Two ladies were working there when we came in. I have never tried acai bowls before and the girl on the register made me try the acai base and mango base so I could order one that I would prefer more, she was so helpful! Im so sad I didnt get her name. I ended up ordering the Nutella acai bowl with strawberries and bananas. The granola they use is so good!! My absolute favorite açaí bowl stop. I love this one and the one on King Street. They knock the competition out of the water around here. Firstly. You get an enormous bowl filled to the brim with base and toppings. Secondly their granola is fantastic stays so crunchy despite all the fruit and açaí. Thirdly the options! My fat the largest and most diverse menu for bowls anywhere around. The staff was so friendly and I absolutely love the interior decor. Zero complaints read more

Playa Bowls are always good, but I have to say the customer service at this location is the first time I've experienced such negativity... it wasn't busy, yet we were ignored for the first ten minutes from when we walked in to when the young lady finally came to take our order, even though she clearly saw us. I noticed everyone else that came in after us, she and another young lady who came out from the back also ignored. And while one of them was preparing the bowls, she kept staring customers down and giving them dirty looks and it was just really odd. Someone else pointed it out because it was all so confusing. Took about 20 minutes to get our bowl even though there wasn't a line and it wasn't busy. But the quality of the bowls were delicious as always. I'll keep coming back for that, but I do prefer the downtown location because at least the staff is much friendlier! read more

I'm new to this area and im usually local to a "palm berries" and i would 100% wiuld tell you to go there instead of here because i got my order and i had to take it to go, so i drove about 10 minutes with the AC blasting. Once i get back to where i was staying, i start to open it up and it's literally soup. The açaí base had melted and left me with all my toppings in this açaí soup that i know i didn't just pay 15 dollars for. So highly dont recommend. read more

Was excited to get the acai bowl for lunch. Unfortunately, their fruit is not fresh it was very old fruit figure a $15 bowl. The least thing you can do is test your fruit in the morning and make sure it's fresh to sell for your customer. I end up throw all the fruit away because it's already rotten. BIG bowls with tasty bases and loaded with toppings! The consistency and flavor of the bases (açaí, green, banana, pitaya, and coconut) are on point. My favorite is the creamy sweet indulgence of the coconut base mixed with the freshness and slight sweetness of pitaya. There's so much granola and fruit on top that you don't have to worry about getting a spoonful of smoothie only. All that to say- the smoothie bowls are fantastic here. You can also customize any bowl and choose more than one base on the menu. The service was great! Expect to wait a few minutes because they are hand making each custom order but it's so worth it. The staff was so friendly and happy we were there. In short, I felt valued and appreciated!! The venue itself is so cute. They have the cutest outdoor patio with regular tables, high tops, lawn chairs, and a waterfall. The inside has smoothie bar seating as well as regular tables. The walls are all painted with beautiful murals and it's just a cute theme overall. It looked very clean inside. They also have an open parking lot so no need to worry about paying for parking or parallel parking! I'm so happy they opened this location in Mt Pleasant!!! This place has good bowls but not sure what is happening here. The place is absolutely disgusting. Tables are never cleaned and if there are cleared from trash and dropped granola bits they are sticky as Baskin Robbins ice cream parlors. The children that work there are clueless and mostly on their phones. One time we sat there for 15mins and the 3 girls were just looking at their phones as our order went unmade. We are going to return a few more times and maybe this review with wake the owner up and do some housecleaning. read more

Maybe it's the best Açaí bowls in the area, if so, that's disappointing. I've tried this place twice because people rave about it. Both times I ended up throwing mine out. My Açaí was mostly ice chips and didn't have any flavor. If anyone can suggest somewhere else that would be great. read more
