A solid diner/cafe in the town of Hurricane, with somewhat higher prices than expected in a small town. Breakfast, lunch/dinner and a kids menu, open 7 am to 8 or 9 depending on the day but closed Sundays. The location is pretty good if you don't need a super early start to the day. The horizon breakfast with pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage and fruit was a satisfying choice though the pancakes and eggs tasted like generic diner food that you can find anywhere. For lunch and dinner they have salads, soups, sandwiches, and other entree dishes with plenty of options for everyone. Service was also good. They have some seating outdoors as well. The interior is pretty basic and there's free street parking.

We spent my birthday dinner here on a Friday night and man was it the right choice. We came here in 2022 and had a great dinner so it was a no brainer to try it again. They have a nightly steak special, be sure to ask your server about it! We sat outside on a beautiful evening, they even had small fans on the table to thwart the flies. We started with the great crab cakes app, that came with an arugula salad and an amazing roasted bell pepper sauce! Clean plate club #1. Entrees were the special 12oz Ribeye, mashed potatoes and fresh grilled vegetables, and the Spinach Ricotta Chicken Ravioli in marinara sauce. Both came with two pieces of garlic bread. The meals were phenomenal! We're not plate clearers but had zero issues here! We didn't even get pics of the dinner salad after eating them asap! Love this place and all three of their menus, cannot wait to come back! Thanks again!

Such a quant little place! We absolutely loved it. Wish we could have spent another morning eating breakfast here. We ate outside as it was a beautiful morning. I had the Eggs Benedict and my husband had the Corned Beef Skillet. Both were so good and very fueling for our hike through Zion later that morning. Awesome food. Great service. Friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Cute little diner in La Verkin close to Hurricane, Utah. When we arrived the restaurant was completely full and people were waiting outside for tables. Luckily there were only two of us and we were able to get a table for two within a few minutes. This restaurant is well known for its burgers and even though there's a full menu of pastas and proteins and other sandwiches, we decided to go with the signature dish. We ordered the bacon bourbon hamburger and the cheeseburger. Even though it was very busy, we were served within about 15 minutes. We had giant glasses of iced tea while we waited. You have the option of quite a few different sides including french fries, fried potatoes, fruit, plus a couple other dishes. The burgers are quite large. I would say at least 6 oz served on a great big fresh bun and a housemade sauce. They provide all the accoutrements you would want, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a big pickle spear. The french fries were very hot and very good and the fruit was fresh. They have a signature cheesecake for dessert but we were too full to enjoy that this time. The owner, I assume, was the waitress this evening and she was handling all the tables with a big smile and teasing and joking. It was a very fun evening and everyone was having a great time. They also have outside seating on a covered patio and a dozen or so tables inside. If you're in Hurricane I suggest you try out this restaurant one evening but come early.

Service by the wait staff is delightful. Delicious and well portioned meals. They were very accommodating for a group of six despite the restaurant being busy. I always visit Main Street Cafe when I'm in town.

Dining at Main Street Cafe brought a sense of inclusiveness, nostalgia, and small town dining vibes. There are two seating areas: inside, and an outdoor patio. The indoors was a good option to go for on hot summer days, but if you get the chance, definitely ask to be sat outside. We were instantly greeted with warm welcomes and seated within our first 10 seconds of stepping in from a wonderful woman. She seemed like the owner, or at least a manager there. She was everything-- our server, our host, our (unofficial) tia. She took us in and treated us like her own throughout the entire experience. Small conversations, cracking jokes, being attentive. Amazing!! We ordered super nachos and I got a bourbon burger. They weren't anything special and lacked a bit of flavor and seasoning for the nachos. And although the ingredients were so fresh, the patty and sandwich wasn't as flavorful as I wanted. The star of the restaurant was the woman. She told us to come back anytime we're in Utah. I will always recommend this spot to anyone taking a trip to Zion and wanting a nice ma and pa diner spot!

I really loved the Birria Tacos. It's 2 tacos filled full of barbacoa, onions & cilantro served with a great portion of consommé with a side of rice and homemade refried beans. There is even a salsa bar so you can get your own hot sauces they make in house, limes and even pickled jalapeno's and carrots! Everything about this establishment is a win!
