We got in there before a rush and were able to order a brisket sandwich, full rack of ribs and some Cajun fries. Wish we could have eaten it there! Take out is pretty much always a fraction of the experience you would have had dining in. The fries didn't travel well. The ribs were tasty but for the price it probably won't be a reorder, partially due to the pricing, and partially due to my personal preference for more fall-off-the-bone ribs. I really like their bbq sauce! Top marks there. My favorite was probably the brisket sandwich. I liked the cole slaw, really liked the mac and cheese too. Would probably try their bbq baked beans next time. The service was great. Very helpful and accommodating. The restaurant can host large groups of people and is open on Sundays. If you are craving some bbq and you've got a big party and/or it's Sunday, this place is a good bet! read more

So I did not have the same experience as others here. Day after Fourth of July . Came in and not busy . Had brisket , sausage and pulled pork combo with coleslaw and dubs beans with spicy bbq sauce . While I prefer low and slow with a lot of smoke rings all food was hot and delicious . Brisket was pull apart and moist, hot links with peppers and onions great , pulled pork not fatty and very tasty . Coleslaw was vinegar based with a little sweet pickled onions very tasty (how I make mine in fact) beans were very good and hot tasty good seasoned. Wife which is usually more picky with her pork loved it ate every bite. She had sweet potato tots and we shared the hush puppies . Altogether had a great experience. Maybe if your getting fried foods eat there because they never travel well and always with bbq never show up end of the day in my experiences. read more

**Local here! EVERYTHING you need to KNOW about DUB's Barbecue!!!** I went to dubs expecting some great meaty and tasty sandwiches and it was very disappointing. I ordered the BBQ Brisket Sandwich and the Southern Fried Catfish Sandwich. As you can see there was no effort whatsoever put into these pieces. The "fried" catfished was not freshly fried, it had tasted like it was air-fried to reheat it and the batter and fish was tasteless. No seasoning whatsoever. The only tasty thing about the sandwich was the tartar sauce and even that wasn't anything worth buying. There were no accompanying vegetables like lettuce, or tomato, or pickles, NOTHING. The BBQ Brisket was a disgusting and amateur try at a brisket. There was no flavor and it was definitely not fresh. This brisket tasted like it was cooked a couple days ago and reheated in the microwave for service. It didn't even come cooked in barbecue, but they give you a side of store-bought barbecue to apply yourself. Then again no accompanying ingredients, no onions, lettuce, cheese, nothing! It was dry, cool, and horrific. Not to mention that BOTH of these sandwiches were indeed NOT HOT! A brisket is served HOT. A fried fish is served HOT! And the bread?? That bread was an average store bought bread, I swear I've bought it at Walmart before. And as for the sides?! They give you a choice of a side for any sandwich you buy and these things are legit 6oz! Not even a hefty scoop of a side, more like a sample and a half from Costco. Not to mention that the Mac and cheese taste exactly like Lin's Mac and cheese, DUBs is just less fresh than Lin's. Service was great and the people were nice. But the organization lacks effort, it lacks creativity. I rather spend $30 on 6 Big Mac's than eat this dread for $28 dollars. If you're a local or a visitor, don't try and stop by. Just read the menu, see what looks tasty and go make it yourself at home. It'll be cheaper, tastier, and surprisingly not cold to the taste. read more

We walked by to get to another store and the smell dragged us in. It was heavenly. The ribs were incredible and juicy and with the traditional bbq sauce, I'd say worthy of a king. AND THE MAC AND CHEESE! Best I've had from a bbq joint is a long time! My wife had the brisket sandwich, originally planning to take some home because it was so big. That didn't happen, she finished it there cause it was so good! The service was amazing. The kids behind the counter were super nice and made sure everything, down to our drinks, were all to our liking. They even brought the food out to our table after ordering. The atmosphere was nice, we loved seeing all the family pictures and bbq theme decor! It felt homey. My only critic is not having some wet wipes to clean off after having those ribs, but easy fix with just washing hands after. 10/10 customer service 10/10 ambiance 100/10 food quality and flavor Absolutely will be returning next time we're in town! read more

