I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Chinese food is always so hit and miss but none of us had any complaints, yay! I ordered take-out so dine-in may be very different. Down to the food: Crab Rangoon-Decent size but my SO wasn't happy that they didn't come with sweet and sour. Lemon Chicken- They slice the cutlets which are in extra crispy breading. They put it on a bed of cabbage then smother it in the sauce. I don't like cabbage but I liked that they did it because my chicken wasn't soggy when I got home. Could have used more sauce tho. Spicy Shrimp-Great sauce, lots of veggies. I was expecting more shrimp. In the pint I got maybe...maybe 8 pieces. Pepper Beef w/ Onion-My SO didn't complain so that's always good. Szechuan Beef-Our friend DEVOURED it. Also, the main yelp menu on here is super outdated. Look at the one I posted, lots of info about delivery and such.

"Mongolian beef." more like Mongolian Onions.

Bad customer service. We walked in and the workers saw us and waited to be served that we eventually left.

Hot and sour soup and aromatic chicken are excellent. Cash only can be inconvenient. I do not recommend the cream cheese wontons.

Got promptly seated during Friday evening and decided to try the buffet out. I really wanted to like this place, but the buffet was mid at best. There were some hits but unfortunately lots and lots of misses. The inside is a bit dark (see pic) and the tables/chairs have definitely seen better days. Onto the food now: Multiple items seemed really cold, as if the hot plate that's supposed to keep them warm were not working or something and some other items were over seasoned (mushroom with gravy) or others felt under cooked (calamari) and some were completely bland. The sushi did not taste great and the baked salmon, ugh, made me shrivel while just looking at it. With that said - I've never had Peanut Butter Chicken, so mustered the courage to try that and it was not bad at all. There was a hibachi section (included in buffet price) so we tried that as well as ordered off the menu as no one in the party was enjoying the buffet, and both of those items were stellar. I think, it is just the buffet that was very mediocre but if you order off the menu, this place is not bad. Next time around, will just exclusively order off the menu and update the review accordingly.

It appears that during the summer they do have patio seating! This place has a fair amount of seating inside, major plus!! The decor was cute with the hanging umbrellas!! Everyone that we encountered was very sweet! They are also fast paced here, so it may be good to look at the menu before you go! Our food was DELICIOUS!! The spring rolls were so fresh and the peanut sauce that came with was sweet! A perfect pairing! I got the number 48 (the name of the actual dish is escaping me) and my boyfriend got the pad Thai with chicken! Both had incredible flavor! To end the meal, we got the mango sticky rice and holy YUM!! Don't miss out on that! A great way to end the meal! This place was delicious!! Definitely go support them!!

Ultimately, if we want Chinese, this is our location and we aren't mad about it. This is a place where you'll really want to order for pick-up, though there are a few tables available. It really isn't a dine-in setting, and that's fine by us. In the summer, you could pick up an order and go eat down by the river. We appreciate being able to order online (payment is in person). Today an item was forgotten in our order...it happens...and we called in and the missing item was provided without any trouble. I guess that is "expected," but it still feels like good customer service. As an added benefit, the entree containers end up becoming "left over" containers at our house until they wear out. Our orders usually include some form of orange chicken, General Tao's chicken, sesame chicken, lo mein, or fried rice, though most items on the menu are good and meet expectations for Chinese food. We're grateful that this store is in Prescott and hope that it remains here for years and years to come.

Every time I have been here they tell you 30 minute wait when you call or order online. I learned after two visits to always wait at least 45 minutes yet no matter how much time we give I always arrive to find out they haven't even started my order. They then proceed to say its "almost ready" and will be done in 10 minutes which always results in another 25 minutes sitting in the restaurant. Moving forward I will be making the drive to Hastings or Cottage Grove.

The only person eating inside the restaurant was the cashier, which we later came to find out would be our chef & our server also! It was just 2 of us and we wanted to dine-in. Found out that there is a 6% charge to eat in. Plus there is a 4% charge if you use a card vs using cash. Alright, back onto the order, we ordered a couple of entrees and a couple of boba drinks. You pay at counter before you sit down and although the gentleman was very nice, he was really slow. I could not imagine, how they would do, if there were multiple people who were wanting to order. From putting in order to paying, am guessing it took the gent about 10 minutes, not great! The dine-in experience was not great. Floor was sticky, actually very sticky at certain spots. Bathrooms were icky, i just went in to wash hands. Was really hoping and rooting that food would make-up for the experience that we had so far but of course it did not. Both the entrées were really bland. I don't think that it was possible, but somehow they made Chinese food not have a taste. It was as bland as it can get. We doused salt & soya sauce on the food to give it some taste just so we can eat it. Remember the boba drinks that we ordered, we did not get them until almost we got done eating and were ready to ask for to-go boxes. I asked our cashier/server/chef what's taking this long for the drinks and the again very polite & friendly gent told us that he has not made one before so it took him some time to figure things out which explained the yelling & screaming that we were hearing coming from the kitchen :D I do not recall ever having this kind of end to end experience at a restaurant. I wish the restaurant the best, but honestly, i am not sure how long they will be able to survive, if things do not change.

The food lacked flavor and there was hardly any meat in the beef lo mein I ordered (see pic with almost no meat). It doesn't need to be littered with meat but it's comical to say it's beef lo mein and I joked that I can't even call it vegetable lo mein cause there weren't many onions or much else in it either. Service left something to be desired. From the moment you enter the building, you get a sense that customer service is not their forte. Not that they were rude, they were not. But there's nothing there to draw you back in or feel like you've been welcomed into something special. I wasn't greeted when I entered or at any point but told that they would be right back, and went to the kitchen. The packaging of the food needs more forethought and I implore the owners to do better. I ordered Orange chicken and a sweet and sour chicken dinner plate. I can only assume that the battered chicken labeled "orange chicken" was supposed to be for both meals as they did not do anything to indicate or clearly state if the meat was for both meals or if I was supposed to get a separate container for the dinner meal as one would anticipate - it was just a large container of chicken. This could have been resolved if the owners or whoever was working had the customer service skills to communicate this. A simple sentence and conversation to explain their packaging would have been a nice minimum but it seems they don't want to talk to customers. Not only that but they decided to pack the bright red and bright orange sauces in those white take out boxes that are clearly not for liquids. Imagine a quart full of orange, liquid goo going all over because they didn't tell you that they decided to pack a huge container of said liquid in a non-liquid container. The fact that they don't see that as a problem says a lot about how much they know or care about running a restaurant. I don't think I'd ever want to return even if I was desperate. I hope that they can work on their customer service skills and rethink their food packaging.
