trip and it was the perfect little find. The weather was beautiful so we grabbed a table outside and it could not have been a better setting for a relaxed breakfast. Service was good, the coffee was great and the bacon was perfectly crispy. The fruit bowl was generous and fresh. Such a charming spot and a great stop if you are passing through Mount Pleasant. Would absolutely pop in again next time we are in the area. read more

Ordered the Vintage breakfast sandwich online after seeing toasted bread and ooey gooey cheese and eggs in the online pictures. The order was ready when I arrived as promised, super simple to pick up online orders. The roasted tomato and crispy prosciutto were delicious, but I feel like they really missed an opportunity to toast up the sourdough! The bread was barely warm and just not toasted. This place is super cool! The inside of the coffee shop was rather packed and busy with people ordering, but the outside is awesome and attached to a place that sells wood fired pizza and beer! Nice surprise. Vintage was walking distance from my AirBnB and I decided to try the door at 7:30 am even though their hours on Yelp showed closed in the quick description (they open at 7am). Walking in, it feels like all coffee shops should. Nice morning vibe. I ordered a Costa Rican pour over, and waited. It got busy quickly. I beat the rush! After paying nearly $8 for a cup of coffee I was expecting a lot. The coffee was strong, bright, and rich. Not acidic or bitter. I usually just order a simple latte to get a barometer of how good the coffee is at any shop. The only exception is if the shop makes their own house made syrup. Vintage makes their own house made syrup either in kitchen or barista designed. The barista recommended the caramel or brown sugar. I went ahead and grabbed the caramel and it was light and delightful. A wonderful treat since I get coffee and dessert. There's an indoor and outdoor seating area and a kids play lot... although I saw parents playing in the lot also. Great gathering place for the community. Casual. Private lot parking. Great service. We can love Vintage coffee! Had nieces doing a quick overnight in Mount Pleasant and we told them a must do breakfast is at Vintage! Dog friendly for them and they loved the açaí bowl and avocado toast. The honey lavender latte was the best I've had! Great location near Shem Creek where they then walked their dog! I truly think Vintage is part of what wowed them into thinking that this might be a future move to location and our one niece can go there daily and her sister can visit her there from Texas! Amazing food and great coffee. I had the vintage sandwich which was to die for. I used their Vintage hot sauce with it which as a hot sauce girlie, i'd buy the bottle. I didn't realize at first that they make their own hot sauce (i believe). The shop was so quaint. It was raining so it was packed but they have more than enough out door seating and parking. Came here for breakfast. First off the place is cute, it's not bad look-wise. I ordered the egg, veggie hash or whatever. I thought it would be vegetables on a bed of seasoned potatoes with my fried eggs. The fried eggs were fine. However, they gave me a couple of dry, barely cooked or flavored potatoes that they tucked around the edges of the vegetables to hide the fact that there were only 4 pieces. Also the vegetables were just a bunch of chopped up Brussel sprouts? and like 3 pieces of cauliflower, which were the only good vegetable. Oh there were also some black beans sprinkled on top that tasted like they were straight from the can. I also tried their matcha latte. Disgusting. Watered down and tasted like oat milk. I would not come here if I were you it's a waste of time. Plenty of better cafe's around. The service also wasn't great. They're not very friendly. read more

Came here on a Monday morning and the place was slammed. Not many open spots to sit inside but we found a corner and hung out for a while. We weren't super hungry so we shared one burrito (selected the chorizo as the meat option) which is actually definitely enough food to share! So good! I did not try their coffee but the tea was pretty good. My only complaint is that they pour their hot tea over ice to make an iced tea so mine was lukewarm at first. I ended up getting a second cup of ice to pour into. Use the Charleston hot sauce! I'm not into spicy and this was just a hint of spice and really made the dish better. This is a charming cafe on Sullivans Island with indoor and outdoor seating. This spot knows how to brew a cup of coffee. The pour over had 3 options, Kenyan, Columbia, and one decaf. It takes a bit longer to brew with pour over because of the brewing method, so be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes. The cappuccino was 8 ounces, and it had a delicious foam. Milk options: whole milk or skim milk. The pour over we tried was Kenyan, and they brought out the natural taste very well. read more

