I did a lot of research before finally booking this company, and I'm so glad that I went with them. Their rate per hour and other charges were extremely reasonable and were on the affordable side. I had only seen glowing reviews for them but they also had few reviews and the most recent ones were from several months ago which was a bit concerning for me at the beginning. So if anyone else is concerned about that, let me tell you that there's no reason to be concerned because their team is great. So here's my experience - They had given me an 8am -10am arrival window and they showed up at 8:15. Of course they called ahead and told me they were on their way. They had all the supplies like moving blankets, shrink wrap, tape, dollies, etc. They wrapped and loaded my 1 bedroom apartment right under an hour. We met up at my new apartment which doesn't have an elevator and I live on the top most floor. They climbed up several flights of stairs with all of these heavy boxes and furniture, asked me where I wanted to place stuff, reassembled some furniture all under 2 hours, making my total move right under 3 hours which is SO SO EFFICIENT. I was expecting my move to be longer than that but really the company's name says it all. My dresser came apart a little bit but Carlos immediately fixed it and even offered to fix my poorly assembled nightstand! Carlos and his 2 team members also all wore masks during this pandemic situation. I think their masks got a little bit wet from sweating in this heat and heavy lifting, so I donated a few disposable masks for their future moving jobs too. In short, Carlos and his team made this such a stress-free move during the pandemic, and I'm super grateful to them and I would definitely recommend them to everyone!! read more

EFFICIENT MOVING COMPANY Efficient moving company finished the balance (10%)of my 913 sq ft apartment my office & packed closet, laundry area, (packed) refrigerator, very fragile dishes and glassware my HUGE walk-in closet drapes & all fixtures loaded this big truck and moved me to a 6?? sq ft apartment with a cellar, set up all furniture, bed, kitchen table, living room, office & Worked for 12 hours serving (me)! I of coarse couldn't let these Amazing movers starve. It is (to me) vitality important to provide these hard workers with good food Panera Bread with a dessert! They also had full access to my (very high quality drinks) in my fridge, Reeds Stronger ginger ale, San Pellegrino different flavors, Maple Water, Honest Fizz. In Reality I just cannot say enough Good Things About this moving company! Beyond Excellent!!! PLUS I Very unwise I hide $ in places I forget and when I went into my Huge walk-in closet I found an envelope on the floor with #'s on it picked it up to find $69.00 in cash left on the door also my dressers were loaded with clothes in a drawer I found a $20.00 dollar bill still in this drawer! Carlos met us in Clifton Park NY. about 3.5 hours from Boston. He was on time and he and Jason loaded the truck and transported everything back to Canton MA...on a Sunday! They were very professional and exercised great care in protecting our belongings. We tried to get them to take breaks but they worked straight through and it ended up to be a 12 hour day for them. But the most amazing part was we had a rather large furniture piece which was not able to make a tight turn on the stairs. I had pretty much given up hope and was thinking leave it in the garage and we will try to sell it. But Carlos offered to try to take it apart...I was skeptical at first that he would ever get it back together but I said OK. He patiently disassembled it and they were able to get it in the apartment. When they reassembled it it was perfect. No scratches or dings... like it never happened. That was a huge development...didn't have to sell it and replacing it would have been very expensive. Their rates are reasonable and they work hard to finish the job in a timely fashion. Also very neat and clean. I don't plan on moving anytime soon but, if I did, they would be my movers. I can't think of one thing that could have gone better with this move. read more

I was moving out of a building in the financial district and had moved all my stuff outside waiting for the arrival of my movers (Esquire moving - do not use them). I gave them a call and they were 3 hours+ out and were doubtful they would even make it. Carlos was moving another couple's stuff into my building and from afar, saw me in distress. I have nothing but the highest praise for Carlos and his guys. I cannot imagine how any moving company could have handled my move any better than Efficient Moving did. They handled our office move without a hitch. A+ all around. Towards the end, I had trouble figuring out how to configure some of the furniture in my new office, and Carlos took the time to help me figure it our and rearrange so it would fit better. They treated all of my belongings as if they were their own. They all worked extremely hard to make sure there were no problems. It is not very often that we get to feel really good about a business transaction, but once moving day was over, hiring Efficient Moving was definitely a decision that I felt really good about. I highly recommend Carlos and his team at Efficient Moving Services. We have so far used them twice to move my daughter in the Waltham/Cambridge area. Besides what one would hope for and expect from a moving company (fair price, arriving on time, being careful) they also go above and beyond. When the window A/C unit would not fit properly, Carlos went to his truck, came back with a piece of wood and created a stable base on which to place the A/C unit!!! He did a similar thing in the 2nd move! They moved a dining set into the apartment and noticed the chairs were a bit wobbly so the mover pulled out an electric drill and tightened all the screws on all the chairs!! What other moving company would do that?? BEST. MOVERS. EVER. Carlos and his team moved us in on Monday and they made moving as easy and stress-free as possible! We had a lot of stuff, much more than we accounted for, doubling their day and they were so sweet about everything. The guys arrived right when we expected them with smiles on their faces. They immediately assessed the situation and went right to work. We were generally organized but also had a lot of last minute things. We also had a baby to entertain in the interim and they even made a point to be friendly to her. We had tons of stuff but they managed to tactfully squeeze everything into the truck like a puzzle. These guys were as good as it gets! Efficient is the perfect name for this team! We were met at our door in Boston right before our scheduled time! We were explained the process and our items began swiftly moving out our tiny apartment door into the large truck! This team was careful, kind and respectful of our items and of us. These guys were great! Carlos and his two team members were fast, careful and affordable. They knew what they were doing, all right. Carlos offered advice on placement of furniture that was astute and helpful. Nothing got damaged in any way--not the experience I've had with other movers in the past. I've used Efficient Moving Services 3 times now and I love and trust them. Carlos and his guys are very professional, accommodating, nice, and helpful. The company name is absolutely accurate. They were so efficient that they moved me from a large 3 story house in Brighton to a smaller apartment in Norwood in only approx 3 hours, including travel time! Carlos called to let me know that he was running a little behind, but sent his guys over to my house at the agreed upon time to get started. We moved our office locally. Carlos is as professional as you can get! He called within an hour to give us a quote. His rate was very reasonable. On the day of the move he called and let us know when he would arrive. He was right on time. We have moved several times in the past 10 years and hired quite a few moving services. I can undoubtedly say that efficient movers are the best we have hired so far. They were super easy to schedule, accommodated every request of ours and charged very reasonable rates. These guys are super fast and very professional. They helped us move a dining set with a large China cabinet that we had bought off Craigslist and were very thorough in packing and moving it safely. We just moved from Waltham to Lincoln that also included transporting a dining set with hutch from Andover. Carlos and his men were really good. To begin with, from the first phone call, his rates were very reasonable, rather the least expensive compared to what I heard from other moving people who quoted as much as $175 per hour for 3 men and a truck and something as ridiculous as the time they would start billing would be from the time the people leave the office. Carlos on the other hand did not ask for any minimum hours and accommodated our request well. I would recommend this company to everybody. They arrived early, and jumped into action. They took great care packing the truck, disassembling and protecting and reassembling our furniture. They were very good about making sure all of our items were unloaded into the correct rooms in our new house. All of our contents were thoughtfully packed and protected for our move and for pieces going into storage.
