    Scone fries
    Sadie A.

Thursdays are the day to go! They had an awesome deal with the iconic burger and a fry only being $8! A delicious smash burger with the best brioche buns. My husband tried the Philly (it's huge!) and we were treated to a small sampling of scone fries which were tasty and not to be missed if you like a scone! We can't wait to return for this deal and to try other things!! A great new lunch or dinner spot for our family!

Lil Little Buddha and sweet potato fries

My husband and I were visiting St. George recently and decided to give Morty's Cafe a try. The staff was friendly and very accommodating, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the food was a bit of a letdown for us. I ordered the bourbon pork salad. It was fairly basic, and I was a little disappointed by the small amount of pork. The carrots weren't pickled, there was no cheese, and the pieces of pork I did get were on the fatty side. I also ordered a side of onion rings, and those were actually very good. My husband ordered the Lil Buddha with sweet potato fries. He was also a bit disappointed with the tofu patty, but the texture was very soft and it kind of oozed out of the bun when he took a bite. Overall, while the service was good, we left feeling disappointed with the food.

    Chipotle breakfast burrito, no jalapeños

Great spot for a cheat meal. Found this place looking on the Yelp app for a late lunch spot. The menu has burgers, breakfast burritos, a few salads, and fries, onion rings, milkshakes - the kind of spot for a splurge. The dining room is lined by displays of local artisan crafts available for sale. We arrived around 2PM and ordered, and it got surprisingly busy. Two adults and a toddler shared the Philly burger with fries, the chipotle burrito (without jalapenos), and a side of onion rings. Staff seemed overwhelmed and the dining room was full of dirty tables, they didn't come around often to wipe them down. The same lack of attention to detail seemed to impact our food. The grilled vegetables on the burger were very oily, the burrito was bland despite the plethora of ingredients and no salsa was available/offered, and onion rings were soggy. That being said, the burger was a good size and tasty combination of flavors, the fries are the lightly battered style we really enjoyed and paired well with their fry sauce, and my toddler devoured half the burrito. They have potential but quality and consistency might be better when they're less busy. Pro Tip: they have a QR code to scan at the register for free scone fries. When I joined it instead gave me a $5 off coupon that I was immediately able to use and appreciated. The next day another deal was emailed out, which is a nice touch to bring people back in.

Going through my review drafts and realized I hadn't hit publish...this was from October 5, 2020 (yeah, I still have photos on my phone from that long ago, even longer ....). Burger and fries came out fast, too fast. The patty was already cooked :( Food and check brought out at same time but not my shake. :( I had to ask for it. Fries texture is that of seasoned fries but they are regular fries. Ignore Google when it says it's busy. Come anyway. Google told me it was busy and there were only six other people in the restaurant. Casual restaurant.

Morty's has upped their menu since I've last been here - and I am impressed!!! The Philly Cheesesteak burger was awesome, the cheesesteak meat was melt in my mouth and the flavor or the peppers and cheese was perfect - 10/10 Morty's Doing it Right!! We will always be back!

Food was hot and fresh and service was fast. Very good burgers and actually wanted to try a few different burgers but ended up getting the Philly for myself. The dipping sauce isn't anything special but it does go well with both the regular and sweet potato fries.

Great cafe with solid burgers and the nicest people l. Thank goodness for a vegetarian friendly place - my mom loved her sandwich! Got the Yucatán burger and the Mortician which were all really good They're dog friendly too :)

During our recent visit to Utah, we found ourselves going back and forth between LaVerkin and St. George. My food rule when traveling is to not at chain restaurants, especially if they are also in my hometown. After researching Yelp for places to try, we settled on Morty's based upon pictures and reviews. Well, our experience was subpar. I ordered the Mortician with no bun and added an extra egg. It was just ok. The beef patties lacked flavor and could have benefited from a dash of salt. My lady had the quinoa salad and added chicken. The quinoa itself was good but the chicken was very dry and had an old taste. Service was so so. We ordered at the register counter and they asked if it was our first time there. After that there was no follow-up to ask how our experience was. We definitely would have told them about the chicken. The decor is pretty cool we admired how the place supports local artists by having items on display available to purchase. Personally, we would not choose to go back. Oh, the fries were good

Consistent good food, good service, and reasonably priced. Sometimes seating can be tricky when it's super busy. They have great sweet potato fries.

