    Beef Pho

Clean and roomy. Food was delicious and fresh. Service was friendly and fast. Only down side is street parking, that can be hard to find depending on when you go. I like the order and pay first and then pick a seat.

My favorite place for Pho! I love when I get a business meeting here because I know I will get the best and freshest pho! My coworkers introduced me to this place and I will forever be grateful. The price is so great for how much food you are getting. As for the size, the small is a Lloyd for one person but the large is perfect for sharing!

On the way back from Appleton, I found this place an hour and thirty minutes away from Minnesota. So glad we found this place. I was super hungry and craved for asian food. This place is packed with college kids on a Sunday. Luckily there was a table available. The service was great and they were fast! Pho just needed a little more work with more noodles and less broth. I liked their papaya salad a lot, they added mango which I liked a lot. Overall it was great.

Eating at a nearby park! We came from out of town and wanted to see a bit of the Eau Claire area, and eat local.

As someone driving through from out of town, I passed by Eau Claire and had to try out this restaurant. I was not disappointed! Do yourself a favor and try it out, whether you're a local or visitor. The Cantonese noodles had a very savory taste, and with plenty of fresh vegetables. My boyfriend ordered Green Curry and loved it. We recommend the option to upgrade to sticky rice, too. As for the drinks, we ordered bubble tea and found both lychee and passion fruit flavors to be satisfyingly sweet and very refreshing . We also shared a Thai Iced Coffee, which kept us going during our journey. I wish I could have experienced more of the restaurant, but because of these times, I will have to wait for when it's safe to dine indoors again. In the meantime, at least the food is delicious! Thank you to the owners and staff who make it possible. They even recommended a nice park for us to eat at after. They are rock stars!

We were so excited to find this place on Yelp as we were passing through on our way home from a camping trip. We were determined to do better than standard interstate exit fast food! I had a spring roll to start and it was fresh and delicious! The beef pho was amazing! The broth was clearly well made and needed absolutely no doctoring up with fish sauce and sriracha. The small was plenty large for lunch and a steal at around $5. Service was fast and friendly! This is clearly a great local small business and totally worth the slightly longer drive off the interstate! Trust me...you don't want another burger...you want this.

Been coming here since I was little. Everything on their menu is delicious!! Love the fact they have two sauces that come with their egg rolls. The sauces are so signature, you cannot get it anywhere else. I swear the prices are so reasonable and the portion sizes are huge. I've always loved coming in to dine (before Covid), food always came to our tables so fast!!!!!! I don't know how they do it. Loveeeeeeee this place so much. So happy they've reopened for take out. I have never had a bad experience here. The workers here are the friendliest!! The food here reminds me of good Asian soulfood!!! Egg Roll Plus is the true MVP of downtown it's been in the area for over a decade, I'm pretty sure!! There's nothing like it. If you want the best egg rolls in town, this is the place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to come back and dine in when things are safe! Keep up the good work!

We recently just had Chinese at a place that still left a bad taste in my mouth, and plus I didn't feel like Chinese that much, but there is little to choose from around there, so we decided to go there. Entering the restaurant, there was a younger guy in there who had an airpod in one ear, and was talking to us at the same time. He freaked out about every little Move we made, or if we said anything he would be like "HOLD ON, HOLD ON." He talked really fast, and his mannerisms struck me as a rude person. He wasn't that friendly and he was very rough talking to say the least. To make matters slightly worse, the inside was HOT!!! It felt as hot in that restaurant as it did outside. The ceiling fan inside literally wasn't touching how hot it was and didn't cool anything off. I was sweating so much, and it made it miserable to eat. Speaking of food, I had the General Tso's Chicken with fried rice. My husband and I both shared Crab Rangoon. All of the food was really good! What I couldn't get past was the HOT temperature inside, and of course, the attitude from the young guy was the icing on the cake. Not to mention, he was constantly on his phone, had earphones in and he was talking LOUD in Chinese to someone. It wasn't a positive experience except the food, which was really good. I give this 3 stars for the attitude, loud talking on the phone, and of course the HEAT! We might be back, but probably not during the Summer! I suppose it will be freezing in the winter. The food is really good, but make your atmosphere comfortable and your customer service a FRIENDLY one!!

She does not seem to like solo diners --and I am frequently eating alone. The food is solid and I generally enjoy their version of sushi, although a true lover would probably find it lacking. The chicken sushi is a must for those hesitant to try it and I like the fries Jade Garden Roll as well. I never thought in a million years that I would write a negative review about Jade. It was news to…read moreme visiting from La Crosse, that Jade changed locations. Upon entering, I thought to myself, wow, this is huge! It was bright and vibrant, but also way too big for the type of restaurant it is. Reminds me of a mini Golden Corral, but there's a reason why Golden Corral was so big. Their buffet lined along the walls, and was U-shaped, and went from buffet counter to buffet counter. Jade has theirs in the middle. For the main buffet, and then the dessert bar is completely separate on the left side. We were way too far from the buffet, and it's also a lot for any older person to have to walk that far. The food was not impressive. Noodles were bright out fresh, but had 0 flavor! Even a little salt would help, but these were not the noodles I was used to. The coconut shrimp was hard and disgusting. Tasted nothing like Coconut Shrimp. The BBQ ribs were VERY tough to chew! The crab rangoon was nothing like I remember. Very bland and had a weird texture. The BEST item to me were the garlic green beans. Even what was my all-time favorite, the peanut butter chicken wasn't good at all. The buffet is wayyyyyy too expensive! Has no business being that high! If you're going to expect people to pay that price, then your quality shouldn't suffer, and should be top notch or worth the price! It's absolutely ridiculous to pay that much, when you're not offering me or any of the other consumers the same quality you had at the previous location! I can say that after this experience, and this being my go to place for yummy Asian food, has now come to a halt. We will no longer go to Jade. We will not go back until we hear things have changed. I'm clearly not the only one who feels this way. Pay attention to the other reviews. This was so upsetting to know a place that I looked forward to eating at when I get into town has suffered. I hope you guys get better, but we will not be back! SHAME!

We are partial to sitting at restaurant bars when we go out to eat. The Shanghai Bistro bar is always in need of a wipe-down when we sit down at an otherwise barely occupied bar. We love the food, but when we have to ask the completely uninterested bartender to clean his bar, this gets the experience off to an unpleasant beginning. We've had the same bartender each of the three times we've been there and each time it seems as if he'd rather be anywhere but there. Even after leaving a note on my credit card slip last time suggesting he take more pride in his department, the bar area is still in pretty sorry shape. Shanghai Bistro used to be PACKED on weeknights as well as weekends. Even on a Wednesday night -- which is their sushi special night -- the fact that the place had perhaps 20 diners demonstrates that something has gone wrong. We will undoubtedly return despite these last three unpleasant experiences. We simply hope that reviews such as this one will reach the eyes of those who need to read them.
