I called and they came the same day to pick up an old generator and gas grill as well as few other things. The guys that came were respectful and did a great job. I felt their price was in line with this service. Great customer service. read more

Excellent service. Easy to schedule, arrived on time, very fair price. Will hire again.

Had half a truck load of stuff I wanted gone, and now it's gone. Quick and easy scheduling and removal.

Amazing service! I can not say thank you enough to the crews who came and helped us clean/clear out a yard and basement. They broke everything down, so we could fit more. They took their time on a very hot day to do so. 100% recommend them! read more

I had to fly to Boston to prepare my rental property and move out all the old furnitures that were used with my previous tenants. The old furnitures were actually in a great condition..but it's just that my new tenants had their own set of furnitures that they didn't need what was already there. I did some research of furniture move company online and contacted so many places including Mass Junk. I had to say though that my experience working with Mass Junk far exceeded other places that I attempted contact. While other places just didn't pick up my call, reply to email, return my calls or..just plain ghosted me..Mass Junk was the opposite! Will picked up my call, listened to my request/needs and was able to schedule me on the spot..a few days out! It was so painless..and was so communicative about everything from before, day of and after the appointment. His crews were so pleasant and professional, arrived on time and worked as a team to help get me to where I wanted within an hour with my rental property. P.S. their name maybe a bit misleading. They don't just deal with junks but regular furniture items as wll. For me, I didn't really have any junks. Rather, my items were all really useable furnitures and they care enough to help separate items out to ensure those items find second homes rather than going straight to trash (which was what I really cared about in a materialistic society these days!). Thank you! I wholeheartedly recommended their services in the future again! read more

These guys ( Will and everyone in the crew ) were fantastic to work with. Will answered every text and question promptly, scheduled the job rapidly, and charged a very competitive and fair price. The crew went above and beyond and when there was a problem getting a sofa out of a doorway, called in the cavalry and came up with a very creative solution. They were also extremely nice and friendly. I highly recommend this company and they will be my first call if I need these services again read more

It was a fantastic experience working with Mass Junk. The entire team was great. They were prompt, efficient and extremely respectful of my dad's home and all of the items that required removal. If there was ever any question or concern about any item, they put it aside and were sure to ask me before they removed it. Overall, I would highly recommend Mass Junk. read more

My review about Mass junk is 100 percent true these crooks lied & stole so much property from us nearly 4 years later I am still trying to replace the items that were stolen & as far the thief Harry Silverstein when we went to sign the papers we had one hundred eighty thousand in equity but only received one third do not trust these crooks The Judge read more

Had a pile of trash from moving out, I sent a message and they replied super quickly and came to pick up the junk the next day! Very reasonable pricing read more

The guys arrived on time, were very efficient & did no damage when removing stuff. The charges were reasonable as well.

Will and his team were fabulous thru the whole process!! From initial questions to estimate to the clean out day, Will was responsive and helpful every step of the way. I live out of state and had a small window of time in which to clean out my Mom's house to sell. Will and his team made the whole clean out smooth and stress free. I highly recommend them!! read more

These guys were awesome. I messaged them via Yelp to remove a sofa and a VERY HEAVY armoire from our curb and the owner responded within 5 minutes. They were at our place in 45 minutes and were gone in 10. They quoted us the best price of 4 other services we contacted through yelp and got back to us first. The owner and one of his guys came by and the two of them were able to get the armoire in their truck (it took four of us to get it out of the house) with ease. We were very impressed. They take cash, card, or check. I will definitely call them again the next time I need furniture removed! read more

Great job, next-day service, and good price removing an old wooden boat and some construction debris.

Mass Junk came and collected a whole truckload of all kinds of stuff in no time flat. They threw themselves headlong into whatever I asked them to do and had a great attitude. read more

I just used Mass Junk this past Monday and they were phenomenal. Great group of guys, super fast, efficient, friendly, on time. I had to reschedule TWICE on them and they were completely kind and accommodating each time. I got constant updates for their ETA as the snow had them delayed a bit so really, they went above and beyond in terms of keeping the lines of communication open. I HIGHLY recommend Mass Junk - 5 stars! Thank you Mass Junk! read more

Responded quickly, showed up on time for pickup. The price was a little more than I was expecting but I was motivated to get rid of a lot of stuff, and they did a quick, thorough and clean job. Would recommend. read more

Quick response for a quote and service. Made it very easy and stuck to the estimate.

My company used Mass Junk to remove office partitions, very heavy old office desks, and junk from the basement. I was able to get a quote the same day I requested one. The quote they gave us was significantly less than the 2 other quotes we were given. I was able to schedule for NEXT day removal. The crew showed up early and were very nice and understanding of the time frame we had. They did an amazing job, very professional and handled my minor freak out when I couldn't find something (I found it, they had put it aside so they wouldn't take it by accident) very well and were very understanding. Highly recommend this company! read more

We used the online booking form on their website about three weeks ago to request a quote/booking. At the bottom of their website, the text next to the button that links to the scheduling form says that they will respond within 24 hours. When we hadn't heard anything after a week we moved on to other companies. They still haven't reached out - not that it would matter now, since we found someone else who did communicate with us promptly. read more

I wish I could give this place 10 stars, they're absolutely phenomenal. They responded to my request within minutes, and I was able to schedule for the exact day and time that I asked for. I could not be more impressed. Everyone is so friendly, kind, helpful, and they are absolutely the best junker of all service out there. The prices were very competitive as well. I've used a few others, none compared to them, and I will use them moving forward! THANK YOU MASSJUNK!!! read more

