This didn't disappoint!!! It was a suggestion to Eggs & Things and the family of was delicious. You can't go wrong. The French Toast, the Nutella Waffle, and pancakes will keep you coming back. Kudos to Morgan for giving us excellent service. Eating in front of Waikiki Beach adds to the ambience and experience. read more

Always outstanding, a joy for breakfast. The only negative is that it is so good that you have to wait.

Yummy local Hawaiian food with a great vibe. Open windows facing the beach and nice servers. Very fast service too. Lots of customers but they pump them out pretty quickly! read more

Bryson was awesome! He gave us great recommendations and really took care of our group. Get the Loco Moco!!!! I cannot state this enough. We made the mistake of going to other touristy Loco Moco spots and the Loco Moco here just blew it out of the park. If you're feeling indulgent, the Mac pancakes, Mochi Waffles, and cappuccinos will hit the spot. The price here is extremely fair for the area the restaurants in and the quality of the food was superior to other places. read more

Everything is delicious, all food is awesome, have been there about 10 times in 3 trips, only one this is it's better to join line online because wait is usually about 40 minutes so keep that in mind but it's worth it read more

I debated how many stars to give. Five stars for the food and definitely less stars for the wait. It is a smaller restaurant so there isn't a large amount of seating. I waited 75 minutes. I should have driven to another location with a shorter wait but had already invested some wait time already. However the service is really quick. My food was out approximately 5 minutes after the order was placed. The pineapple mochi waffles were perfectly cooked with a crispy exterior and chewy interior. The scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection. Our server was really friendly. He also took pictures for us without asking. read more

Food good, service - very good. Prices done. Coffee - very good. Like you can check-in thru Yelp, but the sign was hidden so we had extra wait. Staff outside to bring guests in for seating but not there long enough to see and ask questions. They did have menus so you can look ahead. There was a table for 4 but we had 2. We had our backs to the water. A couple said they had 4 but were really a 2 with a chair for a purse. Need to be consistent. read more

The food was great. However our waiter Kent made the experience so much better. Thanks for a great breakfast.

So delicious. Worth the wait. It's a small place so that's why you have to wait. Food comes fast without sacrificing quality or taste

Food was incredible. The portions were large. Kent our server was fantastic! The location was excellent with a beach view.

Ordered Ribeye steak & eggs. The thinnest ribeye ever was served. Lots of grisle, very chewy. Not soft & tender like a ribeye. read more

My hubby and I visited this restaurant during our trip to Hawaii. There was a long wait but we were able to add our names to the waitlist through the Yelp app which I highly recommend. Very friendly staff and our waitress was excellent. My food was delicious however my husband had the pork chop breakfast and the pork chop was a bit dry. It is located across from the beach and we had a view of the beach. I recommend this place and will visit again. read more

Island vacation during the Thanksgiving Holiday. Definitely a great move. Considering the amount of visitors to the island was probably 50% less than usual, this also cut the wait time down I'm sure. How long was the wait? Estimated 45 minutes. How long did it really take? 22 minutes How big was our group? Party of 5 How was the service? Okay. We were crammed into a tiny booth that prolly fits 4 when there was 5 of us. You can imagine what room that left for the plates when the arrived to the table. Coffee service was pretty fast though. Like most breakfast diners, they're pullin up with the pot to top off like there's no tomorrow. How was the food? Exceptional. Be warned. You May never return to your local pancake house again. Nothing will ever be the same When in Waikiki and feeling for some flapjacks, do not second guess it. Just do it. read more

You want a surfer's breakfast? You've got it right here. Eggs 'n Things is a Hawaiian diner right across the street from the beach. The question is: Can you wait out the quoted usually 60 - 120 minutes during prime breakfast time? I normally balk and walk on, but am glad that my patience was aplenty on this day. The fresh line-caught ahi and eggs caught my eye the second I sat down. The furikake-mac was a great local selection (the other choices were: cajun or sautéed). Hit the spot, as I was craving a savory protein breakfast. I had a few bites of the pancake, which was good but not necessarily a must. And of course, diner coffee always a must! If you've got some patience and time, I recommend this super casual Hawaiian diner. Don't force yourself to wait though; it's not worth it like THAT. read more

What an amazing restaurant with amazing customer service. We ordered chicken and waffles that were beautifully made, decorated with a Hawaiian pineapple and delicious. We were served a complimentary salad with our breakfast order. I also had a few mimosas that was also delicious. I understand why they had a waitlist of approximately an hour. Food was amazing but very long wait to go online and put your name on the wait list. Service was good too.

If you are looking for a breakfast spot in Waikiki, Eggs 'n Things is a great option. You are likely not the only person to think that, and if any place in Waikiki has a long wait time to eat, it's here. I've seen people wait 1.5-2 hours during average/brunch eating time. Pro tip: if you want to try it but don't want to wait, order takeout and eat on the beach.  Most of the time (yes, most), the wait is around an hour to be seated. You can make online reservations or even order online. (I recommend either of those before walking up). They have a few locations, including Waikiki, Saratoga,  Ala Moana,  Ko Olina Menu, and even Guam. They also have an online shop to buy their pancake mix, totes, syrup, and more! Atmosphere: Located on the main strip of Waikiki, Eggs 'n Things is located in a big blue building. It sticks out as a diner. The inside is small. There is a touchpad outside where you add your name to the waitlist. I have seen a few restaurants in Waikiki do this now. One of the big reasons Eggs 'n Things in Waikiki is so popular is the beautiful ocean view. If you're lucky to get a window table, you'll have a great beach view for your entire meal. While in Hawaii we went to Eggs n' Things but the second time, we got takeout. We didn't really feel like we were missing anything with takeout and the food was still the same as eating in the restaurant (seriously have you been to a restaurant where the food is not great for takeout but so good while dining in? I know I have...).  Food: I was excited to try the Eggs 'n Things menu. As the name suggests, they are known for their eggs and other breakfast items. A few Eggs 'n Things menu items that caught my eye: Plantation pork chop & eggs with grilled pineapple on top. Rainbow pancakes with fresh fruit and whipped cream on top. The morning wrap with a choice of bacon, turkey bacon, spam, ham, or Portuguese sausage SPAM & green onion omelet (I had no idea SPAM was still popular until I came to Hawaii). Ultimately I decided on the rainbow pancakes, and I'm glad I did. The pancakes came with fresh fruit and whipped cream. They are not the most enormous pancakes I've had (especially for $20), but they taste good--some of the better pancakes I've had at a diner. My only complaint is they are kind of small for $20.  Service: The Eggs 'n Things staff are always busy. But it's a well-oiled machine, and we received our food fast. Cost: $ For my rainbow pancakes, it was $20. Everything in Hawaii is more expensive, and compared to other diners, this was a tiny portion of pancakes for $20. But it tasted good. Would I Come Back? I like Eggs 'n Things, and they are one of the best breakfast places in Waikiki. Remember, you'll be waiting long to get seated if you come during regular breakfast/brunch hours. Are Eggs 'n Things worth it? Yes. Hopefully, you'll even be lucky enough to get an ocean view. read more
