It appears that during the summer they do have patio seating! This place has a fair amount of seating inside, major plus!! The decor was cute with the hanging umbrellas!! Everyone that we encountered was very sweet! They are also fast paced here, so it may be good to look at the menu before you go! Our food was DELICIOUS!! The spring rolls were so fresh and the peanut sauce that came with was sweet! A perfect pairing! I got the number 48 (the name of the actual dish is escaping me) and my boyfriend got the pad Thai with chicken! Both had incredible flavor! To end the meal, we got the mango sticky rice and holy YUM!! Don't miss out on that! A great way to end the meal! This place was delicious!! Definitely go support them!!

Perhaps our own fault, we got there later in the evening, got seated right away and ask to place our drink order. The beer on the menu made in Duluth was not available and it took 45 Min and several times asking for the tea to arrive ! After that, it took 45 more Min to place the food order ! The food was good and tasty as it was before but perhaps that was not the best day and time to go there ! All in all a fair place to go !

The pad thai was fabulous and my husband enjoyed his red coconut curry dish. I ordered mine a 1 out of 5 for spiciness and it was perfect. My husband loves the heat, and thought his 2 out of 5 was perfect. He was given some hot chili spice to add if desired, but he said it was perfect as is. Our friends chose the "drunken noodles" entree and pineapple fried rice. They loved their dishes too. The family that owns this restaurant and works here as chefs & servers deserve our business! We'll be back for sure.

We arrived a little after opening time and were seated right away, but it took a little over 45 minutes before our food arrived, which felt quite long considering it wasn't very busy yet. We started with the egg rolls. They were plated nicely and looked appealing when they came out. The rolls themselves were loosely wrapped, which made the wrappers a bit soggy rather than crispy, but the flavor of the filling was actually quite good. We also ordered sticky rice, which unfortunately was not sticky at all. It had more of a regular rice texture. I'm not sure if this is a different preparation style compared to traditional sticky rice I'm used to, but it wasn't what I expected. We also ordered the sticky rice to go with the beef namtok, but it came out with the egg rolls instead of with the entrée, which felt a bit odd timing-wise. The pho boat noodle was the highlight of the meal--9/10. The broth had good depth of flavor and the dish overall was satisfying. One thing that would elevate the experience is having condiments and herbs readily available, such as fresh basil, lime, and bean sprouts served on the side so customers can add them to their preference rather than having them already mixed in. The beef namtok, however, was disappointing--2/10. The flavor profile itself was there, but the beef was very tough and tasted boiled. Traditionally, namtok that I've had is grilled and thinly sliced, which gives it a smoky flavor and more tender texture with the seasoning absorbing into the meat. This version didn't quite deliver that same experience. Overall, the meal wasn't terrible, but there are definitely areas that could be improved. The staff and owner were extremely friendly and welcoming, which we really appreciated. I would also love to see the atmosphere better reflect the style of food being served, as that can really enhance the overall dining experience.

Was greeted with smiling faces right when we walked in! We had Elizabeth as our server and she was genuinely nice, and took her time to make sure we had the best experience ever. She ALWAYS checked back in on us to see if we needed anything, to refill waters if needed. She always had a bright smile on her face, and treated all customers with respect. She engaged to have conversations with you, asked how your day was going! The food was, nice and hot when it came out and exactly what we asked for! The food tasted AMAZING. We have 4 kids and most of them are picky but leaving this restaurant they ate things that they loved and said they we would eat again! Elmade sure my kids were happy and got the food they wanted. If you guys are looking for a place to eat when in Fairbault I would head over to 1st of Thai and eat there. The overall of the place was super clean, felt nice and warm walking in there! Spying 1st of Thai in our search along I-35 we stopped in for dinner. Located in a small strip of stores, the interior is non pretentious, plenty of tables of different sizes. The window drapery has an Asian feel giving a minimal sense of exotic. Asian music softly plays over the speakers giving one a sense of culture. We ordered the Param Longsam #34a, and the Tom Kha #17. The dishes come with rice and were generous proportions. I will say the dishes were pretty good and recommend stopping by for something different.