I preferred the half rack which they called "Babies" but to me they were regular sized and the combo came with 2 sides, I chose a green salad and green beans. We decided we would try this place out because most of the reviews about their food were positive and we are always up for good barbecue! After walking in, not being greeted by the lady behind the counter even after we said "hello", we still stuck it out just thinking she's busy filling a barbecue sauce bottle and will help us in just a few minutes. While we started to review the menu a lady with with blue hair came around the corner, passed by us without acknowledging we were there or checking to see if we'd been helped. Which was okay because we saw she had some cleaning supplies in her hands and figured she was just putting them away. Well, she went into the kitchen and started cussing up a storm about other employees who work there. Needless to say first impression was not impressive. After hearing about how she was going to kick someone's ass we decided we would rather not have that negativity anywhere around our food. We should have just expected something like this when we saw the empty dining room. Lots of meat on a tasty bun. I would have it again. The wife had the fried Catfish and enjoyed it. I would not get the Cajun fries again. I did not like the seasoning and I normally like spicy food. Delicious bbq right here in the middle of St. George. Started off the the meal for four and got the catfish, spare ribs, bbq ribs, and the brisket. Man the catfish was so delicious. Nicely breaded and super crispy leaving the white meat fish super soft. I wished we doubled up on the catfish. The spare ribs and bbq ribs were good and had a nice Smokey flavor. It was a bit dry for me but their spicy and original bbq sauce was to die for. The brisket wasn't our favorite. It lacked flavor but the meat was moist. We had the potato salad and Mac and cheese. Dubs is always good! You will not go wrong with brisket and pulled pork. Their baby back ribs are quite dry, but I'm sure that is random and not always like that. I just personally wouldn't order them again. My favorite by far is the brisket. Everyone loves their Mac and cheese, I like their coleslaw..it's more vinegar without mayo. Potato salad is mustard based and really good. We all love their baked beans as well. read more

I ate half of it. 3/5 -- Sweet Potato Tater tots: I was a little disappointed in the tater tots. Not because it wasn't good but because it was hyped up so much I was expecting it to be amazing. I wanted to dip it in something but nothing complimented it well. I tried ketchup, ranch, and BBQ sauce. I ended up eating it dry. 4/5 -Service: Friendly. The cashier told us it would take about 10 minutes for us to get our food because of the wings (my husband ordered). We waited almost 20 minutes. Good hometown, local BBQ in a strip mall setting. Pricing was outstanding and there was a great selection of both meat and sides on the menu. They use real stick pits so the meat takes on a good color and char. The brisket was served chopped (she told us sliced but chopped was good too.) there were burnt ends mixed in and we got a good variety of the softer meat and the bark, making for good food. The pulled pork was equally as good. For sides we tried the fries (great), the rice (good, not great) and the mashed sweet potatoes. Those were the hit. Pricing was fantastic for good, fresh, home cooked bbq. I was expecting much less food for what we paid but the plates were heaped. The only thing I didn't see or thought I wanted was a piece of cornbread or a roll to wipe up the sauce. Speaking of sauce, great! The vinegar base and the spicy were my two favorites. The second location is closed. Arrived at the Sunset location with family in tow. The place was typical BBQ, picnic looking tables, a man playing a guitar and singing( sitting in the corner). A few people waiting for food and one group was eating. The smell was inviting, however, the service was less than welcoming. The guy at the register and the older lady, were having harsh words, with each other. We were never greeted. As we looked at the menu (sitting right near to the counter), I looked around the place and noticed ...the air vents were filthy, the glass in the doors was grimy, floors and moldings were in desperate need of mopping, and the countertop was pretty trashed. We could not ask any questions about the menu, because the cashier was busy arguing with the lady. There were customers complaining that their order was placed 30 minutes prior, and they were told that it takes time to make the food. Another customer asked to have the food packages to go and the lady told them that it was almost ready, and they should just sit and enjoy the music. That made the customer anxious and she demanded the food packages to go. The tables were never checked and not a single order was handed out (while we sat for over 20 minutes). When I asked the cashier a question, he advised me to wait, and he asked then group behind me to come forward and place their order. Then he made sure to tell them, that the orders are taking 30-40 minutes. At this point... we left. read more
