Food is delish and service was great as well! Going back for seconds before we leave. The French toast is amazing!!

Food always amazing. Always busy so our wait was about 40 minutes for a table. But, food was amazing as per the norm. Went with someone who was in HNL for the first time, so she thoroughly enjoyed the pancakes with whipped cream, strawberries, and macadamia nuts dressed in coconut syrup, also the pineapple, lilikoi, and guava juice. My favorite is the portuguése sausage, rice eggs and pancakes. The ambience was local style cute. I appreciate the smiles and not being rushed. A must go eat in Hawaii. read more

Service was quick. Food was alright. Very long wait during peak breakfast time. Would suggest eating elsewhere to avoid the wait.

Had to make a reservation on Yelp and it was accurate and kept you up to date through text on your wait time. This location is small and located in a hotel. Food was good and worth the wait. Server was friendly and helpful even though it was busy. read more

Eggs 'n Things, perched invitingly across from Kūhiō Beach in Waikīkī, is a charming throwback to the classic American diner experience, flavored with a dash of Hawaiian aloha. With a seating capacity of 47, the restaurant offers a cozy yet bustling atmosphere that caters to a steady stream of locals and tourists alike. The nine booths and several two-tops provide a snug, casual dining setting. Open from 6a-1p. Founded in 1974, this venerable establishment has carved out a beloved niche in the local dining scene, serving up hearty breakfasts and brunches with a friendly smile. Be prepared for a wait--an hour or more after check-in is typical--but the wait is a testament to the diner's enduring popularity and of its fare. The menu at Eggs 'n Things is an homage to classic breakfast staples. While not gluten-free friendly, the offerings cater to a wide audience, featuring eggs in every style imaginable and their Portuguese sausage, which, despite not being gluten-free, is a culinary delight that should not be missed. The portions are generous, with omelets large enough to satisfy even the heartiest appetites, making them perfect for sharing. What the restaurant may lack in sophisticated décor, it more than compensates for with its picturesque views. Diners can enjoy a meal while soaking in the scenic beauty of Kūhiō Beach, making it an ideal spot for tourists seeking a relaxed, unfussy dining experience. In essence, Eggs 'n Things delivers good food with a side of genuine hospitality. It's a place where the simplicity of the setting is eclipsed by the warmth of its people and the comforting flavors of its menu. For a taste of timeless diner charm with a Hawaiian twist, this Waikīkī staple is a nice place for some. (It's a Denny's with a beach view.) read more

This spot worked out really well for us as a party of 6 dealing with the time change coming from the East coast. They open at 6:00 AM and the line starts that early. If you are fewer than six people, you can add yourself to the waitlist starting at 6 AM from Yelp. You can also add yourself to the waitlist when you arrive. If you were six or more, you'll have to work with staff to get a table. When we arrived at 6:30 AM, we had about a 30 minute wait. Our server was great! And, service is quick! The menu has a ton of options ranging from to savory. As for a vegetarian, the savory options are a bit limited. I had the breakfast burrito. Others in my group had pancakes and the omelette. Everyone enjoyed their food! read more

Favorite breakfast place in Waikiki beach!! We went twice during our trip! Had to order the same thing because it was so delicious! Service is great! This place gets busy but wait list goes quick! Food was delicious and served was lovely. Long wait but only be tots so popular. They kept the line moving super fast. Robust take out business if you don't want to wait to eat. The food was delicious and the service was very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant

The food was yummy and we loved being able to put ourselves on the waitlist via Yelp. We added ourselves to the list from our hotel and by the time we walked over, it was our turn to be seated. The service was quick and our waitress Morgan was awesome. read more

This place is tiny and the wait time is long (it was Sunday morning, so I do understand) but the food was mediocre & our waiter was rude. Definitely not worth the hour wait time, best to go somewhere else. read more

Was the first time I tried it. The food was great, they have limited seating but the food is worth it.

Quick in and out. Pretty straight forward when making reservation. Highly recommended to do it though the yelp app and arrive on time. They are really good about communicating when your table is ready so please communicate back if you re running a few mins late or if you're not going to make it. They give you a chance to look at the menu prior to being seated because this place gets packed. Now time for the food... we ordered the pineapple waffles and that's was great but what was better than that was their special. At the time it was ube mac pancakes. Something so simple but yet so tasty. The other food items in my photo I wasn't able to try. This location was right on the Main Street with the beach so our view was amazing. So worth the wait. Cannot wait to go back. Mahalo read more

Food is EXCELLENT, but service is very slow. We were kind of in a hurry so it was a little frustrating but the food is definitely worth it. Just plan on going on a day you are NOT in a hurry. It's amazing food. read more

Kind of over priced in my opinion for the quality. Tried eating here 3 days in a row and were constantly turned away due to host closing the waitlist 3 hours before closing because they were just "too full". When we were finally able to eat here our experience was extremely rushed and we we're probably out in less than 30 minutes. I would try some other places before going here. Presentation was great but the pancakes themselves had no flavor and were quite dry. read more

Great food and menu selection at an excellent location for watching the beach and surfers while you eat.

