Great place! This was our first time and we are already planning our next visit. The quality of the food is exceptional. Definitely a good value for the portions. The owner is on site and has clearly has passion for making the recipes unique but not so extravagant that it's spiced out of good taste. The seating is casual and comfy. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Two thumbs up!

Amazing wife of the owner was so nice and welcoming! The steak and eggs were great and the locals seemed to joke and have fun with the owner. Nice ambiance and patriotic

I genuinely think this French toast changed me as a person. The crunch on the outside?? INSANE. Like perfectly golden, crispy, caramelized heaven while the inside stayed soft and fluffy. Every bite had that satisfying crunch that made me immediately understand why it's called French Toast Crunch. I actually had to pause after the first bite because my brain needed a second to process how good it was. I would fight traffic, cancel plans, and cross state lines for this plate again.

Hands down, some of the best burgers and sandwiches in town. This spot feels like a hidden gem--but it deserves way more attention. The specialty coffee alone is worth the visit. They offer thoughtful alternative options on the menu (not the usual afterthoughts), and their breakfast creativity genuinely stands out. Bold flavors, quality ingredients, and zero shortcuts. And the real win? Breakfast all day. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out.

This restaurant was very impressive! The service was great, atmosphere was clean with a positive vibe. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was one of the best I have ever tasted. My husband enjoyed his breakfast sandwich as well, noting the quality ingredients and fresh flavors. This place has definitely earned our repeat business.

Love this place! Super patriotic - military photos and artwork all over the place, and many of their food items have clever military names. Really friendly staff. Had a burger (Frontline Burger?) and it was excellent. And the fries are a cross between a steak fry and a potato chip - quite good. Great job, Liberty Cafe!

Liber-Tea is phenomenal

Great food, coffee, tea and service. The atmosphere is not too loud, plenty of seating. This is a hidden breakfast gem.

I came up on this place searching yelp believe it or not so I decided to give it a try. First off very impressed and the atmosphere was great. The staff was very accommodating and always checked up on us. I was able to get the Charlie Foxtrot Sierra and highly recommend! Very big fan of this place and will definitely come back!

Wow. What a breakfast sandwich. I have like 12 more hours to my destination and that's kind of a bummer but then I had this breakfast sandwich and realized I can do anything.

Service was excellent! So quick, fresh, and amazing We asked about the drinks and received great help in choosing! Can't recommend it more!!

We wrapped up spring break by discovering an absolute gem in St. George--Liberty Cafe. The menu is incredible, but the hospitality and service are what truly set it apart. The owner and staff personally checked in on every table, making sure each guest felt welcomed and heard. If you're looking for a delicious brunch, impeccable service, and a genuinely friendly atmosphere... Liberty Cafe is a must

Perfectly crispy onion rings!

Liberty cafe is awesome! We stopped for a late lunch while passing through. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They had gluten free buns as an option for my burger, which I always appreciate, so I'm sure they could use that to make other menu items gluten free as well as the hamburgers. I got the basic burger and my husband tried the B3 bomber. Both were tasty! But check out the perfectly crispy onion rings! Can't wait to come back and try their coffee and breakfast items next time we pass through. Nice calm decor without obnoxious music turned up like most places now. You can actually converse and the environment is calm and nice. Definitely check it out.

From the moment we arrived, every dish was exceptional. The salad was fresh and beautifully prepared, the pork belly was absolutely outstanding, and the steak was cooked to perfection with the most incredible seasoning. Every bite was memorable. The biscuit was unreal--warm, comforting, and honestly one of the best I've ever had. What touched me most was the homemade ice cream. One spoonful instantly brought me back to childhood memories of my dad making homemade ice cream for us when we were kids. It was such a special and unexpected gift to relive those moments. But what truly made the evening unforgettable was our server, Parthee. She was absolutely amazing. Her kindness, attentiveness, and genuine warmth made us feel so welcomed and cared for. She didn't just provide excellent service--she made our night. Our family has been through a lot, including the heartbreaking loss of my sister. Father's Day hasn't always been easy for my sweet dad since then. This evening gave us something precious: a new happy memory together. Parthee, thank you for your compassion and for helping create a beautiful moment for our family during a difficult season of life. We are so grateful, and we will never forget it.

We placed our appetizer and drink orders and later dinner. We simply ordered the trout, crab Mac and cheese and I ordered the duck. The Water Mellon Pork belly came out first. The pork belly was tough and hard not like times past. We really needed a steak knife and 1/2 of the 2 portions we ordered was not edible. The trout and crab mac came out and I waited and waited not 10 min but nearly 30 minutes for the duck. I spoke to our waitress and I think the manager and they kept saying it takes more time to prepare. At about 25 minutes I canceled my duck as my wife and friend were done with their meal. I was given just excuses and no explanation. I suggested that since they KNOW the duck takes longer to prepare they should have started that first. I was told by the two I spoke too that they put in the order and it's started in that order so my duck was last. So the so called Chef's who should know the duck takes longer blew it along with the wait staff. In every restaurant setting I've been in, the chef would to start what takes longer first so the table of two or more would be served at the SAME time. But not here at Wood Ash Rye. As mentioned this was one of at least four other times here. But in our years absence, the familiar faces were gone, the so called Chefs looked like line cooks and the wait staff was clueless on how to make things right. Sad....we won't be back.

After finding Cliffside and being sold on the view we were not disappointed. We sat outside b/c although we got there at 5pm opening time, they only had space for us on in the Cliff! My husband is allergic to fish and was going to get the Chicken Fried Chicken; but they fry it in the same oil as their fish. I appreciated them letting us know this ahead of time. The cashier even double-checked our order to make sure everything was correct, which I always appreciate. Fresh, delicious, and served at the right temperature. It tasted like the Culver's we remember so fondly. In contrast to the other St. George Culver's at 2134 Sunset Blvd, the dining room here was clean and well-kept, with tables that didn't look like they'd been ignored throughout the day. The service matched that same energy. Only downside: they don't sell the Reuben here. But honestly, everything else on the menu tastes just as delicious anyway!

This visit, driving back to LA from Monument Valley. Also made a pit stop for gas. The location is just off the freeway in a little strip with a hotel. Which I've stayed at and tried this place for the first time. It's alway packed here so it's a good thing for them. It was about 30 minutes wait when we walked in but got seated around 10 minutes later. Busy of course. Menu wise, there's literally everything on it. It's like reading a newspaper. There was three of us and a mixture of meals was had. I alway love the chicken fried steak here. It's a massive potion so be warned. There's a smaller order but why not go big. That's served with gravy, house potatoes or hash browns, eggs and biscuits. The biscuits alone is the size of a baseball. Then the tri tip meal with onion rings and cole slaw. And a chicken Cobb salad. Let me just say, the size of the salad was enough to feed 2 maybe 3 people. It was enormous. Food wise, everything was good. The only thing this time, the chicken fried steak was a bit overcooked and crunchy. Even with the gravy, it was still too much. But besides that, the meal was nice. Service was amazing. Our waitress was excellent. Don't remember her name but she was so sweet and friendly. Refills were always touched up without asking. Everyone working was a doll. You pay at the register up front where there's also a little gift shop with everything. Apparels, toys, souvenirs, slippers down to boxers and pajamas. So it's like a must each time we past through this area.
