We've been coming here regularly for lunch for over a year. When we first found this brewery, we absolutely loved it. The staff was fantastic, the food was consistently great, and it quickly became one of our favorite spots. We especially love the Juicy IPA and the club sandwich. Unfortunately, over the past year we've noticed a steady decline in both the service and the overall dining experience. The current staff is always friendly, but service has become consistently slow and often inattentive. As I'm writing this, we've been sitting on the patio with our kids for 25 minutes, and it's been 15 minutes since we ordered drinks that still haven't arrived. The food is still good, but it feels like it has lost some of the simple quality that made us keep coming back. What makes this disappointing is that we genuinely want to support this place. It's great to have a local brewery in St. George. We love the outdoor seating, the family-friendly atmosphere, the board games, the TVs for sports, and that we can comfortably bring our kids. Sadly, despite being the closest brewery to us, we rarely come anymore because we know we need to budget close to an hour just to get our food. We really hope management can get things back to where they were, because this used to be one of our favorite places in town. read more

We had a great experience at Silver Reef Brewing. The food was fresh, flavorful, and paired perfectly with their drinks. The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. The ambiance was relaxed, clean, and had a great brewery atmosphere that made it easy to hang out and enjoy the experience. Tired, hungry, and in need of a shower after a weekend away, off grid camping at one of our favorite places in Utah....we looked to Yelp. Silver Reef Brewing seemed like a good match. First impressions: the parking was spacious, especially with our big rig. And we were somewhat out of the city traffic, and close enough to the freeway, also a plus. Upon arrival, the brewery was clean and the staff was friendly; perfect for my chatty partner. I believe the server had moved from the east coast, NY, maybe... The burgers, and brews we ordered, hit the spot, the fries were thick cut and we agreed that we would definitely return here in the future. read more

Cool Spot! Food was yummy, Service was Great (Jen was our waitress and she was super friendly and helpful and just the best!), and the environment was nice! We sat in the entry area rather than the main brewery section just because we had road tripped to Utah and still had a bit more to go - so we were there strictly for lunch and food rather than a drink. Jen was very attentive and informative and great with suggestions. The food was quick to be prepared and were good - we left full, happy and rejuvenated for the last bit of our trip to our air bnb and to start our extended weekend visiting family in Utah. Just when you think you made a wrong turn the brewpub shows up as it is in an industrial business area. Cute little seating area for the restaurant as it is just adjacent to the brewing and packing area. Service was quick and very able to answer your questions and the food was very good. If you get the cajon burger ask for extra napkins as you will be making a mess as you eat. We also got the pork belly app and an IPA and Hefeweizen which were all excellent but we were so hurry we forgot the pictures. They also have an outside seating area that is tented for shade. read more

This was the 2nd time we have gone for an early dinner at 6pm and had a 40 min wait! There were plenty of empty tables so I'm not sure why the wait was such. We used to love this place but now the service sucks. We left and had a great meal someplace else! we won't be going back again. read more

Oct 2014 Somehow, I forgot to review our visit to this restaurant/ brewery. There's a smaller indoor dining area with tables for 4 and a large outdoor patio. In October they do Oktoberfest We heard the fish & chips were great so Dan had that. It was overcooked to the point of being dark Brown. Bad! My adult daughter had a sandwich secretly liked. I don't recall what I had. The beer taster was great. I like the dark beer. BH Black Lager German was delicious. I like creamy non bitter dark beers. You can also taste hard liquor and they have many types like Bourbon They also have a couple wines they grow, Rose and Red. Maybe more. I have not tried the wines yet. But would like to. read more

We recently visited Silver Reef Brewing Co. in St. George. The atmosphere was what you'd expect from a typical brewery with a small indoor seating with a tented outdoor area for additional space. It had a relaxed, casual vibe that worked well for our group. We started with the fried pickles to share, and they were absolutely delicious, crispy, fresh, and perfectly fried. Definitely a highlight of the meal! I ordered the BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato) with a side of fries. The sandwich was a good size with the right amount of ingredients, though overall it was pretty basic. Still satisfying, just nothing particularly unique. My husband ordered a beer flight that included Agua Fresca, Agua del Diablo, Silver lady, and a Hefeweizen. His favorite by far was the Silver lady as it stood out as the most enjoyable of the four. Since he's vegan, he also ordered the veggie pizza without cheese. It was topped with tomato, a small amount of mushrooms and bell peppers, along with pesto sauce. The pizza was fairly simple, with each slice getting a bit of veggies, but overall it was pretty basic. The service was okay. There were five of us in our party, and one order was mixed up. We didn't mention it, but it might help if the server wrote down orders instead of trying to memorize them. This brewing company is an up and rising star for St. George! We went with family and it was a very enjoyable experience. They have inside and outside seating with a beautiful view of the red mesas. The food was reasonable in price and portion with great flavor and quality. They brew their own root beer as well as a wide variety of alcohols for those who love the taste. For those who don't they have a decent menu of unique drinks. My only gripe was just that our waitress was a little spotty on attendance of our table, and the location is a little out there, but still a very good experience. read more

Disappointing Service Overshadowed the Experience Our visit here was unfortunately marked by poor service from the start. After being seated on the patio, we were completely forgotten -- no greeting, and no water until I went inside to find the host myself. Another party seated at the same time received prompt service and their drinks well before we were even acknowledged. When our server, Shelly, finally arrived, she seemed distracted and disengaged. Throughout the meal, I had to ask multiple times for water and basic attention, which made the experience frustrating rather than relaxing. The patio itself was pleasant, but good ambiance can't make up for inattentive service. We ate there a couple of months ago and ordered two spicy hamburgers medium rare for about 20 bucks each. What we got were two well done burgers that were hard. I couldn't eat mine. when the waitress asked how the meal was we said the burgers were so over cooked,hard and not edible. They refunded us 10.00 dollars. We had no idea what this restaurant was in town even with my husband working right down the road. The atmosphere was amazing and very relaxed with some unexpected live music being played in the outdoor seating section. I had a great recommendation on a drink sampler and was able to try a couple different beers they brew on site, and the pork belly was delicious. We ran into one tiny problem with my burger being under done but our waiter Vance went above and beyond to make sure the issue got fixed.
