While we were wandering around Oakwood Mall, we swung by the food court just to see what the options were. I spied a boba place as we looked around. Tim talked about how Rocky Rococo has weird pizza slices. I said if he's getting food, I'm going to grab some boba... so that's what we did. I always find boba menus confusing. After having been to a handful, each one does their menu a bit different so it took me a little bit to parse what I wanted. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and super patient while I decided on the black tea oreo boba with tapioca pearls in it. She was able to whip up the drink in just a few minutes and then I made my way back to where Tim was scarfing down his strange pizza slice and breadsticks. I stabbed the straw through the seal and started sipping... and what a sip it was. While I was hesitant on what I ordered, it was delicious and just what I needed to recharge my battery. Each sip was better than the last. While I was waiting for my drink to be made, I noticed on the side menu an option for a Royal Black Milk Tea. When I come back in 2025, that is going to be my choice of drink. The oreo drink was dang good but this sounds more like my kind of jam.