    Hawaiian Burger
    Joshua S.

Hawaiian Burger (1/3 pound patty, pepper jack cheese, bacon, house made pineapple/jalapeño relish, lettuce, house made Korean bbq sauce, and chipotle mayo). It has jalapeños, but I ordered them on the side, because I'm a lightweight. ;) My new favorite Hawaiian (teriyaki-style) burger! I also ordered onion rings and reg fries, and dipped them in the pineapple/jalapeño relish that had fallen out of the burger - a must when you get this burger! Service was great. Ambience: table was dirty/sticky, but because I'm lazy, I didn't move to another table, I just took a piece of ice and some napkins and cleaned off enough of the table to not care. And the food was so good, it didn't matter. ;)

Our son-in-law said this was the best restaurant in St. George so we were happy to try it out. I tried the California sandwich and it did not disappoint. The flavor and textures were delightful. They display local art for sale which is kind of cool.

The staff has always been friendly, and the food and drinks are great. Sometimes flavors or presentation vary, seating isn't completely comfortable, but it was never not an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, a recent experience completely changed my perspective for me. We attended their Easter egg hunt for the second year in a row. They advertised a 3-minute head start for toddlers (ages 0-3). As a mom of a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old, this is perfect. We invited several of our toddler mom friends and family to hunt with our kiddos. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee at the cafe before venturing to the event. Instead, it was nothing like last year and there was no separation. Older kids and oddly pushy parents immediately trampled the small courtyard area. It was chaotic, overwhelming, and frankly unsafe for the littlest ones. When I privately messaged the business to share that the promised toddler head start wasn't enforced and suggested better structure for next year, I was met with complete defensiveness. I was essentially told I should be "grateful" rather than disappointed because it was a free event (when technically we did pay over $50 to "be there") I completely understand that free community events are a massive undertaking, but good intentions don't excuse poor advertising, poor safety execution or dismissing customer feedback. To not even get a simple apology after years of loyalty leaves a terrible taste in my mouth. (Especially all while my kids and I are being used in marketing) I hope they can strive to actually make their customers "FeelLove" in the future.

We stopped at the gas station in the same shopping center bc I needed a restroom and I was totally ok with basic no frills coffee for the sole purpose of getting some caffeine into my body. Whelp, they had no coffee. Ummm what? So I walked out and directly over to FeelLove. TBH I felt gross bc I was dirty, un-showered and kind of wasn't in the mood for bougie coffee. As soon as I walked up and heard chill coffee spot music I realized....I was wrong. Once inside my eyes were treated to the most beautiful unique decor I've ever seen in a coffee shop. This place could rival any of its kind in LA or Vegas. When I approached the counter the ladies behind it were very busy whipping up both drive through & in house orders. One of them acknowledged me and said someone would be with me shortly and within 1 min someone was. The gal who took my order was friendly and answered my questions-about their sweetener options with a smile. $5.48 for a 16oz hot Americano w steamed almond milk & monk fruit. Standard cost. Once my drink order was taken my hubby took a seat and I was checking out all the tantalizing treats. It took ALL of my will power to not order a slice of the carrot cake which looked like it was baked in house along with the other goodies. We were going to be hiking shortly so I didn't want a sugar bomb sitting in my stomach the whole time. I do wish I had taken a piece to-go to enjoy later that night. Next time for sure! Once my order was called I picked it up and joined my husband to sip my java. It was delicious! Smooth, piping hit, heavenly sweetened and soothing to the soul! Oh how glad I am that I was wrong about this place. It was beautiful, served excellent coffee and the employees were all very polite. I will be bake FeelLove. Save me some carrot cake!

"Your server will be with you shortly." Ten more minutes, nothing. I went to the bar area and asked for help. Turns out, our server didn't know our table was part of her area - so, the host was just saying a line to get rid of us. There were two hosts and mostly they tried to avoid clearing tables, hoping the other one did it. There were 3-4 parties waiting for tables that were available, just not being cleared.  The food was good, and came out fairly soon after ordering. I wish I could just review the food; it was 5/5. One order was slightly wrong, but that was the server grabbing the wrong plate. It was just after noon by the time our food arrived. That's a big interval for a ~9:45am arrival. I just looked at the most recent dozen reviews, and it looks like ours was more of the norm right now rather than an isolated unlucky incident. Lots of potential here but overall, we should've tried somewhere else.
