Nothing is new. Everything is the same week after the week they never put anything out. The food is just OK not the best Chinese buffet.

Love the veggie fried rice here that has broccoli. I always get this with sweet and sour sauce. It's one of my favorites!

They're food had gone down hill if you have been living in Menomonie for a decade. Their fried rice is flavorless and old. Their low mein is flavorless. Those two top food in the Chinese buffet industry should say a lot about the rest of the food. It's pretty much more grease and some meat are chewy. I recommend customers to eat those typical food you see in Chinese buffet like fried rice, low mein, teriyaki or etc and compare to different buffet. If those typical food aren't good then the buffet is not good. I swear I ate a Chinese buffet in MN, their low mein noodles were thin spaghetti noodles because the noodles were round and texture was chewy like any spaghetti noodles. Be careful which buffet you go eat because I know Chinese buffet are good at substituting food. Did not care for the buffet. Food was barely warm. Chicken dishes was just ok. The chicken was tough. Large variety but of average quality. Service typical of a buffet. Servicer never stopped over to see if everything was ok. Flagged her down for napkins and knife. read more

In short: This is a great place. The people who work at China Buffet love their work and it shows - there is always plenty of food, it is always cleanly, and there are always people filling the seats. Definitely worth the go if you're into Chinese food. They also offer takeout that features options not included in the buffet and it's all very good as well. This is a pretty typical Chinese buffet in my opinion the food is much better than most buffets I have been in. They offer a pretty good selection of foods and dinner hours they switch the menu to include crab legs and other seafood assortments. The bathrooms in this facility are terrible they are not well maintained often having something broken and garbage on the floor. The food is by far the only thing keep this ranking high. read more

We stopped here because it was convenient on our way home from our cabin near Chetek. Because of Covid, it is takeout only. They take your order just inside the main entrance. We ordered a chicken with vegetables combo, which included fried rice and an egg roll. It took only 10 minutes and everything was fresh and delicious! read more

My Mom and I stopped to eat here when we where checking out the town because I am moving to Menomonie. We where hungry for Chinese food and saw this place and where sadly disappointed. The hosts where nice but food not the greatest. Most likely will not be eating here again. read more

I should have learned from our two previous experiences. We came in on a Thursday evening about 7:30 pm, About a half dozen tables were filled with other patrons and as the two previous visits No Food on the steam tables. There were a few and I mean A FEW pans of fairly fresh food. At the register I asked the Manager to discount our meals for the lack of food . He loudly and excitedly told me that if I want more food I need to ask and I should come earlier. So maybe the price should dwindle as the food dwindles???? This particular Manager or Owner is disappointingly rude and hollers loudly at his staff and gets quite frustrated with customers. Three strikes and your out! read more

Came in around 3 and we were given a bill for about 18 dollars I think. We got up to get more food, and when we returned the bill had been switched to 24 dollars because we stayed passed 3:30, which is when the dinner starts. Total BS, since we were there for the majority of the lunch. The food is actually quite bad too. To be honest, you're better off going to Hang's cuisine near dicks fresh market, or even just buying frozen Chinese food and making it at home. read more

I went here for lunch one day. I have definitely been to better Chinese buffets. Some of the food just looked unappetizing and it didn't taste right. Most of their food tasted like it was from the freezer, not homemade. The service was okay. As soon as we left the restaurant my husband and I agreed we would never go back again. read more
