Stopped in for lunch at Street Eatz today with a group of three. The food itself was actually very good--we ordered two rounds of the fish tacos and the salmon sammie--but the service breakdown and complete lack of communication ruined the experience. Our main dishes took over 30 minutes to arrive, and it felt like they only came out because we actively hunted down staff to ask. On top of that, our Caesar salad was missing. After waiting another 15 minutes for the salad, we finally caught a server and explicitly asked to cancel it. 10 minutes after canceling, the server brought the salad out anyway, saying it was on the house. By that point, we were already finished with our meal and turned it away. Kitchens get busy, and guests understand that. But setting expectations upfront ("Hey folks, the kitchen is backed up about 30 minutes today") or proactively offering a small courtesy early on would have changed everything. Leaving guests in the dark, ignoring a cancellation, and then offering an unwanted item at the very end isn't good service. I'm normally a generous tipper, and frankly, a tip wasn't deserved here at all. I left $2.00 strictly out of habit, but the front-of-house service severely let down what was otherwise a great meal from the kitchen. read more

This place was such an awesome find! We were in St George for a family reunion and our host hotel was just down the street. Truth be told, people from our group ate there 4 days in a row! Service is top notch, the staff is super friendly and very engaging. The craft cocktails were awesome and I thought the pricing was very reasonable. The food......so, so delicious! They make everything from scratch. The sauces, the pickles, pickled onions, desserts, etc. Standouts were the fish tacos. The server told us that there fish tacos would make a fish lover out of anyone. And she was not joking! The smash burger was super yummy as well as the crispy chicken sandwich. The new location has really made up for my first visit at the old one. I like the vibe and music playing when we go. The food is very consistent in taste and quality. We usually have good service. The drink options are fun and creative. I usually get a burger or a hot dog. I love that the Seattle dog comes with cream cheese. The give you a lot of fries when you order a sandwich. Fun little place next to the mall. We ordered fish n chips and a burger with Parmesan garlic fries. Very fresh food. The fish n chips were cooked to perfection, the batter was so light but delicious and NOT greasy at all. They were the bomb. I don't like fish but these were se good! The burger was ok. We ate here twice during our visit. It was so refreshing to find a place with my Hometown as their beginning. (Seattle). The fish comes from the Pacific Northwest and it was incredible. Saw the business owners had had a food truck in WA state and popped in. Laughed because they had a Seattle Dog on the menu! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun and brightly colored, and the service was fabulous. This is the best restaurant in St. George. Everything we ate had the best flavor. First the appetizer we had was a guacamole with bacon and fried tortillas as the chips. Incredible and a must!! I ate the Salmon Sammie which was so moist and mixed with spices and greens. Amazing!!! My girls both had the fish and chips. My daughter said the fries were some of the best she has ever had. The service was terrible, and it all started when we walked in and the declined us seats inside since we had a service dog. Which is against all of the ADA and Utah state laws. Carly was our server, she was friendly. I didn't really like the seating inside as it is SO close to your neighbors. For that reason we sat outside on the patio which is nice. I ordered the fish and chips, fries were cold, but the fish was good. I thought it was a bit strange to bring out ketchup, tarter sauce and vinegar in tiny little cups ONLY half full. The food was delicious! Stick to the Dixie Chicken sandwich and you will be thrilled with the combination of slaw, pickles and tender perfectly fried chicken. The tots were great, the fish tacos amazing! Not sure I'd order the Korean tacos again but they were tasty enough. The only flaw, no fountain soda and no tap water. The only drinks available are a smattering of canned soda and bottled water. The service was minimal, as this is a fast casual place, so as expected. The batter fish was crunchy and the flavor profile form the sauce and pica de gallo was just delicious. The atmosphere is very cozy and edgy. This place is a hidden gem in St. George. Have seen it a million times, because it's right next to the mall. We never went in, because we were usually on a mission to go shop at the mall! Finally tried it for lunch today, and it was phenomenal. Got the Fat Stack burger and shoestring fries. The patty was so good, and the pickles and ranch were house made and delicious. I would never eat here again, solely due to the restaurant's false advertising. I have celiac disease, and I specifically came to this restaurant because they advertised that nearly everything on their menu could be made gluten free upon request. This was an outright lie. The fries, which they advertised could be gluten free, were fried in the same deep fryer as everything else on the menu. Cross contamination city. The burgers, which they advertised could be gluten free, were marinated in a gluten containing worcestershire sauce. When you get down to it, there's approximately 4 actual gluten free items on the menu. I very much appreciated my server for guiding me towards these only safe items on the menu, but it is absolutely ridiculous that a place that advertises how GF friendly it is should have so few options available for people who actually need to eat GF. What a gem! It's kind of hidden and a little bit difficult to find at first. It faces north on the main mall entrance and some of the poles on the façade cover the signage. Once you find a place it's a very pleasant surprise, a little bit of Seattle right here in St. George Utah. I haven't found any place else that makes clam chowder as good as this place probably because the chef is from Seattle. The fish and chips are excellent, the best in St. George in my opinion. Just the right mix of toppings, and they did not skimp on ingredients or toppings/sauce etc. Primarily tacos and burgers, with tots and waffle fries. We also tried the slushee of the day, which was surprisingly delicious and refreshing! Small restaurant with relaxed vibe inside. Three tables and a bar to sit at inside, and more outside seating as well. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great playlist!! They were out of a couple menu options we were interested in, but had clear signs stating what they were out of and were kind about helping us choose other options. The place was pretty empty when we got there. We ordered a Bacon Jam burger and the Wachos to split. It was odd that the cook and the cashier seemed to both be doing both jobs.
