The location is perfect In Waikīkī. Friendly staff. Delicious food. I had Portuguese sausage, scramble eggs, potatoes, and a shot stack of pancakes. They made the best tasting POG we drank in Hawaii. Extremely well priced. read more

Warm, friendly service. Food was out quick and delicious! Would recommend using "Waiting Line" service as this location is constantly busy with waiting times often an hour or more. read more

Food is absolutely delicious, everything that I've tried has been good. Make sure to ask for the coconut syrup! The service was fine, nice servers but they're always on the move since this place is so busy. Be prepared to wait an hour or more. I highly recommend joining the waitlist on Yelp an hour or so before you're ready to eat. They only have like 10 or so tables, so not a ton of room for seating people. Overall though, would definitely recommended trying it! Food is so tasty. read more

Not sure why this place has only 3.5 stars. During our stay, we had breakfast here twice. It was a wait to get a table but the food was worth the wait. The staff was also super attentive. We had the acai waffle and florentine benedicts on day 1 and mochi waffle and meat and eggs breakfast on day 2. All 4 items were excellent. Loved the waffles as well as the potatoes that came as side for the eggs. read more

The staff was very accommodating and Morgan W had great suggestions. After we were seated, Kent came over to welcome us. The food was amazing! I had Hawaiian Sweet Bread French Toast w/Bananas, Coconut, Whipped Cream & Macadamia Nut with a side of scrambled eggs and mozzarella cheese! For someone who wasn't hungry, my husband tore up his Belgium waffle w/Blueberries, whipped cream & Macadamia Nuts. Perfect view of the beach and people watching while waiting for food. If you're looking for a great food, this is the place to go. Turnover is fast and efficient yet friendly and inviting! We will definitely return! read more

Great service great food and good ambiance servers greeted us upon arrival and were very helpful with menu selections. The long wait can be avoided by adding your name to the waitlist on yelp before you leave your hotel read more

Wait was a little long but they move as fast as they can! You can join the waitlist from your phone through yelp before you get there which helps. WORTH THE WAIT! I got the Portuguese sausage and eggs with breakfast potatoes. Potatoes are perfect cooked and crispy. Best ones I've had from a breakfast place and sausage amazing too. Fiancé got the loco moco and liked it more than other places we've tried it at. They add the diced Portuguese sausage to it! The star of the show though the Panasadas! OMG! You absolutely have to get them with the cinnamon sugar they are so amazing and I would come back here just for that. Best "dessert" type thing I've had while in Hawaii for 2 weeks! read more

Great breakfast for a decent price. The portions are big, and could be split. They do rush you in and out because it's so popular, and there is a long wait. I discovered you can check in on yelp which saved us an hour of waiting out front, like we did the first time we ate there. read more

Food was excellent. Service was good (they were pretty busy). Definitely worth the wait (we waited about 25m).

Loco Moco was delicious and filling. French toast with whipped cream and strawberries was a family hit. Worth the wait. 10/10 will eat again. read more

Great breakfast spot in Waikiki, join the Yelp waitlist as the lines can be 2 hours plus Food is excellent, service is not great Another business struggling to find employees 2 items served before the other 2 Thankfully we all shared so it wasn't a huge deal. Great beach views from a lot of seats. read more

I absolutely love Eggs 'n Things. It's reasonably priced and has a lot of options for hearty, normal breakfasts. Nothing crazy or hipster, just good eggs, potatoes, pancakes. And great coffee! Yes, there is always a line. But you can check in on yelp before you even leave your hotel room. If you choose to check in when you arrive you'll probably be waiting an hour. If you time it right (meaning check in at the hotel, then arrive in the window they give you) you'll only have to wait about 20 minutes. What I like about them is that they never make you feel rushed. They bring the food out fast, but will refill your coffee when your plate is empty. read more

We had a breakfast there and recommended by one of the bus driver. After we ordered and I checked the utensils all have food on the back of the forks. If just one I can tolerate (maybe), but all our three forks are dirty. When I ask the waitress to change them. She said" oh, you like some clean forks!" She said it as surprise we like clean forks. I ordered "FRESH pacific Ahi sandwich ". The Ahi looks and taste like had been dead for years. Flies fly around the table. It's not worth your money and time there. After that I wished I had McDonald's fish sandwich instead. read more

Poor service and food sucked I will never go back and the wait was hella long like over an hour

This place is so good!!! The wait is very long though, we waited like an hour and 20 minutes for a party of 4. Aaron and Morgan are super nice, professional and friendly. We got the kimchi fried rice with 3 eggs and the Hawaiian pancake sampler as well as the bacon spinach and cheese omelette. I got the iced sweetened cappuccino and it was really strong and sweet, but was pretty good. The portions are huge too. You guys, what really made this meal for me out of everything was the macadamia nut pancake on our sampler. Absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend this restaurant, make sure to join the Yelp waitlist well before you plan to arrive. read more

