The chicken sandwich was not great either, chicken was dry and kind of hard to eat. The garlic parm fries though? Amazing. Get those as your side. We also had the Guavala and the Hef, both were really good and a steal at $6 each. They also have a small store front with no prices, frustrating. Stopped here last minute while driving through Utah with my dog and puppy and we had the best time! Before we could even sit down a lovely gal who had just gotten off shift stopped to say hi and love on the pups! She gave me some great recommendations and they did not disappoint! I sat on the patio with the two pups and also got some work done on the computer which was just what i needed! It took about 10 minutes to get seated outside under a canopy . Our server Thor was awesome and attentive he explained the laws if we just wanted a flight of beer. We stopped in for a quick flight of beer on a Saturday afternoon and they were quite busy.. we were quoted a 15 minute wait. It's small inside so a majority of the seating is outside under a permanent tent structure. We were sat at an outside table and our server, Thor, came over. He explained the limitations of their pub license and that food must be ordered to consume alcoholic beverages. We ordered a flight of beers and when they arrived we ordered a side of garlic fries. The fries were delivered in less than 2 minutes and were not even remotely warm and they were accompanied with a sauce that didn't really compliment the garlic and Parmesan flavors. Tired, hungry, and in need of a shower after a weekend away, off grid camping at one of our favorite places in Utah....we looked to Yelp. Silver Reef Brewing seemed like a good match. First impressions: the parking was spacious, especially with our big rig. And we were somewhat out of the city traffic, and close enough to the freeway, also a plus. Upon arrival, the brewery was clean and the staff was friendly; perfect for my chatty partner. I believe the server had moved from the east coast, NY, maybe... Cool Spot! Food was yummy, Service was Great (Jen was our waitress and she was super friendly and helpful and just the best!), and the environment was nice! We sat in the entry area rather than the main brewery section just because we had road tripped to Utah and still had a bit more to go - so we were there strictly for lunch and food rather than a drink. Jen was very attentive and informative and great with suggestions. The food was quick to be prepared and were good - we left full, happy and rejuvenated for the last bit of our trip to our air bnb and to start our extended weekend visiting family in Utah. In October they do Oktoberfest We heard the fish & chips were great so Dan had that. It was overcooked to the point of being dark Brown. Bad! My adult daughter had a sandwich secretly liked. I don't recall what I had. The beer taster was great. I like the dark beer. BH Black Lager German was delicious. I like creamy non bitter dark beers. Just when you think you made a wrong turn the brewpub shows up as it is in an industrial business area. Cute little seating area for the restaurant as it is just adjacent to the brewing and packing area. Service was quick and very able to answer your questions and the food was very good. If you get the cajon burger ask for extra napkins as you will be making a mess as you eat. We also got the pork belly app and an IPA and Hefeweizen which were all excellent but we were so hurry we forgot the pictures. I went to dinner here with my friends who are local to the St. George area. This spot came highly recommended by one of my friends who boasted about their fish and chips and good drinks. It definitely did not disappoint! I had a bit of a hard time finding this place as it's in an industrial area and kind of hiding, but it was worth the journey. For my drink, I ordered the blackberry smash, which was a mule with a fruity twist. It was delicious and much stronger than other drinks I've had in this area. For my meal, I went with the highly-acclaimed fish and chips, which did indeed live up to their hype. The fish was perfectly fried and the fries had a good bite to them. I also really enjoyed the fry sauce that tagged along with the dish. Our server was also wonderful and made helpful suggestions throughout the meal. It had a relaxed, casual vibe that worked well for our group. We started with the fried pickles to share, and they were absolutely delicious, crispy, fresh, and perfectly fried. Definitely a highlight of the meal! I ordered the BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato) with a side of fries. The sandwich was a good size with the right amount of ingredients, though overall it was pretty basic. Still satisfying, just nothing particularly unique. My husband ordered a beer flight that included Agua Fresca, Agua del Diablo, Silver lady, and a Hefeweizen. His favorite by far was the Silver lady as it stood out as the most enjoyable of the four. Since he's vegan, he also ordered the veggie pizza without cheese. It was topped with tomato, a small amount of mushrooms and bell peppers, along with pesto sauce. The pizza was fairly simple, with each slice getting a bit of veggies, but overall it was pretty basic. The service was okay. There were five of us in our party, and one order was mixed up. We didn't mention it, but it might help if the server wrote down orders instead of trying to memorize them. NOT A BREWERY EXPERIENCE We stopped in expecting a typical brewery experience and were disappointed. We came specifically to try a flight, but were told that alcohol could only be served if we ordered food. That's understandable, but when I offered to order an appetizer, we were then told we could only get one beer with it, not a flight. The whole interaction felt unwelcoming, like our business wasn't really wanted. We would have happily ordered an appetizer and multiple beers, but instead were essentially told to just get beer to-go. We've visited almost every brewery in the state of Utah and hundreds of breweries across the country, so we're very familiar with how they typically operate. Being told this was "state law" felt misleading or, at the very least, poorly explained. Also worth noting: they close at 9 PM every night, which is quite early for a place presenting itself as a brewery. In our opinion, this is much more of a restaurant than a brewery, and it would be better advertised that way. Thankfully, we found a nearby spot (Station 2 Bar by Zion Brewery) that was far more accommodating and gave us the brewery experience we were looking for read more

There were five us on a girl's trip. I took them to Silver Reef. This was my third time. I had the Cuban, one had fish sandwich and three had club sandwiches. Everything was wonderful. We've been coming here regularly for lunch for over a year. When we first found this brewery, we absolutely loved it. The staff was fantastic, the food was consistently great, and it quickly became one of our favorite spots. We especially love the Juicy IPA and the club sandwich. Unfortunately, over the past year we've noticed a steady decline in both the service and the overall dining experience. The current staff is always friendly, but service has become consistently slow and often inattentive. As I'm writing this, we've been sitting on the patio with our kids for 25 minutes, and it's been 15 minutes since we ordered drinks that still haven't arrived. The food is still good, but it feels like it has lost some of the simple quality that made us keep coming back. What makes this disappointing is that we genuinely want to support this place. It's great to have a local brewery in St. George. We love the outdoor seating, the family-friendly atmosphere, the board games, the TVs for sports, and that we can comfortably bring our kids. Sadly, despite being the closest brewery to us, we rarely come anymore because we know we need to budget close to an hour just to get our food. We really hope management can get things back to where they were, because this used to be one of our favorite places in town. read more

This brewing company is an up and rising star for St. George! We went with family and it was a very enjoyable experience. They have inside and outside seating with a beautiful view of the red mesas. The food was reasonable in price and portion with great flavor and quality. They brew their own root beer as well as a wide variety of alcohols for those who love the taste. For those who don't they have a decent menu of unique drinks.
