Food was good...not great..but good. Kinda pricey, but they do have a great selection of entrees to pick from. Service was good, but do get a reservation early, or you may end up waiting for a while. Would definitely recommend going at least once, then you decide from there. read more

Went to Trade winds for the first time with some buddies last night. The crab was so awesome. I had never really had good crab legs. The buffet selection was very impressive with everything from fried chicken, salads and even cut to order Prime Rib. The service was very good. They made sure we had drinks and the crab shell bowl was always emptied before we needed. The dessert area was also something that was impressive. It is hot and cold desserts with everything from French silk pie, which is my favorite to a seasonal pumpkin bread pudding. If wasn't super loud for a buffet it's size. The one thing that got me was the restroom wasn't really big enough to accommodate the size of the restaurant. Overall if you like crab and buffets at casinos it is worth a try. read more

Efficient entry even with multiple customers. The kiosk was a little confusing but manned by two staff members which makes me wonder if it made things more efficient. Honestly we have eaten here before for prime rib and it was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, this time around it wasn't good at all. We went on Friday January 16th with reservations at 5:15 p.m. When we arrived we checked in quickly and no line so was able to pay right away. We had a told of three people with us for it cost around $115 after tax with no tip yet. We then went to give our ticket which we were seated immediately. They did have lots of options for food from a salad bar, taco bar, fish, sides, prime rib, Chinese, pizza, and American option. The reason we chose her was for birthday dinner which I wanted prime rib. Unfortunately, it was not good at all. The first one was so over done that it tasted like eating roast beef. The second one was a little bit better but still over done but not dried out so bad. The third one you could at least see pink finally but still didn't taste well. I think we just went on a off day cause our lasts experience wasn't this bad. read more

Reservations are bad because their slots don't allow more people. I think the people checking in are ok so far as far as customer service.

Inconvenient hours, high cost. I wish they were open more hours and cost less. That would be better.

They are very disorganized when it comes to reservations and the wait list. Food is worth waiting for - especially the chicken!

Just recently been to the Wynn seafood Buffet in Vegas and Anthony's steakhouse in Henderson NV both serve crab legs but best ones are at Tradewinds seafood buffet . They have more variety and other offerings but for crab legs none better than Tradewinds. read more

Reading other reviews I decided to take my chance. Well I have to say crabs aren't baked, not too salty like some of the reviews have said. The crab legs were good just make sure you get to grab some warm ones. As for the rest of the buffet not many hot vegetables to choose from just a starch line up. Salad buffet table was very fresh, clean and orderly. The service was good they were on top of my refills taking my dirty plates away. Thursday crab legs buffet for the reservation if you want an early time I was told to reserve in advance like weeks even months. it had been a couple of years since I have visited this buffet. I was in hope that things might have changed. They have changed... If possible, this food has gotten even worse. I had fried chicken, that was barely warm. I had a little bit of a leg and gave up, I went back later after they had freshened the supply and it was a little better, but still not hot. Luke warm fried chicken?? UGG. The shrimp was OK. (the peel and eat variety, not the popcorn shrimp). The popcorn shrimp clearly came out of a huge bag that had been deep frozen and was thrown in the deep fryer. Almost all breading, no shrimp to speak of. the pollock was the same...deep fried from frozen, and even more tough and tasteless than the popcorn shrimp. The mashed potatoes were OK, but the gravy had a skin over the top of it. Really un appetizing. I also try to piece of pizza that was almost completely devoid of flavor, and, like everything else, was just lukewarm. I ordered milk, which came in paper cartons. The milk tasted bad, and the expiration date on the carton was for the next day!! Sheesh! Eventually, I just gave up. There was almost nothing left on the buffet that was even remotely appetizing, and I didn't want to over-stuff myself just looking for something that was good. For dessert, I had a piece of chocolate cake that was dry. (should've been covered), and a piece of pumpkin pie that was just OK, with some whipped cream. I don't understand how they can produce food that has so little flavor, and have so little pride in their product that they sling this stuff out there and think it's worth the price. What a major disappointment. My goodness, Treasure Island, if you have no more pride than this in your product, don't open the doors. read more

We did a Wednesday night, it was very busy. Things were hit or miss. Glad to see both sides of the salad bar were open. I was a little concerned the pickled beets were more room temp than cold. The roast beef looked a little under cooked than I care for. I loved the Mexican options with the bags of Doritos. It was a nice option. As always the cold shrimp is always good. Hubby loved his pork chop. It was very busy so very few dessert options. I am not a fan of the new ice cream machine with the option of assorted flavors. It takes a long time for people to figure it out and they is a lot of waste. The flavors weren't as flavorful as I expected. I really miss the gelato they use to have. read more

It might seem crazy but my favorite part is the salad bar! It's huge and the veggies are always fresh. What's there depends on the day of the week but I love when they have their Broasted chicken. The pizza is also pretty good too. read more

Our group visited the seafood buffet at the Trade Winds Buffet on Thursday evening. We had reservations and discovered the wait time to seating was the quickest it has ever been. The service was phenomenal and the crab was beyond our expectations during it had been 3 years since our last visit. My only regret is that their online reservation system will NOT allow future reservations. Whats up with that ???? read more

I must say we were there at 4:15 reservation and the person that checked us in was great! Also the person helping with pay at kiosk. crab was great! I thought they had a good handle on the process. i know this was their first night back but the reservations needs a lot of work. we were getting texts on reservations we didn't even make. Also there's a certain group of people that heap their plates full ( like u can't go back) that ruin it for others. No consideration for others and they are rude. maybe you could put a sign up that says only allowed 4 clusters at a time. This is a big turn off for those that following rules.
