We went for happy hour and it was fantastic. The drinks were truly craft cocktails, so pretty and tasted so good! The service was phenomenal and the interior design of the place is so cute. It's perfect for photos (I wish I had taken more, but we were having too much fun trying our drinks)
I feel like I'm a Barbie girl should be playing when you enter this establishment. The ultimate girly girl's dream. An explosion of pink, flowers, cocktails and snacks. Pink and flowers are my jam. The decor is beautiful and stunning! So pretty and whimsical. I would reserve this space for a birthday party or a girl's night out. Great ice cream, shakes, drinks and charcuterie. Excited to try the entrees next.
Dulce reminds me of the song "Life Could Be Sweet" by Ayla D'lyla and Miss Madelaine! It's so fresh, poppy, and pleasing to the eye! I wanted everything on the menu from the churros to the cocktails! There's something for all ages which is great for the community plus the hours have a wide range. I run into the problem of local coffee shops closing around 4pm but now found a local spot to support! The interior is ultra girly which speaks to my soul - love the velvet seating and light fixtures. When ya walk in there's 2 areas to order, just depends on what you're looking for. If it's cocktails - head to the bar! For everything else like sweet and savory food, it's by the ice cream display. Once you pay, you're given a vibrating disk that alerts when the order is ready. You can sit anywhere, don't worry about the "reserved" signs - in fine print it says reserved for patrons so that's fine once you're all ordered. I got the Cuban sandwich which had a nice side salad with lemony vinaigrette dressing. For my cocktails I wasn't sure what I wanted - they all sounded so delightful! Maria helped me out and suggested if you're into blueberries, the Juliette is the way to go! I loved the lightness of the foamy top. The next one I knew I had to try thanks to seeing some snazzy photos on Yelp: the cherry blossom (I'm a sucker for cotton candy and glitter!). The splash of Prosecco curbed the overly sweet taste which I liked, went down nicely. I truly can't wait to try more goodies at Dulce! The ice cream will be superb in the coming summer months and the espresso drinks will be a much-needed pick-me-up for the late afternoons. I noticed they're quite busy so the extra staff would benefit from that by feeling less stress. I can imagine a new spot like Dulce getting loads of attention because it's such a unique spot. Keep up the good work!

Also, don't forget the main reason you're there--the food and drinks! There are a great variety of sweet treats, yummy eats, and picture-worthy sips at Dulce. For my first visit, I had the Pesto Panini. Mom had the Skinny Omelette. We also enjoyed the Fuego and Cherry Blossom and shared a mimosa flight. I'm so glad this is an option near home, and I know it will be super popular. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Such an adorable aesthetic this place has. You can order a whole part of churros with different dipping sauces. They also have breakfast lunch and dinner items as well as a cocktail bar with some very fun drinks on the menu. They also have coffee. I had an espresso when it was very good.
There is so much potential for the place but it missed the mark. The food was okay but the service was horrible. We did not even receive a smile or a hello. The açaí bowl we ordered was literally in a plastic bowl. The food is just too expensive for the workers to not be kind and our food to come out in the plastic still. It is also self serving so you have to throw away your own trash and walk up to order, but the employees still expect a 20% tip. The decor is getting old and worn as well. A few changes and this place could be great. I will not be returning though.
Dulce was so cute and charming. A cute venue in Mt pleasant with girly accents. This was the perfect space to host the Bridgerton event and I was so in love with the decor. The themed party had everybody dressed in their best attire and looking quite regal. The staff were all smiles and the owner was most helpful with all our needs. I got to connect with awesome people here and try fabulous drinks and sweets while being cute in my dress and tiara. I will certainly come back when I'm in the mood for something sweet!
Great restaurant, very much geared towards instagrammability. The milkshakes were great- although there are no photos, I wasn't aware these were "fancy" milkshakes. Definitely only need 1 for 2 people. They have lots of ice cream and sorbet options as well as other desserts that look great. I'll return to try some other items on the menu.
My husband had brought home some delicious chocolate covered cake balls from here for my birthday not too long ago. They were delicious but this past weekend I was able to go in person. What a treat! It is so cute inside. I loved the atmosphere and the service I received was excellent. All the ladies working were friendly and helpful even though it was very busy with a huge line. I had a scrumptious churro sundae. I'll definitely be back to try more desserts and the cocktails that looked fabulous.
Dulce Ice Cream is a true gem tucked into the unassuming Walmart strip mall in North Mt. Pleasant. Don't let the location fool you--what this place lacks in flashy signage, it makes up for in flavor, charm, and serious scoop artistry. I wasn't impressed with Dulce. I had a matcha latte which was quite bad and watery. The savory crepe wasn't that great either. It was just meh, needed some flavor to it. The restaurant itself is very aesthetic. I think they out too much effort into the aesthetics and forgot to add it to the food read more

Cutest place ever! Whoever designed it was very creative! A very welcome addition to North Mt Pleasant! Desserts, gelato, shakes, churros, alcohol, etc.... They do have a few kinks to work out which is why I gave them four stars instead of five. In my opinion, they need to work on training their staff better to be more welcoming, polite and helpful. There was no rhyme or reason to the line to order, it can be very confusing. They don't point out the water station and napkins which could be very helpful. Lastly, the tables were very dirty and needed to be cleaned. The outside tables as well needed wiping. On the positive side, gelato was some of the best I've ever had as was the caramel cookie butter cake. Will definitely be back, hoping they work on the few issues. read more

