Use to love it, but things change. Their sauces are runnier, the spring rolls bland, and instead of using actual vermicelli in their vermicelli salad, spaghetti thick noodles. They just aren't the same flavor or tooth feel. Less vegetables and much less stuffing in the egg rolls. read more

Incredible Egg Rolls and their other menu items are always tasty too (but DO try the egg rolls)! They recently opened a dining space, but is a well known stop for takeout orders! Their hours are different than most restaurants in the area, so it's important to plan accordingly. The staff always pleasant and get your food to you in a timely manner! read more

On the way back from Appleton, I found this place an hour and thirty minutes away from Minnesota. So glad we found this place. I was super hungry and craved for asian food. This place is packed with college kids on a Sunday. Luckily there was a table available. The service was great and they were fast! Pho just needed a little more work with more noodles and less broth. As someone driving through from out of town, I passed by Eau Claire and had to try out this restaurant. I was not disappointed! Do yourself a favor and try it out, whether you're a local or visitor. The Cantonese noodles had a very savory taste, and with plenty of fresh vegetables. My boyfriend ordered Green Curry and loved it. We recommend the option to upgrade to sticky rice, too. As for the drinks, we ordered bubble tea and found both lychee and passion fruit flavors to be satisfyingly sweet and very refreshing . We also shared a Thai Iced Coffee, which kept us going during our journey. I wish I could have experienced more of the restaurant, but because of these times, I will have to wait for when it's safe to dine indoors again. In the meantime, at least the food is delicious! Thank you to the owners and staff who make it possible. They even recommended a nice park for us to eat at after. They are rock stars! read more

We were so excited to find this place on Yelp as we were passing through on our way home from a camping trip. We were determined to do better than standard interstate exit fast food! I had a spring roll to start and it was fresh and delicious! The beef pho was amazing! The broth was clearly well made and needed absolutely no doctoring up with fish sauce and sriracha. The small was plenty large for lunch and a steal at around $5. Service was fast and friendly! I have eaten at lot of places and in a lot of cities. This is my soul food. The struggle is narrowing down what to eat because I can't eat it all. Beef pho is the best. Egg rolls are the best. Chicken pad thai is the best. Peanut sauce is delicious. Service was always good. Place is nothing fancy. Not sure what happened, but last time I was there it was only take out and no more dine-in, days/hours were bad. Pho wasn't the same since I couldn't dine in last time. Great food. Hot. Fresh. Fast. A family run place. They work really hard, and the food comes out quickly. Egg rolls--delicious. You get a bottle of hot sauce and duck (sweet) sauce with it. I cut the egg roll in half, pour in a little soy sauce, then the hot, then the sweet. The Pho is really good. And really big! The regular will fill lost people up. I recently tried the Nam Vahn (tri colored drink) and it was really good. Close to Mayo hospital in Eau Claire. My favorite is the noodle and rice stir fry. A little hidden GEM! I absolutely love this place. The only reason why I didn't give it five stars is the square footage is tiny and it's always crowded on the weekends; when I go. I just wish there were more room! The egg rolls are delicious! It comes freshly fried so it's still piping hot and the skin is crispy. It's served with sweet and sour sauce and an alternative spicer sauce. I always get their papaya salad, $4 for small or $5 for large. Julienned mango is also in the mix. The liquid is dark, it's sweet, sour, and spicey. It's incredible and inexpensive. I've also had the pad thai, pho, and stir-fry. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Pho comes in four sizes - small, regular, large, and jumbo! The service is especially friendly and very accomodating as well. The only thing I was disappointed with was the crab ragoons. They didn't have imitation crab meat and it was filled with cream cheese only. Other than that, Eggroll Plus is great! Their Laos style papaya salad (which is $5 and not a bad price at all) is authentic and I asked for 4 peppers (because 2 would've been to mild for my personal taste) and they mix pieces of mango with it, which makes it even more delicious! I also ordered their shrimp Pad Thai and it was $8 but it was worth it because I could barely finish it and I was very full and satisfied. I also ordered a lychee boba tea and it was refreshing. My total bill was $16 and in my opinion, it was worth every dollar because it was a full meal. The restaurant is fairly small and there's only one waitress but she worked hard and made sure that everyone got their food quickly. Had the combination stir-fry ($13.95) which had only one shrimp, so if that's the part you like best, you're better off adding a side for $3, or ordering it with only shrimp. One of the few places to get Pho in Eau Claire is at Eggs Rolls Plus. Interesting mix of Vietnamese, Thai and other Asian fusion. It's a hole in the wall restaurant which is part of it's charm. It's about the food and not the decor. The Pho is a good well worked broth with the right combination of spices to make it authentic. They have small bowls for around $5.00 which is perfect is you are getting other side dishes or the large for $6.25 is pretty huge. It comes with a nice assortment of side garnishes to add, lime, mint, jalapenos and bean sprouts. It's not the best that I've ever had but still a solid B and worth it.
