Lettuce egg roll
Cal L.

Bland Chinese... egg rolls consisting of lettuce only? In general not much flavor to the soups or meals, mostly disappointed with the egg rolls

Pretty decent food and very fast for pick up after ordering. I've never eaten in the store before only had take out. Very friendly.

It was not good. Very oily and left me feeling sick - i don't think the food is very fresh. But the people working were very kind

The food was bad. Crab Rangoon and wontons super small. Food was old. Horrible selection. Don't waste your time going here.

Not the quality you get back in the cities, but for the price and selection it is very reasonable and good food.

I ordered the egg rolls, wontons, and the sesame chicken lunch combo. When we arrived, we noticed they had a lunch special available until 3 p.m. We asked if we could still order from that menu, and the woman taking our order pointed to her clock and said no. I glanced at my phone--it was 2:55 p.m. I asked her when the cut off time was and mentioned that their clock seemed a bit fast. She eventually let us order the lunch combo, but it was clear she wasn't thrilled about it. The interaction left us feeling a little awkward. As for the food--it was just okay. The wontons were bland and lacked any real flavor. The sesame chicken was underwhelming, missing that punch of sweetness and crunch I was hoping for. The side of rice tasted old and dry, like it had been sitting out for a while. The one highlight was the egg roll. It came out hot and fresh, crispy on the outside and filled with a good amount of veggies. It's definitely up there with my favorites. If I'm in the area again and my bestie is craving this spot, I'd be open to giving it another shot. Next time, I'd skip the combo and stick with the egg rolls, and maybe try her favorite dish--the lo mein. Hopefully, it'll be a better experience.

We arrived a little after opening time and were seated right away, but it took a little over 45 minutes before our food arrived, which felt quite long considering it wasn't very busy yet. We started with the egg rolls. They were plated nicely and looked appealing when they came out. The rolls themselves were loosely wrapped, which made the wrappers a bit soggy rather than crispy, but the flavor of the filling was actually quite good. We also ordered sticky rice, which unfortunately was not sticky at all. It had more of a regular rice texture. I'm not sure if this is a different preparation style compared to traditional sticky rice I'm used to, but it wasn't what I expected. We also ordered the sticky rice to go with the beef namtok, but it came out with the egg rolls instead of with the entrée, which felt a bit odd timing-wise. The pho boat noodle was the highlight of the meal--9/10. The broth had good depth of flavor and the dish overall was satisfying. One thing that would elevate the experience is having condiments and herbs readily available, such as fresh basil, lime, and bean sprouts served on the side so customers can add them to their preference rather than having them already mixed in. The beef namtok, however, was disappointing--2/10. The flavor profile itself was there, but the beef was very tough and tasted boiled. Traditionally, namtok that I've had is grilled and thinly sliced, which gives it a smoky flavor and more tender texture with the seasoning absorbing into the meat. This version didn't quite deliver that same experience. Overall, the meal wasn't terrible, but there are definitely areas that could be improved. The staff and owner were extremely friendly and welcoming, which we really appreciated. I would also love to see the atmosphere better reflect the style of food being served, as that can really enhance the overall dining experience.

This is a great small town Chinese restaurant. Solid food, fair prices. The closest alternatives…read moreare all 10-20 minutes away and not worth the drive time. Ultimately, if we want Chinese, this is our location and we aren't mad about it. This is a place where you'll really want to order for pick-up, though there are a few tables available. It really isn't a dine-in setting, and that's fine by us. In the summer, you could pick up an order and go eat down by the river. We appreciate being able to order online (payment is in person). Today an item was forgotten in our order...it happens...and we called in and the missing item was provided without any trouble. I guess that is "expected," but it still feels like good customer service. As an added benefit, the entree containers end up becoming "left over" containers at our house until they wear out. Our orders usually include some form of orange chicken, General Tao's chicken, sesame chicken, lo mein, or fried rice, though most items on the menu are good and meet expectations for Chinese food. We're grateful that this store is in Prescott and hope that it remains here for years and years to come.

Every time I have been here they tell you 30 minute wait when you call or order online. I learned after two visits to always wait at least 45 minutes yet no matter how much time we give I always arrive to find out they haven't even started my order. They then proceed to say its "almost ready" and will be done in 10 minutes which always results in another 25 minutes sitting in the restaurant. Moving forward I will be making the drive to Hastings or Cottage Grove.

This place is really lame - SO disappointing!…read more FOOD: The building is pretty and modern looking. But the food is the typical boring, questionable quality stuff that you can find at any one of thousands of local Chinese takeout joints that seem to proliferate everywhere with mediocre, overcooked, soggy, under-seasoned food. The portions are small and expensive. I paid $7.91 for a "medium" Beijing Beef that came in a tiny box that was less than 3 inches wide! (See photo.) What a joke! I hate to see what the "small" size looks like. They must give it to you a thimble. The only redeeming thing I can say is the mystery crust on my Beef Beijing had decent flavor. INDOOR SEATING: I went to the door and I was blocked by the manager. Sorry, no indoor seating, only the drive-through window. I asked him why 99% of the restaurants in Hudson have indoor seating but Panda Express does NOT. He said it's a California based company and it's too complicated to comply with different rules in different states. They're doing it California style. I happen to know that this is a complete load of crap. Does Applebee's (across the highway) have problems with different rules in different states? Of course not! That's what managers are for. And this isn't rocket science. And does McDonald's (about a block away) have difficulty with different protocols in different states? I don't think so. In fact, McDonald's seems to manage with different protocols in completely different COUNTRIES and on completely different continents like in Russia, China, Mexico, and Peru, South America. In hind sight, I should have just gone to McDonald's and grabbed a Number 1 Big Mac Meal. I definitely will NEVER go back to this place. -Daddy Maxx Retro
