Stopped in based on Yelp ratings just looking for a good hamburger. It did not disappoint. Can't beat the view either. Will return soon.

The servers come through and always say "let me know if you need anything." Today I asked if I could get a container for my left overs (it's never been a problem before) and it wasn't busy at all. The server snapped back at me to go inside and get it myself. I said I'm dining alone and I don't want to just leave my food outside (I've gotten up to get something before and came back to someone clearing my table despite the fact that I was still eating since I was alone and they assumed I'm leaving). Anyway her response was a surly "no one's going to steal your food." It was mean. It hurt my feelings and did not make me feel like a valued customer. It wasn't even busy today so I can't imagine why she had to be rude. Maybe you can get away with this with the tourists because you'll never see them again but I live here. Really disappointed. I've been here so may times and everyone has always been nice and this was uncalled for :( ruined my day. I still have half a pizza left I don't even want to eat because I'm so disappointed. Thank you to another customer that saw the interaction and jumped in to say they'd keep the bugs buzzing around off my food while I go inside. That was the only saving grace.

The town was crazy busy in general with multiple events happening over the weekend so it was not a problem to wait a little. We got seated and then a server made their way to us after some time. Overall it was busy but they still made it a point to get everyone situated and food coming out. The spaghetti was a little on the sweet side which wasn't my preference but I'd come back and try something else next time

I don't even know where to begin-- has officially ruined every other meal for me…read more I ordered the filet mignon with mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans... and I'm not exaggerating when I say it changed my life a little. I've had steak before--plenty of it--but this filet? This was on another level entirely. It was so tender it didn't just melt in my mouth, it practically dissolved out of pure generosity. "Tender as a mother's love" somehow still undersells it. Every bite felt like it was perfectly crafted just for me. Even better than Taleel said it looked--and that already seemed impossible. Now, my wife went with the spaghetti (like she does at least once a week), and according to her, it's basically perfection in a bowl. She said it's the kind of meal you crave constantly--the sauce is rich, comforting, and so full of flavor it makes every other spaghetti she's ever had feel like a mistake. Honestly, the fact that she orders it weekly should tell you everything you need to know. The mashed potatoes and gravy? Absolute cloud-level comfort. I'm convinced they were whipped by angels. The green beans? Somehow stole the spotlight too--fresh, flavorful, and refusing to be overshadowed. Every plate felt like a masterpiece. Every bite made me stop and wonder if food is supposed to be this good. If you're anywhere near Hurricane, Utah and you don't stop at Triple TJ's... you're making a serious life mistake. 10/10 doesn't even scratch the surface. This place is legendary.

I had the senior-sized country fried steak, which was basically just a smaller sized dinner portion. How awesome is that?? It was delicious and perfectly filling for me! This place absolutely delivers the elevated dining experience you hope for--amazing ambiance,…read moreoutstanding service, and food that's clearly crafted with care. From the moment we sat down, the atmosphere felt polished yet welcoming, and the staff truly made the experience shine. As someone whose BBQ baseline starts with authentic Texas-style, Memphis , or Carolina barbecue, I naturally came in with high expectations. I ordered the half rack with mac and cheese plus coleslaw. The ribs had solid flavor overall, but there were some inconsistencies throughout the rack--some bites were beautifully fall-off-the-bone tender, others were more competition-style with that ideal slight pull from the bone, while a few sections leaned a bit dry. For my personal preference, the sauce was a little heavy-handed, and next time I'd definitely order it on the side to better appreciate the meat itself. The mac and cheese was clearly homemade, which I appreciated, with that comforting from-scratch taste--but the portion was definitely on the smaller side (I'm okay with the portion size being smaller). The coleslaw was fresh and light, featuring a clean combination of mayo, green and purple cabbage, acidity, and salt, but it felt like it was missing a little extra depth or umami to truly stand out. My wife ordered the chicken cutlet, and she really enjoyed it--it looked fantastic and was clearly a strong choice. Overall, Pig's Ear is an excellent spot with top-tier service, beautiful ambiance, and very good food. My palate has been well-trained over the years, especially with Texas, Memphis, or Carolina BBQ setting my starting point, so I naturally notice finer details. Even so, this was a highly enjoyable experience and absolutely worth visiting. A few small critiques, but still a strong dining destination in Hurricane.

Not to mention a Moscow Mule: their ginger beer was so smooth with just the right amount of snap to it, and I swear it almost had some kind of sage ending to it. Divine. The menu has plenty of options, including burgers, steaks and even some seafood dishes. I opted for the clam chowder and a dinner salad while my dinner partner enjoyed the pork chop. The clam chowder was just ok-nothing to write home about. But the bite I had of pork chop from across the table was pretty good. Seems right-this is more of a meat and potatoes place. The service was a little off-putting. When we arrived, there were three girls gathered around the host table chatting. They weren't too eager to pause their conversation to greet us. throughout the night, we observed them behaving silly-much like I'd expect to see at the high school cafeteria. And our server did his job, but couldn't be bothered with friendly chit chat or a smile. I get the sense that tourists might be more of a burden than a support and if we were locals we might have been treated differently. If you can fit in with the local crowd (i.e. denim jeans and boots) you might be just fine. And order the steak-it looks good.