Stopped by on a Thursday afternoon to grab coffee with friends. The coffee shop is in a super cute old home in the historic heart of Mt. Pleasant. The inside is pretty small and was pretty busy. There are seating options outside as well. The menu looked awesome with lots of yummy options! The food looked good and the baked goods looked delicious! The baristas were friendly and helpful. I ordered an iced coffee with their house made pistachio mocha syrup with light ice and a splash of almond milk. My coffee was delicious but was 3/4 full of ice! My girls also ordered their iced coffees with light ice and theirs were pretty full of ice also. My only complaint would be way too much ice but I would definitely visit again! read more

New Yorker here traveling to SC for labor day weekend and stoped here for breakfast our first day. don't do it. get yourself some diner food which will be far cheaper and much tastier. my bagel wasn't toasted and despite the menu saying it would have cream cheese it came with soggy arugula and a cold egg, not to mention the fact that my cappuccino was half empty. at the very least, since the food wasn't the best, they could've filled my coffee cup. the crispy potatoes weren't terrible but very salty and the vegetable hash was average. read more

A nice sunday out, meeting some friends for brunch. Just keep in mind it can get very busy and seating can become limited during these hours. The accomadating staff really makes up for how busy it was. I got the breakfast burrittto and it absolutely slapped. Two people in my group on the other hand ordered the avacado toast and they were less then impressed. The atmosphere really set everything off. Very relaxing outdoor area, now that we are out of the summer heat i can see myself coming again, but if this was a few months prior, it may be too hot to really enjoy the outdoor seatng. read more

The Funky Fusion chips with the Fusion sandwich might be flavour overload, but I'm willing to take that risk. They also have a great selection of iced teas, a coffee station and refrigerators packed with cold drinks, so there are plenty of choices to go with your food. But what REALLY makes Mozzo special is the team. This place can get busy -- and for good reason -- but even when there's a line, these guys absolutely crank. There always seems to be a whole crew working behind the counter, and they operate like clockwork. Orders are moving, food is coming out, everyone knows what they're doing, and somehow they're still friendly while doing it. That says a lot about how well this place is managed. The manager is absolutely fantastic, the staff are always friendly, and after coming here for years, my wife and I are always treated like family. For my main course, I ordered the sirloin steak that came with a side of potatoes and arugula. The steak was cooked medium as I requested. It had a great flavor and was absolutely delicious. I chose not to finish it off so I could save a room for dessert. For dessert, I ordered the peach cobbler. It was a ample portion of warm peach cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Again they knocked it out of the park. Everything about this experience was five star from the service to the food. Everyone was so nice. Since it was our first visit here, they even provided a small gift of a mug with some socks inside of it. If you are in Charleston and have the opportunity, definitely come here for dinner.

Delicious and quality of product deserves a 5 star. However, expect to wait 45-1 hour even if calling ahead. They lack an efficiently method of prioritizing to go's and balancing walk ups. Order taker has to walk in the back for everything even pre-wrapped muffin and a black coffee. Those items should be readily available and easy for her to distribute. We experienced prepared, wrapped and ready to go (muffins, breads, pastries, parfaits) taking 30 minutes to get. To go orders or call ahead orders stand in the same line to receive their item - as did the walk-ups. This slows down distribution even further. Half orders are passed out like bingo. It's disappointing and frustrating waiting for the rest of the order to be filled. I wish them well but expect they won't survive if they don't adapt and become more efficient with their service process. read more

I waited for several minutes, sweated my ass off in the this sweat box of a coffee house, got my order wrong, then they slung it into a to-go box upside down, and served it to me while giving me a shitty grin. Coffee is not their strong suit. I asked for a latte, and it was cold, dripping from the cup, and incredibly weak. I expected more from this brand new sparking place. As a parent, this place is great to let your kids play while you can enjoy a cup of coffee and a bite to eat. The vintage truck/slide is adorable and this place has great decor all around. My only complaint is that the food and drinks are a little overpriced or what you get. The food is good, just pricey for small portions. I found a dread lock in my Vintage Breakfast Sandwich. I told the head chef - and she told me to eat it anyways. Even the owner had wet hair (ew take a shower).
