This place is amazing! I found this place on Yelp when I was looking for a dinner option for us after soaking at Zion Canyon. This place is literally right across the street! Plenty of parking too, though it's not very well lit. We arrived pretty close to their posted closing time, but they were still welcoming everyone in and happily taking orders. The place was packed! The staff is super friendly! We ordered a carnivore pizza for the 3 of us to share and we also got some of their ranch for dipping. My oldest got a refillable soda, my youngest tried one of their Italian sodas and I enjoyed a nonalcoholic Athletic Brewing beer! We were also able to dine in as well! Love the decor. They have art displayed and also for sale! The pizza was perfect, and dipped in the ranch...wow. Some of the best we've ever had! I would not hesitate to visit this place again! Highly recommend!
We tried a few of their hot breakfast items, a ham and cheese croissant (has spicy mayo), the bagel sandwhich, and breakfast burrito that came with a side of salsa. Everything was so good and fresh! Came out fairly quickly. We also got their iced coffees and a frappe, they come out very sweet, so if you like it less sweet, order accordingly! Views were great while eating our breakfast. We ate out on the deck, a few flies but that happens when you're outside. Great food with great views and reasonably priced.
Coffee here was great, but I was so disappointed in the Phuket Pizza (my fault for ordering it I guess). The Phuket pizza was basically like generic Asian salad grocery kit dumped onto a cheese pizza. I was not expecting that much ingredients and should've looked up pictures and reviews on here. I immediately had regret and wished I ordered the barbecue chicken instead. Not sure how this was particularly even Thai inspired. I liked the crust at least, and my boyfriend enjoyed the margherita pizza. View of the canyon were great on the patio too, kinda crazy how right by the cliff this restaurant was. I'm rounding up to 4 stars because the frappe we had was genuinely good - you can taste the coffee and it wasn't overpowered by the sweeteners. Wish we had time to stop by for more in the mornings, but we started early in Zion. So overall, stick to more classics here and you probably won't be as disappointed as I was.
We stopped by here around 9 to get breakfast before stopping by the hot springs across the street! It's situated in a very convenient spot. The people are very friendly here and we had a nice time soaking in the sights from the back patio area. Be warned - it can be windy, so bring a layer! The food and coffees were honestly just okay, but we didn't have too high of expectations either. I think the quiche and burrito could have been heated up hotter. It came out fairly quickly even with quite a few people waiting. The cinnamon roll was unlike any I've had before - a bit breadier and the cream cheese icing cuts the sweetness. I'd recommend giving it a try to see what the hypes about!

My boyfriend and I LOVED River Rock. We were staying in a near by Airbnb and our host recommended. We came here everyday during our stay. The cold brew was so good (I got in with both vanilla and lavender separately with oat milk and both were tasty. For food, my favorite breakfast was the bagel sandwich with sausage. They put a siracha mayo on it which was sooo good and the eggs were scrambled and fluffy. It kept me full during the hikes we took. The cinnamon bun was SO good. I even brought one back home to CT for my mom. The other breakfast I had was the ham and cheese croissant with egg which was also very good, I love the cheddar cheese they use. The staff was so very friendly - especially felt welcomed by Eli, Regina and Stephen. Would highly recommend if you are in the area!!

It's sooo good everytime we come visit Zion we stop by here to munch brought my family and they loved it as well. We came the next day for breakfast as well the service is pretty fast too so we didn't have to wait long at all for our order .

WOW! The view from the back patio is incredible, definitely come here if you are going to be in town. We got food and coffee, both were delicious. The coffee isn't very sweet at all so if you are wanting something sweater take advantage of their sugar station with simple syrup. The cinnamon roll that is a local favorite was delicious, the icing wasn't super sweet which complimented the sweetness from the bread nicely. The breakfast burrito was a good size and very flavorful and the bacon corn green chile quiche was delicious. Everyone was very nice behind the bar and bringing out food. Will definitely be back on our next visit.
I'm big on coffee to start my morning, especially before a day in the parks and I also was nearby to drop my dog off for daycare so I through I'd stop by. They have a huge selection of coffee drinks and make a very good Americano if you just need the kick without everything else. My wife got an Iced Vanilla Latte that she was very happy with as well. The staff were doing very well for it being as busy as it was, even for weekdays but still were very helpful and pleasant. Give them a try!
Food was great and came out super quick! Their cinnamon roll is really unique and a staple to try! The views were phenomenal and price was very affordable!

