I love Pho Tai! I'm truly amazed that Rochester has such an authentic Vietnamese restaurant like this. The moment I walk in, the aroma of Pho fills the air--it's distinct and irresistible. Coming from a larger city with many excellent Vietnamese Pho restaurants, I can confidently say this is one of the best. The prices are incredibly affordable, making it even better. There's another Pho place in Rochester, but this one stands out as the best of the best.

Tried Pho Tai to see if it will satisfy our pho cravings. My husband and I thought it was decent. Not the best bowl of pho and egg noodles I have had but still tasty. I am excited to try other items on their menu for the next year we will be in Rochester MN. They seem to be a nice establishment. They wear face masks and are good about cleaning the tables. The servers that helped us today were very friendly. We'll be back :)

Really puts the fix for some good Vietnamese food. Pho Tai holds a special place in our hearts for some good, affordable, and fast Vietnamese food. The menu is extensive, staff is friendly, and location is ideal for those living in the NW side :) Ordered - Mi Kho (4/5). This was a great dish. The noodles were al dente, the sauce was saucy, and it came with soup. Only thing I would suggest is some meat for the sauce and some meatballs in the soup for enhanced flavors - Pho Tai (4/5). Nice and rich soup. Love how fast it gets served so you're guaranteed a hot bowl of pho especially in a chilly day in MN - Rice Platter (3/5). This was a-ok. I wasn't too excited about the cuts of meat and think I can make a meaner dish but it glad it is readily available if I am craving it

I've had Pho Tai to go and dine in. The soup both times have been super flavorful. Price is great! Pho only comes in one size mostly, but I think they have XL for a select few choices. A bit salty if left overnight. I also tried their egg rolls. Instead of typically getting like 4 smaller ones, you get two big ones cut into two. They're super generous with the meat filling and we enjoyed it! The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was their grilled pork dish. My fiancé shared that it was pretty fatty and I don't think it was well marinated, a bit bland. Otherwise, great service and food for a great price.

Brisket Pho noodle dish...add the fresh herbs and bean sprouts, pepper too XL size season to taste with chili oil and pho sauce

Water is supposed to be the best around here according to another review, and I must say,...pretty pretty good!

Very authentic vietnamese foods. A lot of traditional dishes that are more than just Pho and Spring roll.

They have the best pho and cream cheese in town, and their service is wonderful. I crave their food year round.

Was greeted with smiling faces right when we walked in! We had Elizabeth as our server and she was genuinely nice, and took her time to make sure we had the best experience ever. She ALWAYS checked back in on us to see if we needed anything, to refill waters if needed. She always had a bright smile on her face, and treated all customers with respect. She engaged to have conversations with you, asked how your day was going! The food was, nice and hot when it came out and exactly what we asked for! The food tasted AMAZING. We have 4 kids and most of them are picky but leaving this restaurant they ate things that they loved and said they we would eat again! Elmade sure my kids were happy and got the food they wanted. If you guys are looking for a place to eat when in Fairbault I would head over to 1st of Thai and eat there. The overall of the place was super clean, felt nice and warm walking in there! Nice a spacious, where you don't feel all crammed and close to others. The light in there was perfect, not too dark and not too bright. The temperature was perfect!

Spying 1st of Thai in our search along I-35 we stopped in for dinner. Located in a small strip of stores, the interior is non pretentious, plenty of tables of different sizes. The window drapery has an Asian feel giving a minimal sense of exotic. Asian music softly plays over the speakers giving one a sense of culture. We ordered the Param Longsam #34a, and the Tom Kha #17. The dishes come with rice and were generous proportions. I will say the dishes were pretty good and recommend stopping by for something different.

My mom placed an online order to be picked up at 6:46. We arrived closer to 7 and my boyfriend stated the name of our order and waited 10 minutes. He told the host our order name again and she acted like she had no idea what he was talking about. They didn't have our order that we had confirmation for and instead of working on our order, we had to wait for 40 minutes for our dinner. We ordered this food to make our lives easier for baking and cleaning tonight for thanksgiving prep and instead it put us behind. They offered an extra order of pho and in the end didn't give it to us because whoever was in the back said no. The food was not the quality it usually is either. The wontons were very chewy, the rice flour cake was a messy and burnt a bit, and the pad Thai leaked in the bag and spilled over everything else. There was nearly a cup of watery sauce in the bag. This was a disappointing experience and I'm not sure I'll be back after this. This is some of the worst customer service I've experienced.
