For as small as they are, they do a great job.

Just finished lunch with six other people and all of us agreed it was a well done buffet. Good selection of sushi, good assortment of healthy and classic options, as well as a hibachi grill makes this place a great lunch or dinner stop. It was also busy, so you know it's good! The Mongolian beef was my favorite. Tender meat with a delightful sauce and tons of crispy pan seared veggies.

    I guess they don't devein

Great selection of food. Good go to place since the Chinese buffet in Red Wing doesn't seem to be opening its buffet anytime soon.

Food was gross and cold. Only was given one refill, everyone was too busy sitting on their phones. Won't go back.

Great selection, very affordable depending upon how much you want to eat, quiet atmosphere, and the employees are very professional and efficient.

I am struggling between rating this 3 vs 4 stars. I will say my real rating is 3.5 stars, but I…read morewill give them 4 since Yelp still doesn't allow half stars. Overall verdict: give them a try. I assume we will be back. We love HuHot and have been disappointed that there's no HuHot anywhere in the Twin Cities. I found this place and thought it would be a good alternative. I was correct! While I wouldn't say it's better than HuHot, they do some things better. Such as gloves when you are picking your items from the buffet, and free chips and salsa (the salsa is awesome). However, I was nervous to come here due to some of the other reviews, and while I don't agree with all of the negative ones, some of them are correct. The free white rice is incredibly mushy and soggy. I didn't really like it. The pasta itself did end up a bit soggy compared to HuHot, but I still enjoyed it. I do wish they had a few more sauce options and recipes. The flavor was pretty good, but I do sort of agree with some other reviews that I wish there was more flavor. I would encourage you to use more sauce than you think. I also agree that the atmosphere feels slightly dirty/old. The whole place could use a very deep cleaning or remodel. I'm also very upset that they are passing the credit card fee on to customers. That actually gives me pause about potentially not going back more than anything else. However, I did enjoy my meal. So I would guess that we will be back. But due to the credit card processing fee, lack of sauces, and a feeling of uncleanliness, we won't be rushing back anytime soon.

You either choose one bowl ($25) or the unlimited option ($29). Your table will be automatically served wontons crisps and salsa. There are extra menu items you can order beyond the bowl - such as appetizers. You fill the bowl up with as much ingredients you can fit into that sucker and then bring it over to the chefs and they will cook it for you. As I began to fill my bowl, all the memories and techniques I learned came flooding back. Add your protein first. I choose beef and positioned the meat around the outside of my bowl so I could fit more items in it - give that a try. Add in whatever other proteins, veggies, and sauces you'd like and top off with the noodles. I added the dragon sauce to my dish and it was tasty, but I'm warning all my MN locals - beware the dragon sauce. I can handle a little heat, but the two scoops of that sauce had me sweating. I'd definitely go back, but I'd check to find if they have lunch offered at a lesser cost. In a big group, it will get spendy.

I was not a fan of the cream cheese wontons, as the outside used was too thick. The servers were quick and accommodating to our drink requests & cleaning up our finished plates. Beverages are included which was nice. I love getting hot tea. The restaurant was clean & well taken care of. You pay when you first arrive with cash or card (they only take visa and mastercard). Note that if you pay with a card and add a tip, they will just give you cash from the register for the tip amount to leave at your table when you leave. I would bring cash to tip your server with at your table. After paying, you can seat yourself anywhere and a server will come by and take your beverage order. The buffet includes unlimited soft drinks, drip coffee, and hot tea. Their Dr. Pepper is extra syrupy compared to normal fountain drinks, would recommend! Throughout the meal, the server will clear your empty plates and at the end of the meal they will drop off fortune cookies and towelettes. Crab days are Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. During these days they serve lil crabs. There is also a build your own noodle station where you can choose your mix-ins and sauces, and they'll fry it up for you. The fried rice is solid and the garlic toast is shockingly really good. Food is pretty fresh and warm, and there are people constantly refilling trays and cleaning the buffet.

We got there right when it opened and they were plenty of classic options on the buffet. They also have hibachi which I think is a really good touch. I do wish they had coconut macarons as I remember the previous once having them and those were my favorite. I always look for them at buffets. I also wish they had cream cheese wontons instead of just crab rangoons as I don't like crab. We also found the soft serve to be quite icy and not very creamy. We were a group of 4 and it seemed all the tables were for large groups but we didn't want a booth. I'm not sure if that was because it was a holiday or if that is the typical layout. Prices were reasonable, especially for the holiday. We will definitely return.

This is a stand alone restaurant with plenty of free parking! Walking in a noticed the restaurant was very clean, bright and new looking. There is a waterfall that goes into a pond in one of the corners and I definitely thought that was fun!! I also really liked how the serving station was its own "little building" in the center. The vibes here were actually really great! The person who took our money did not talk or smile. But our server was extremely friendly and quick! Always made sure I had my drink filled up and plates were taken away quickly! The food: And this is where it all fell apart. Had the server and the restaurant itself not been great, this would have easily gone to 1 star. I read another review stating "everything here is sweet" and I agree! 90% of there items were very sweet! There was a salad bar but we did not try it. The chicken here is very small pieces with little to no meat, just crunchy coating. The chicken wings had a light crisp to them, and they were large, but lacking any real flavor. There weren't many options for dessert. My biggest complaint was that certain items had "funny" or "strange" flavors to them.... Like the ice cream had a weird after taste. The French fries tasted freezer burned. They did have a kind of create your own stir fry, where you pick the items and someone cooks it (that's included in your price) may be that was better? This just fell short for me. There is a Panda Express going in next door and as much as it kills me to say (I love supporting small businesses) your money would be better spent there....

I have witness more than once when I go there etiquette are not being enforced on people that eat there. During dinner time I went I saw a young boy around the age of 12+ constantly picking food with his hands. At his age he should know better but I feel like the worker working by the food should have said something. He picked a crawfish, crab claw, cookies, and sushi with his bare hands. This same boy also grabbed a bowl, walked around rubbing, fisting the inside of the bowl and proceeded to put back that same bowl back with the clean bowls. Again the worker just watched him and did nothing. A previous time I went I saw a older lady complaining to the old men that works there about how cold the string beans was. When she got done talking to the old men she picked up a wonton with her hand that had gloves on in front of the old men that works there. He said nothing to her. Tongs are there for a reason to pick up food. Another incident a lady dropped a wonton on the ground. Instead of her just leaving it on the ground she thought she was doing good by picking it up and placing on the counter. Little did she know that 5 seconds later a worker picks up that dirty wonton on the counter and puts it back with all of the other wontons. I get the place does not want to be wasteful. However when food is out of the tray and on the counter it should not get placed back with the clean food. They use a all purpose rags to clean the counter. Nasty stuff gets spread from those rags. Now people are eating contaminated food. All of my experiences in this buffet has to be some kind of health violation. It is just beyond nasty. I will not likely go back to this buffet.
