Love sichuan style foods n pot hot. Took me awhile to get used to the numbing peppers but I do get a craving for it now n then. My go to is always the cold beef slices w beef maw in sichuan chili sauce. Hot pot is good n ingredients come in a large bento like box. Very Large menu; come with a crowd so u can get a variety. On the menu (much appreciated)... delicious boba for the kiddos. Loving the space. Kool folks, recommended.

This review is for take out as I had to try. Woodbury now has an authentic Szechuan Restaurant. I ordered on a large touch screen when I entered. The atmosphere is very nice and will try dine in next time. I ordered Mapo Tofu, Sliced Beef Omasum & Szechuan Beef Noodle. All perfect with the right amount of spice utilizing Szechuan Peppercorns, My takeout order was perfectly wrapped and placed in an insulated bag. I can't wait to go back to dine in to try more dishes especially their dim sum.

My wife and I decided to try Legendary Spice because we found they opened a location in Woodbury. So, upon walking into the restaurant, we immediately noticed how nice the decor was. We were seated, and the tables are set up with a bench and several chairs. The tables have chopsticks in a napkin and small bowls and plates. On the bench where we sat, they had these cute panda fur-style seat cushions, which we liked, and a few pillows. The apps we ordered were crab Rangoon and chicken egg rolls. For our entrées, we ordered the boiled fish and the combo hot and spice pot with rice. The problem came when the food was brought out. I tried it and had a numbing feeling on my tongue and in my mouth, and it was like I had eaten something that wasn't good for me. My wife tried it also and said she believed it was probably the peppercorn. I spoke to the gentleman who seemed to be the manager; he asked if I wanted them to remake it without peppercorn, and I said yes. So, they remade it, and it was much better, but the feeling was in my mouth for so long that I didn't finish my food; I just took it home. My wife said hers was similar with peppercorn, and she didn't care much for it. The apps were good, and the service was good. Even one of the people that worked there said she didn't like the peppercorn either. I feel there should have been something mentioned about how the peppercorn would affect the taste of the dish, but nothing was mentioned about that. I am not sure we will return because even though they made it right the issue we had kind of ruined our evening.

I ordered carry out and made the 2 mile trip from my hotel. Legendary spice is in a strip mall type plaza thing, there is plenty of parking. When I walked in, I was quickly greeted by the amazing smell of the spicy food that I was about to enjoy. The dining room and kitchen all all in one open room. It is very easy to see your food being prepared. Everyone was all smiles here. They go all out on the TO-GO experience, the packaging is the best I've ever seen and that makes it super easy when my hands are full and getting into the hotel. The utensil packet comes sealed and contains chop sticks, a small plastic fork or spork even, a toothpick and a napkin. The entire packet is well thought out and very convenient. My General Tso's chicken was spicy just like I asked, the sauce was not overly sweet and I liked that. The chicken fried rice was loaded with chicken. Both dishes were hot and the portions were perfect. The next time I crave spicy I will hit this place up without hesitation.

All the dishes we try had great depth of flavor, my favorite was the wonton soup. Next time I will get a bigger bowl. Jack was very attentive and super friendly. The decor and graphic design looks beautiful as well. I love all the panda decor. We will be back and definitely want to try the szechuan soup & dim sum. Highly recommend

Had lunch take out and ordered a variety of items to try: lemon shrimp, mopo tofu, dry chili chicken and chicken kung pao. Also had cream cheese puffs and wonton soup with the order. Been wanting to check this place out for a long time, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. Food was not great overall. The wonton soup was the worst I've ever had. Took a sip and threw it out. Tasted like dirty pepper water...it was super bland like water with a stong black pepper after taste. It came with wontons, but after trying the terrible broth, I was too afraid to eat it. Do not order the wonton soup. Dry chili pepper chicken was also not good. Super dry pieces of chicken and mostly dry red peppers. Hardly any protein in that dish. Tofu, shrimp and kung pao chicken were good. Cream cheese puffs were good. Lunch portion size seem smaller than other chinese restaurants in the area (I feel you can get more for lunch over at Little Chopstix, for example). In terms of flavor, everything kind of had that same basic szechun pepper flavor/heat. Maybe it's just me, but I was hoping for a variety of flavors and taste. I did like the disposable containers. Restaurant looks awesome inside. Cool decor and ambiance. Would be a cool place to take a date. Maybe dinner and dining in would be better?!

Orange chicken!? But was it though? Fried nuggets with very small dehydrated bits of chicken! Yuck! Good spring roll and Hot and Sour soup - ok! Won't be coming back!

Great Szechuan Chinese food. They are open again and hopefully will survive. It's not your typical American Chinese food but

It's such a great spot if you enjoy sampling different dishes. The space is stunning, especially after the recent remodel. You walk into a beautiful dining area that opens up into a larger space with high ceilings, gorgeous light fixtures, and an airy, open feel. It feels modern, elegant, and welcoming all at once. My favorite dishes were the fried mochi, the duck, soup dumplings, and the pork, each one was flavorful and perfectly portioned for sharing. The dim sum was fresh and beautifully prepared. What really stood out, though, was how friendly and involved the owners are. You can tell they genuinely care about the restaurant and their guests, which makes the experience feel even more special. Everything we tried was delicious, and I can't wait to go back!

If you like sweet and sour chicken, this dish is for you. Chicken mushroom noodle soup was a little bland. But I was sick, and this was filling, warm and heartfelt. They also gave generous amount of black mushroom, which I really like. I would not get this soup if I am not recovering from cold or not sick. Chili oil was also tasty and you can tell it's made in house. But, if you are a vegetarian or don't eat a lot of meat, your options are very limited. Service was fast and you can even scan menu and order directly through the code. Vibes are cool and we went around 4. So it was quiet and chill. We will be coming back!

We ordered the scallion pancakes, Sichuan wonton in chili oil and the Mongolian Beef entree. Everything was delicious! The scallion pancakes were a little bit thinner than I'm used to but the flavor was great especially with the provided sauce. The noodles were excellent just the right consistency that you get out of hand-pulled noodles. The restaurant was overall very quiet and laid back. With pretty artwork and a nice vibe. The window where you can see them making the noodles was a really nice touch. Parking was a little tricky (make sure to park in back) but if you can snag a spot you don't have to worry about street parking. We'll definitely be back one of these days for more noodles!