And finally an Instagram spot in Mount Pleasant, but one that's delicious too!!! This place is Oh so pretty! Shades of pink, ivory and green adorn this cute cafe. Walls of flowers with neon quotes line the walls all ready for you to pose and take that selfie! There's even a wall with a swing. How cute! The decor is to die for. It's just so pretty, everywhere. The food is great too! I had a grilled panini with chicken and pesto and it was delicious. There is a limited main meal menu; the focus is on the sweet treats. The best thing I enjoyed was the latte flight, a trio of three flavored iced lattes. I had lavender, hazelnut and caramel. Absolutely delicious! There are lots of ice cream flavors to choose from and an entire churro menu. I have to go back to try some of these things! I'm so excited we have this cute cafe at Oakland. It's nice to have somewhere to go like this. My only tip for the owners would be to have late hours on Friday and Saturday perhaps. There is literally no where to go for desserts and coffee or just a late night weekend hangout, except for a few bars. Closing closer to midnight would be awesome! Just a thought!!! As seen on local social media, this place is definitely the "instagrammable spot." From the interior design to the utensils, you can tell that they were all carefully picked in order to create this trendy experience for you. Very kid and family friendly here. My friend and I ordered the classic churros and filled churros. Classic churros - Overall, they were ok. I think I personally like my churros on the thicker side so that I can taste the softness inside the churros. They were very crunchy. I added the chocolate dipping sauce. I was expecting a more creamy chocolate texture, like the ones I have tried in Spain, but instead, I got a more artificial looking and tasting sauce. Filled Churros - The churros are filled with dulce de leche. I actually enjoyed eating this with the strawberry dipping sauce. This is definitely just my personal taste, but I would've preferred to see actually small bowls being used for the sauces vice plastic cups. Would be more environmentally friendly and makes the dish look more presenting and not cheap looking. This goes for the coffee cups as well (if not to-go). Overall, service and food was ok. I think the only thing that the place does great is to get your photos and videos for Instagram. read more

My friends and i stumbled upon this place by accident & we were not let down! The guy at the bar was amazing & was willing to put his own little spin on any drink! I know the bar isn't the focus of the place but if you're ever in line to grab some ice cream, I would for sure recommend snagging a drink if you're looking for a cool place to try a new sweet cocktail:) and let's not forget the appeal of this place, i mean come on it is TOO cute in there! read more

A friend brought me a cup cake from here. The cake itself was dry and crumbly. The icing seemed crisco based, didn't seem butter or creamy and no flavor profile. Very lack luster bland cupcake. We did not finish it between the two of us. (Noted it notes, pull the bottom off and place it on top of the icing to make a samich). read more

Wasn't the best experience. Will come back as I heard they are pretty new. The views and decor are excellent. The service was kinda slow and items kept getting forgotten as many people kept coming back to get their items. I had to ask for my coffee a few times. The churros were really really dry and stale and tasted old, or maybe bad oil was used. Either way, I'd love to come back once they are up and running better! Oh- price could be better. I went to Dulce with my boyfriend a few months ago and we both had a blast!! The customer service was stellar, as we had some conversations with one of the bartenders during our time there. The interior decor inside the place was absolutely adorable and cozy! The cherry blossoms and LED lighting made for a great hangout spot. Last but not least, the food and drinks were top tier! I had myself the Paradise drink and my boyfriend had the Cajeta. We both enjoyed our drinks so much and we were tempted to try more! In addition we had these amazing pesto sandwiches that went perfectly with our special drinks. We both plan on coming back to Dulce here soon to try more of their drinks and food. This is a place that should be on everyone's radar if they want something sweet to eat or a place to drink and hang out. read more

I stopped by for an ice-cream fix and wasn't disappointed! This is definitely the best ice-cream shop in Mount Pleasant. I tried the chocolate and blueberry ice cream, both rich flavors! I'll definitely return just for the ice cream. The interior design is quite bold (pink and flowery -- or, in one of the bathrooms, neon blue and flowery) which isn't comfortable to me, but I appreciated the covered outdoor seating. read more

Seriously what Mount Pleasant needed. A one stop shop for food, artisanal drinks, desserts and amazing ice cream. The menu boasts Mexican style ice cream served in a variety of options like a bubble waffle cone or taiyaki fish cone. They offer a stocked bar with spiked milkshakes and an adorable atmosphere to go along with it. We ordered a churro sundae with mexican hot chocolate and peppermint ice cream, topped with nutella, cookie dough and a delicious churro. There are so many options on this menu I will definitely be back to try more. The only downside to this visit was the missing house-made popsicles. We would have loved to try one but the case was empty. read more

I thought the service was great, all the staff was great! They were kind and patient with us. The decoration is obviously very very cute and gorgeous, the attention to detail makes it such a fun environment to be in. The ice cream flavor and choices were vast and great! Lots of food items and a huge alcoholic dessert bar option as well. What I was a little disappointed about was how thick their crepes were- I'm used to thinner crepes that aren't super cakey and chewy. But the Nutella and fruits were very fresh. Lastly, the churros were a bit dried out and very doughy- not light and airy the way I imagined them to be. But hey- this might something you actually enjoy, to each their own. But I still recommend coming for the environment, the Instagram worthy pics, and the wonderful sweets. I loved that nothing was absurdly sweet or overwhelming. Also a great mix of savory options as well. Definitely check them out! read more

Stopped in today for the first time to get my daughter who just got braces a milkshake. The space is stunning so beautiful puts you in a great mood just walking in. So many cute details, bright and airy. My daughter loved the shake took a peak at someone's crepes they looked amazing we will be back soon and often. Service was great Thanks again read more