Everything was fantastic! The Portuguese sausage had just the right balance of seasoning and savoriness, making every bite satisfying. And the pancakes? Fluffy, buttery, and perfectly golden--an absolute must-try. Eggs 'n Things definitely delivers on both flavor and quality! read more

Good breakfast spot right across the street from Waikiki beach, in order to get on the waitlist, they have you sign in on a tablet that directs you to their Yelp page, here is where you can see where you are in the order queue. I went on a Friday morning at 8:00am and wait time was roughly 30 minutes. If you know you are going to eat here, I highly suggest signing in as soon as you are heading to the restaurant. As far as the food goes, we ordered a French toast with berries plate and the Kalbi n eggs plate, I originally opted for the orange juice but my waiter named Bryson suggested Lilikoi (passion fruit) and it was so much better than I expected. Only downside I can say about this place is that it is a small place read more

Food is good and the staff is fantastic. Very reasonably priced. I've come here many times and everything is always consistent.

Come back every visit! Been here several times. I could suggest checking in or adding your name to the yelp list prior to arrival. Attached to Aston Waikiki Circle. The service is always warm and inviting, the food's portion size is a great bang for your buck! Can't beat what feels like "unlimited"Kona coffee! Keith is attentive but not the "hover" kind and each team member does a good job of making their rounds even when that's "not their table"... also. The view isn't too shabby! There was already a line out to the sidewalk today before 6:50am! We could have gotten in, but I opted to wait 40 minutes for a table by the window. Beautiful beach front view! The kids had the chocolate chip and plain pancakes. As a mom, of course I finished their food. The pancakes were delicious! I ordered the crab cakes Benedict with potatoes. It was tasty, but filling. I could only finish one ( although so magically had an appetite for pancakes!) My husband had the loco moco, also tasty. Prices are very reasonable. All 4 of us got drinks and our total was under $60. read more

Overall a good local diner on the Waikiki Beach strip with ocean view. We suggest placing your name on the Yelp! waitlist as soon as you decide this is the place for breakfast. There is already a line 10 deep at the early hour of 7 am. On the first visit (yea, we came multiple times!) I got the loco moco, a local Hawaiian favorite for either breakfast or lunch. I got the fried rice (instead of steamed rice), which I sort of regret. The fried rice was a bit too salty. The gravy on top of that only made it saltier. Otherwise, a good choice. On the second visit, I got the spam and green onion omelette. This was good too. This time I made sure to get white rice :-). The other options were potatoes or pancakes. I did try my aunt's pancakes, which were denser than a typical pancake found on the mainland. She suspects that a touch of rice flour is used. It was good! Service was super friendly and quick. If you are lucky enough to get a window seat, they open out onto a beautiful view of Waikiki Beach. read more

I ordered the açaí bowl, and unfortunately, it was overwhelmingly like artificial sugar or fake honey. I mentioned this to the server when she asked, and then the manager came over to address the issue. However, instead of being helpful or understanding, the manager was incredibly rude, asking, "What do you want to do?" in a dismissive tone. I told him to either take it away or handle it however he thought best, but he just walked off without further conversation. The lack of customer service and unprofessionalism left me extremely disappointed. read more

What make this place so special is the food and its straight to the point approach. None of the places here around here in Waikiki serve only just breakfast. To be honest. It's just like IHOP or anything else but what makes it so popular is its homemade style cooking. Service is very efficient, quick and fast. Ambiance is like a local joint that serve breakfast all day. We decided to try a couple popular things on the menu like the loco moco and the sausage and eggs and they all are very tasty and satisfying. The wait can be exhausting so make your online reservation early. Highly recommended read more

Our waitress Giselle was amazing! She was super personable and made sure we were cared for. There's a bit of a wait so I advise getting on the list online ahead of time. The food was bomb! Eggs 'n Things is a chain, with a location even in Japan. The restaurant had ocean theme decor on the building. It perfectly complemented its location just across the street from the beach. While they offer a unique breakfast selection. I had pancakes topped with mixed fruits. The fruits were generous but the taste was on the sour side which overpowered the overall taste. Given the busy atmosphere, the delay in my takeout order was anticipated. Overall, it was an okay experience. However, if you're a beach lover, the convenience of grabbing food here is a definite plus. read more

1st time visiting Hawaii. Upon our arrival to the airport, I asked our Uber driver what was his recommendation in where to have breakfast. He told us to stop by Eggs n Things. It's a small restaurant with a lot of business. Have patience because it's a long waiting list. We waited for approximately 1 hour and it was worth it. I highly recommended it. read more
