Went for Mother's Day after doing a pretty exhaustive search! Got there probably about 1 PM. Were greeted by a very pleasant gal at the front desk seated promptly we were asked for a drink selection and our drinks were delivered promptly and we were off to the buffet. The food was excellent. I don't care what anybody says in their reviews, don't believe it. I'm a picky eater. The food was excellent. Everything was hot prime rib was cooked as it should be rare. Well, sadly we were of the understanding that every Thursday was still crab. We are from an hour and a quarter away and had promised my 85 year old mom that we would treat her to crab as of is one of her favorite things. She doesn't get around well and certainly wouldn't make that trip if she had to drive. Anyway you probably already know where this is going. We were there Thursday the 13th and there wasn't a crableg in site. Now I guess crab starts again for every Thursday in September. The photo on Yelp when I made our reservation showed the prime rib and the crab. We had no reason to think it wouldn't be there. Oh well. read more

The Sunday Express Breakfast is awful. Scrambled eggs (the only ones they had) were cold. Pancakes were cold and soggy in the middle, but hard around the edges, like it was microwaved. The only fruit was melon. I couldn't find toast. The service was awful. For the price Perkins is a LOT better. We've had dinner there and it was great, but we will not be back for breakfast. It was especially sad because I took my husband there for Father's Day and his birthday (same day) and I was expecting so much more. read more

Best deal at the casino is the buffet on Wednesday night for only $20 per person. We enjoyed juicy tender prime rib, jumbo shrimp and a myriad of desserts. Recommend making reservations ahead of time. We did not have to wait to get in. read more

It was ok... said it was 'SOLD OUT' but multiple tables were available, I would suggest to go after rush around 6-6:30... salad bar was wonderful.. they had sections... Thanksgiving dinner, fried chicken, taco bar, seafood section, carving station, Chinese, pizza, feel good station, soft serve ice cream.. dessert bar was sparse not much to choose from we saw 3 different pies and didn't put much out at a time so if you see it get it right away. Staff was there... had to refill our own drinks came once to get dirty plates. The service was great, our server was on top of her game and very polite. We went for the Seafood Buffet. All stations had crab legs, that was good. Only popcorn shrimp, peel and eat shrimp, and crawfish? No seafood pasta, seafood bake, or cod. That's disappointing. $60 is a little overpriced for luke warm crab legs. Poor quality food. Hard to check in. Fruit was the best. Beef was touch. Deserts were not that good.

They ran out of food, lots of people still in line to sit down to eat. What was at the end, did not look vertical appealing.

The buffet is back - 3 stars. 1) HOURS: It's back but it's different. First of all, the days and the hours are limited. I'm not going to lay it out here because it will probably change next week. I'll just say that you should check the website (or call) for current times. They aren't open as many days of the week or as many hours of the day as before the pandemic. Check before you get in your car. 2) RESERVATIONS: A reservation is recommended. They aren't kidding about this. We arrived with a reservation so there wasn't a problem. But the couple standing in line right behind us did NOT have a reservation and they were NOT let in. Bummer. 3) CASH: You can't pay cash for the buffet. This actually pissed me off - a lot. I'm amazed that a casino (yes, a gambling casino) won't accept cash and official US Currency for the stupid buffet! What the heck? Haven't they read what it says on our dollars? It says, "THIS NOTE IS LEGAL TENDER FOR ALL DEBTS, PUBLIC AND PRIVATE". Now they have some ridiculous overly complicated digital kiosks up front to pay. They're so goofy, so complicated, and so poorly designed (not intuitive at all), they had a full time staff standing there to help people figure them out. For what they paid for these lame machines, they probably could have employed a small army of real human cashiers with basic cash registers. Stupid. 4) FOOD: The spread of food is way different than before. The huge ostentatious displays with mountains of food are long gone. They have a lot. But what's on display is pretty sparse. On the other hand, I don't think they ever let any food run out. It looks different but it's probably a lot more efficient and less wasteful. Just a guess on my part. 5) DECOR: There's a huge re-design. It looks nice. It has a modern, minimalist, clean, geometric look that we're so familiar with these days. 6) LOW CARB: It's super easy to eat low carbohydrate...Keto, Ketovore, or Carnivore at the buffet. You just keep going back to the meat and the seafood. Overall, I'm going with a simple mid-range "okay" rating of 3. It didn't knock my socks off. But it did the job and I left with a full stomach. The food is good (definitely not great), the Friday night buffet is WAY OVER PRICED!! The Wednesday night buffet is definitely the best for the price, but even then it's a lot of fried foods which not everyone likes to eat.