Spectacular view. Come early around 7:30am to avoid a crowd and enjoy a peaceful breakfast with an amazing view. Service is fast and staff are friendly. Food is amazing. The Breakfast Burrito had great flavor and was very filling. The Cinnamon Roll was very rich and smooth. Enough for 2 ppl. The Raspberry Matcha was decent. This spot completely exceeded my expectations! The views are absolutely breathtaking, I stopped here on my way back to Vegas from Duck Creek Village, and choosing the outdoor seating was a no-brainer. You get to enjoy your coffee and food while soaking in the scenery; it honestly felt like a perfect little mountain escape. Service was top notch, friendly, welcoming, and fast. The cashier was so kind and patient while I looked over the menu, which has a nice variety and flexibility. You can tell they really care about the customer experience here. I started with an espresso shot that was smooth, rich, and full-bodied, exactly what I needed for the drive home. Then I ordered a vanilla latte, and it was amazing, creamy, perfectly balanced, and packed with flavor. I also had the margherita pizza, and it was spot on! The crust was crisp yet soft inside, with a perfect chew and that wood-fired flavor that's hard to beat. The whole place smells like freshly roasted coffee you can even catch the aroma from the street as you drive by, which instantly pulls you in. The interior and outdoor spaces are super clean, comfortable, and inviting, with plenty of seating. It can get a little crowded, but the energy feels lively in a good way. And yes, clean bathrooms, which is always a plus when you're on the road! Overall, this is one of those hidden gems that makes you want to plan your route just to stop again. Authentic matcha! Fast service! Very friendly and courteous. It is a nice quaint place to have breakfast. Although we did not eat a big breakfast, we did see the other dishes being served and they looked delicious . We got to eat outside while watching the river down below. read more
Great recommendation from my Air BnB host. Stopped in for breakfast. First off, the coffee is delicious. Just a dark roast drip for me today, but it was excellent. Got a bagel sandwich sub in sausage, and wow! Excellent. Hot fresh, full of flavor. Friendly service, served fast. A great start to the day. If I was I. We came here three times during our visit for the convenience/good hours, very friendly service, good food, and great views. This place takes good care of you. They have a selection of breakfast bagel sandwiches, baked goods like scones and cookies (didn't personally look that great), pizzas, salads, sandwiches and coffees/teas/alcohol. We enjoyed the bagel sandwiches, salads (lots of spinach), and tuna salad sandwich with chips. They also sell hats, water bottles, shirts, stickers, their coffee, etc. with their branding. When you order, you get a number and put it at your table. Service isn't super fast but they also can get pretty busy, being one of the authentic places for food and drink in the area. Private parking lot available. It's a great any meal option if you're staying in Hurricane or La Verkin and en route to or from Zion. (But if you're looking for a bite earlier than 6:30, go to Deep Creek in Springdale instead.) read more

I look forward to coming to RRR after a nice long day of hike near Zion. River Rock Roasting Company is hands-down our favorite lunch spot near Zion National Park. After a morning of hiking, this place hits perfectly. The pizza is delicious, fresh, and super satisfying, and their beer selection is excellent, coffee is fantastic as well exactly what you want when you're winding down and refueling. Everything we've tried has been consistently good, and the quality really stands out. Service is always great. The vibe and the VIEWS so relaxed and welcoming making it a great stop whether you're a local or visiting Zion. It's the kind of place you end up talking about afterward and planning to come back to. If you're in La Verkin or exploring Zion, do yourself a favor and stop here. Great food, great beer, and a great break from the trail. read more
While traveling to Zion, I struggled to find good, locally owned restaurants. I was so excited to find River Rock Roasting Co. It was everything I was looking for. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was everything you hope for. The pistachio latte was my absolute favorite! I went several days in a row for this drink! The bagel sandwich was the perfect breakfast before a long hike. Everything about the sandwich home made! The bagel bread is soft, the eggs are real (I cannot stand egg beaters or frozen eggs). The bacon was real (not microwaved) and the perfect amount of cheese! The porch views are amazing and a great way to enjoy your coffee and breakfast. Cannot recommend this place enough! read more

Food: Amazing! I had the Phuket Thai pizza and it was so tasty! Very unique! My kids had Cheese and Pepperoni pizzas and said they were great! They are probably big enough for 2 people. We had several slices leftover. Service: Counter ordering, take a number and they bring food to your table. We probably waited 15-20 minutes for food and it was pretty busy. Ambiance: Casual but great views! Great experience overall!! read more

We stopped by for a pre-sunset snack and this a cute location with a beautiful outdoor backdrop from the back patio. Between waiting to order and getting our food, everything took about 30 minutes. We shared a special of the day which was a chile and queso dip which was great. But the main reason we came was to try their huge cinnamon rolls and it was fantastic! Super big and very filling, you'll need 2 people to finish this thing. Take your food outside and enjoy the views which were amazing. We did see a lot of people order the pizza which also looked great so we would definitely try that next time we are back. A great pit stop to add on if you're in the area! read more

Yes. We just got 4 pizzas and 2 salads yesterday around 5:30. They told us as long as the order is placed by 8, good to go.
Are they dog friendly outside on the patio?
Yes, there a couple of very friendly dogs with very friendly customers when I was there.