We had a great experience when visiting Eggs n Things. Staff were super friendly and the food was delicious! It was a great way to start our first full day in Hawaii with restaurant views of the ocean across the street on a sunny day. We came on a Saturday, it was just a quick walk from our hotel, Alohilani. I ordered the Kalua pig benedict on a taro bun. Highly recommend getting this! Absolutely loved how the flavors blended together and that is the first time I have seen something like that on a menu before! It came with a side dish as well. I chose pancakes for mine, other options are rice, potatoes, or toast. (For an additional cost you can upgrade those side dishes to specialty pancakes or fried rice if interested.) The pancakes were great as well, they were the perfect taste for getting them as is and not upgraded them to a specialty pancake. The breakfast was very filling and a decent price especially for its location. It seems like the majority of people from other reviews took off stars for the wait, but for us we came the first morning around 6:30ish the wait was about 10 mins. My suggestion is getting there around opening if you don't want to wait. If you are traveling from the mainland US than take advantage of the time difference! Hawaii is very early morning friendly. 6am is 11am our time so it was no problem being there early! Adding yourself to the waitlist on Yelp is also an option. Thanks Eggs n Things. I will definitely come back next time I am in Hawaii! read more

First time=Last Time The line, the wait and the food quality do not justify the hype surrounding Eggs & Things in Waikiki. Great portion size, excellent service and extremely reasonable prices are the main advantages of Eggs and Things. I signed up and waited over an hour only to end up with a counter seat facing the wall in an Ocean View restaurant. Now I can say I've been there - and have learned that a long line does not necessarily equate to a five star epicurean experience. Tips: Join wait list early; Adjust your expectations; Request Table - not counter; Enjoy Guava Syrup on your pancakes! read more

This location is across the street from Waikiki and always busy. The interior space is small, so it makes sense why there is a large wait. They have a stand to add your name in, so if you wanted to dine in, the process is simple. I had a large party, so opted to order at the counter for take out. My order was ready in 15 minutes and I took my food across the street and enjoyed on the beach. I ordered the kids sized chocolate chip pancakes and a bacon breakfast burrito. The pancakes order was large enough to feed two small children. The breakfast burrito was also easily split between two adults. The food was responsibly priced for a quick breakfast for a family read more

We came to Eggs n Things for breakfast because we were impressed with their wide selection of options at affordable prices. We came on a Tuesday morning around 9:30am and had to wait about an hour and a half. It wasn't too bad though because we were able to add our name to the Yelp waitlist and then walk around on the beach and to nearby shops while we waited. Like others have said, the wait did end up being long that predicted by about 20 min so we were definitely hungry by the time we got seated. The staff were nice and the food came out very quickly. We ordered the Crab Cake Benedict w/ Potatoes and the Fresh Pineapple Whipped Pancakes. Both were very good and I highly recommend them! Great balance of savory and sweet. They pile the whipped cream onto the pancakes and I didn't mind at all - whipped cream for every bite :) read more

Got on the waitlist on yelp before we got there because there a long wait. And had to find parking and walked so that killed some waiting time. We waited about 15mins to be seated. Small place with a lot of people wanting to eat there. The staff were very efficient and nice. Drinks and food came out pretty fast, I ordered the island fried rice which had good flavor. My husband likes steak and eggs so he got their version Kalbi and eggs with the side of kimchee and he devoured it. Wouldn't order the plantation ice tea again but the POG juice blend was good. read more

We came here three times but the first time was a 2 hour wait and we ended up going somewhere else for breakfast. This was an hour after they open! We went the next morning and got on the wait list and only waited about 45 minutes. Service is quick and friendly. It's small and gets a little warm but they open some windows and you get a nice view of the ocean. Food was good. We ordered a side of bacon but it came out burnt. The replacement came out much better and didn't take long to come out. I ordered chicken and waffles and my husband got the French toast. Both were delicious. We went back the next day closer to right when they opened and only waited about 20 minutes. So hop on the waitlist right away and go right when they open if you don't want to wait long. read more

Great food and service. Highly recommend a visit here. Make a reservation when you know what day that you are going.

I downloaded this app for the first time to write this review. The food and service were among the worst I've ever had. The staff is rude and doesn't care at all about misinforming you on the wait time. The 15 minute projected wait time was laughable. After an hour of waiting, we were finally seated at a cramped table with a chair on the end. When the waitress came to the table the first thing said was "did you have time to review the menu outside and are you ready to order. I get keeping cadence with the customer demand waiting outside, but don't lie to me for an hour about how long I'm still supposed to wait and then immediately rush me before I can move the napkin out of my way. The food was cold and bland. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. read more

Food was great however service was terrible the waiter was so rude and just took out order and left and gave us the bill and said thanks pay in the front not even asking if we wanted anything else and the person bringing us food ignored us when we asked for an extra plate. Food was great, one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had, packed with meat. Servers were Leaving very friendly. As an non-local, my friends and i were initially interested because of the photos of delicious looking food. the wait was long, but we add our self's to the virtual waitlist and sat outside in the large seating area for about an hour. once called you get taken upstairs, everyone was so incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food was amazing (so much so that we went multiple times on our trip). the prices are not outrageous compared to other local restaurants. we STRONGLY recommend Eggs n Things!! read more

Your typical breakfast place. But here in Waikiki, there's always a wait. Good thing, you can put yourself on the waitlist with Yelp. Tuesday morning for breakfast, and with the wait time it was over an hour. Close to hour and half. Once you check in, with everyone else. You just wait in the area until they call you. The hostess guy was really sweet. Even remember my name after our meal was finished. The whole dining area isn't that big hence the long wait time. They have the table/booth as well as a bar counter along the wall. Only thing with bar counter, it seemed pretty tight squeeze. They give you option if you wanted there but once you chose gnatcatcher they remove you off the table list. Breakfast menu is your traditional. Omelets, pancakes, and so on. With the omelette, they make it more like just eggs versus flipping into an omelette. Food was good and service was great. Price wise is great as well. Just be prepared to wait even with being on the waiting list. read more