My spouse and i were in a bind. Our closing date was pulled in 30 days by our buyer. Our daughter was getting married with one week to go before closing. Our garage and basement were packed. Our backs were against the wall. We didn't know how we were going to pull it all off. We made a special, out of the norm request of Will and Dave and they agreed. On the day of the "haul" they sent a large truck and three polite and VERY hard working guys. After 5 hours of hard work on an incredibly hot day we waved our excess stuff (junk) goodbye. I want to thank Will and Dave for stretching to help me out. They didn't have to do what they did for us. They were responsive, professional and friendly. I did solicit quotes from 2 other companies and the price ended up being almost 40% less than the other two companies. Bottom line. Great company, Great service, Great people, More than fair pricing. 100% recommendation! read more

We had a terrific experience with Mass Junk. They were highly responsive and gave us a reasonable estimate for removing piles of wood and construction debris from under our front porch. The crew was polite and professional and quickly loaded everything onto their truck, and then swept the area clean. Would highly recommend for fast and professional service at a fair price. read more

I requested a quote from Mass Junk for removal of debris from a renovation. Theirs was the MOST COMPETITIVE rate by far. I was blown away by how PROFESSIONAL and FRIENDLY the service was. Three guys showed up next-day (right on time) and completed the job in less than 30 min. I am very grateful and 100% a return customer! read more

We had our old couch removed by Mass Junk. Although the initial appointment time had to be changed by Mass Junk, they kept me informed about the change throughout so that I had plenty of time to rearrange my schedule which was very helpful. When they came, they were in and out with a professional attitude and service. Very satisfied. Will use them again. read more

I recently moved to a new home and had a few items in the old apartment that I didn't want so I reached out to Mass Junk. Brett was awesome. He actually arrived early. I was still en route but he had no problem waiting for me. Once I got there he quickly confirmed, disassembled and carted off all the items I needed gone. He even swept up afterward. SUPER chill, down to earth guy. Whole job took about an hour and was done at reasonable price. I highly recommend Mass Junk for any junk removal needs. read more

We recently moved out of our apartment (which is on the 4th floor with no elevator) and there was a lot of furniture we didn't want to keep. Mass Junk did an awesome job breaking down and removing everything (including a 200+ lb treadmill). The team was prompt, fast, easy to communicate with, and professional. We would definitely use this service again. read more

This was my second (2nd) time scheduling a removal of old items by MassJunk. This time I sent request through the email/web form, got an email response and so we got it scheduled and confirmed by text for Sat. 11/30/19 pick up. And I had everything ready, and actually they were a bit early so naturally my elderly mum naturally went up the attic to get holiday decorations dug out, even though I told her they were pulled up/arrived for the pick up, and I begged her to hold off until they left. The team leader, Brett/Britt was nice and understood that I feared leaving her to write out check/fearing she would fall -- he said they would bill me/invoice me. I gave him card/just in case but email/bill came on computer with correct quoted price and I sent it right out and got a thank you email back. They are a great and reliable company and I will be using them again I'm sure at some point. read more

Mass Junk - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me - Melrose, Massachusetts

To expedite purchasing a house, I agreed to allow the seller to leave possessions in the house. I had 850 sq ft of living space + basement + garage, all so full of stuff that I didn't even notice that there was an old stove and washing machine underneath it all. They cleaned out old furniture, liquid paint, ladders, TVs, ... I was amazed. I thought I would need to box everything up, but they came in with barrels and just hauled everything away. They showed up exactly when they said they would. I forgot to tell them about the basement and garage. No problem! They came back the next morning with more trucks and more people (all very hard-working, professional, and friendly), and cleared it all away by the following afternoon, leaving the place completely empty, even swept up. I doubt anyone would have done it for less money. read more

I have been dumping quite a bit of money on storage units for my mother's and mine's things that I don't have room for in Beacon Hill. After 5 years, I don't think I am ever going to need whatever is being storaged, so I neeed help clearing out the units and donating/tossing anything non-essential. Throw into the mix that I am vacating the state in 2 weeks, and you have a receipe for disaster. I called MassJunk based on reviews here on Yelp. I needed someone with a truck that could come and help carry boxes that I could not lift, but still be patient while I dug through them for anything with sentimental value. That was Stephen and his guy(I am sorry, I don't remember your name) for sure! When I called Stephen up he quoted me a good flat price with a discount for mentioning Yelp! He was able to work me in that weekend, and on Sautrday morning at 8AM, we started clearing out the junk. We ended up filling his truck, and he hauled it away for donation. Overall, I am very pleased with how quick, affordable, and easy the whole process was. read more

I had a great experience with Mass Junk. They were super polite and gave me a fair price. They removed junk from three different areas of my house and even swept the porch when they were done which was a mess from debris from a kitchen and bathroom renovation we had just completed. read more

I needed some crap gone from my place and I needed it gone fast. I have issues with my back so I can't lift heavy furniture down several flights of stairs. My friends gave me the numbers of some of the big name junk removal services but I couldn't fathom spending upwards of $300 to remove stuff that was just going to go to a landfill anyways! Enter Mass Junk. I called them in the evening, they were there at 9AM the next day. They quoted me a price that was dramatically lower than the quotes I got from the big name services. This is an independent business, the guy who runs it comes himself with another guy. Both were friendly, professional and courteous. I found them very trustworthy and not sketchy at all. This is a must when you are letting strangers into your house! All in all a great experience. I feel good knowing I supported an affordable local business. I would use them again and recommend them to my friends. read more
