    Choco Bowl
    John B.

There are several places in Charleston that offer acai bowls, but this place specializes in them. There are several menu options, but I noted that everyone else just seemed to customize theirs. Remove this, add that, and apparently that works. Given that they charge a lot for these bowls, I suppose they ought to be open to customizing. I couldn't resist the chocolate one, though I was a bit disappointed that I ended up with chocolate chips instead of nibs. However, it was delicious either way. You certainly could not accuse them of skimping on the Nutella topping, but there was also plenty of fruit in there. And despite a decent crowd, my bowl was ready quickly. It wasn't so good as to blow me away, and if anything I'd like to see a little bit more in the nut and seed direction, but for someone seeking a fruity indulgence, you can get a fix here.

Love this spot! The Boujee bowl is my favorite. I think the portion size is super generous too compared to other açaí spots in the area. The service is always quick and it's a nice ambiance. I wish there were more seating options though.

Absolutely love this place. Cannot beat the prices or quality on this açaí anywhere in Charleston. And they offer a large size which is so good for a meal replacement. A must try for sure!!!

I'm so glad I finally went here. I had been meaning to come for a while because I have seen my coworkers get the bowls for lunch and was super peanut butter and jealous. So I finally went after work. I got the choco bowl because chocolate, and it did not disappoint. It was so yummy, and I didn't feel too guilty about eating. I felt like I was eating dessert. It was very rich, so if you don't like intense chocolate flavor you may opt for a different bowl. My coworker recommended the peanut butter bowl so I may try that one next time. The gal at the counter was very friendly, and my bowl was made to order very quickly. The inside was nice, but there isn't really anywhere to sit. May be intentional due to covid. Definitely will return!

Absolutely delicious açaí bowl, & vegan friendly! Friendly and knowledgeable staff! I ordered the Boujee bowl, This is made with Açaí blend, granola, raspberries, banana, blueberries, coconut, chia seeds, hemp hearts, bee pollen, cacao nibs, peanut butter, honey drizzle. Of course to make it vegan and fit with my allergies. I asked for no coconut, bee pollen or honey drizzle, they were very accommodating! My only regret is ordering cacao nibs I asked the guy if it was chocolate and he said no but didn't tell me what it was so I just decided to try it but unless you know what they are and like the taste of them don't order them (or order on the side)... they are crunchy and very bitter. Can't wait to be back!

Amazing acai bowls!!! Such generous portions and lovely people working there. I heard about this place through the KC Double Take bloggers. Will be visiting again next time I'm in town! Highly recommend.

kind of customized my order a little bit, but the people are so nice at Tres Palmas they always get me what I ask for!

Great service, big portions, friendly staff, average açaí with crappy plastic spoon. I hope they get new spoons.

One of my favorite açaí places. The boujee bowl is the way to go if you're a peanut butter person.

There were so many to choose from!! I decided on the High Tide bowl and Bek built her own. I figured I'd trust their chef and am glad I did! My bowl was absolutely fresh and delicious! They are served with a mignonette, which isn't my favorite, I should have asked for cocktail sauce z but I just slurped them down "naked" and they were fabulous. We also had the hushpuppy tots - the butter these come with is the perfect compliment. Hubs had the Sullivan fried platter, so good, it includes fried green tomatoes - YUM! And coleslaw that reminds me of Jewish delis from my childhood, but finely shredded. I had the fish tacos which were swordfish today, the salsa on there is perfect with the fish. Cocktails were good and if you've ever been to the BVI, the best painkiller that's not there, they even use Pusser's Rum. I can't wait to go back to try more of the menu.

We have been to Sullivan's three times, and its been a very mixed experience. The one constant is…read moreservice that is often slow or poorly timed with the bar service being the biggest issue. There is a lot to love about this restaurant - location, an upscale/beachy/comfortable vibe and food that can be exceptional. We are big fans of the sister restaurant Post House where we regularly visit. It is a tale of two restaurants. The Post House executes with precision, service is exceptional and the food is unwaveringly wonderful. Not the same with Sullivan's Fish Camp. Execution inconsistent - On one visit, our food took 45 minutes (was 2/3 full at best and no-one outside) - We were given fries gratis in recognition of the wait. Even at that visit at the bar, it took too much time to get our drinks. A recent visit (3/11/26), it took 20 minutes to get our drink order, and our food arrived shortly after. The server was attentive and mostly sympathetic, but sort of dismissed it as normal. The principle reason for the 3 rating is a service rating of 2 over these visits. The food is generally exceptional. For this dinner, we had their roasted squash which was absolutely amazing. They were out of a few dishes. We had a special tile fish on a root purée and an arugula and mushroom topping that was exceptional... but just warm at best. Execute. Food could be a 5, but it is a 4. The good news it can be addressed!
