The decor is fun, warm and inviting. Waiter was super nice and helpful. The owner checked on me which was nice, a lovely lady. I had the Smokey Rib Pappardelle which was great. Then I went all out with the chocolate cheesecake. Why not I'm on Adventure! - 'Pursuing Balance Through Adventure'

The ambiance is beautiful, welcoming, and spacious. Live music outdoors under the Utah night sky is wonderful (we came on a Friday). The steak prices ranges from $55-$70 (MP) when we ask for Sept in 2025. I ordered a grilled salmon and pork chop. Both were excellent and not dry. Salmon were scrumptious and love the sides of veggies (asparagus and cauliflower purée) but the salmon portion was so small for the price ($36) that I'm left still hungry. The pork chop is brine for 3 days so it's nice and tender and portion is great. The staff are very friendly and efficient from the host to the waitress.

I came back and I have to admit, Service is still GREAT ! Food was GREAT as always. My favorite restaurant every time I visit UT ! I love coming here, I came during a not so busy season and I love that because that means Service is also even better. This time around I did try their dessert and it was their chocolate cake, and we cannot have cake without milk! Not on their menu BUT they were nice enough to bring me a glass of milk. Steak was cooked perfectly and their Plate of the day was great as well. Ambiance was calm and peaceful.

Love to visit Balcony One when visiting southern Utah. The food is amazing and can't beat the beautiful patio surrounded by the beautiful plateaus and red rock of Virgin. I always order the Fettuccine Alfredo - it is tasty and not too heavy. The Oven Roasted Chicken is cooked and seasoned well. The drinks are excellent. This time we tried the Lemond Curd Cheesecake and it was spot on! Everything was perfect. Great service, great food, great vibe!

Honestly, this place is perfection. The parking area is large. The outside is a bit deceptive because inside is much nicer than I expected. The hostess was excellent and gave us an option between the bar and dining room. She was very friendly. We chose the bar and our server was spectacular. She was perfectly attentive without being annoyingly so. She made recommendations and the food was out of this world. I loved everything about the experience. We had: baby back ribs, hummus, Greek salad, carpaccio and a loaded potato. I would recommend it all.

What an unexpected gem. While driving to Zion National Park, my wife suggested that we skip lunch and stay hungry for Balcony One As usual. She was right. This place is elevated dining on the high desert. The building is beautiful, the food is wonderful, and the service is loving. Make extra time to enjoy a drink in the bar before you eat, the view is truly special. For the win: Start with the Bone-In Bacon, then enjoy the New York Strip (medium rare was PERFECT), or the Pork Chop, and finish with the tiramisu. Wash it all down with a local Unita brew.

Would post a pic of my carpaccio but it was so delicious it demanded my full attention. Resisted licking the plate.

5-Star Review: Spiritual Speakeasy - A Hidden Gem Cocktail Parlor in Downtown St. George…read moreIf you're in St. George and craving a night out that feels worlds away from the typical Utah bar scene, Spiritual Speakeasy (2 W St. George Blvd #5, right at Ancestor Square) is an absolute must. It's not just another spot--it's a true speakeasy-style cocktail lounge with that perfect moody, intimate Prohibition-era vibe. Think dim lighting, plush vintage settees and ornate seating that feels like stepping into a gothic 1800s parlor, gilded mirrors, stone crosses, and an electric yet cozy energy that's ideal for date night, a special occasion, or just unwinding with friends. Spiritual Speakeasy Bar (2026) - All You MUST Know Before You Go (with Reviews) The cocktails here are next-level--award-winning (they've taken Best Bar in Southern Utah multiple times, and it shows). I went with the Smoked Old Fashioned (beautifully balanced, smoky perfection with premium spirits) and the Spicy Dead Lady (a creative, flavorful kick that's become a favorite). They also do standouts like Espresso Martini, Pornstar Martini, Skull Chapel, and Holy Grail, all crafted with top-shelf ingredients including Utah's own High West whiskeys. The bartenders are true mixologists--super knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to chat about the spirits or customize something just for you. Spiritual Speakeasy - St. George, UT | joe coffee It's open daily from 5 PM to 1 AM (or 2 AM some nights), with live DJs on weekends adding to the lively but not overwhelming atmosphere. It's intimate (can feel a bit cozy/crowded when busy), and the music can get loud, but that's part of the electric speakeasy charm. Service is attentive, though it can slow down on peak nights--totally worth it. In a town not exactly known for wild nightlife, this place punches way above its weight. Sophisticated, fun, and unexpectedly upscale. We've already made it our go-to whenever we're in St. George. If you love craft cocktails and a unique vibe, hunt it down--you won't regret it. Highly recommended! (Pro tip: Look for the hidden entrance vibe--they make it feel like a real discovery.)

I took a star off because the guy who checked our IDs in the front didn't tell us it was open seating, so we just stood there waiting to be helped not knowing what to do if we can sit anywhere , or needed to wait. The bartender didn't stop to welcome us , or let us know it was open seating. We aren't locals, nor have we been before, so standing there without any direction was kind of not welcoming. Overall, it was a cool vibe, drinks were good, however not sure if I would return when I do come into town.

The service? Spot on. If you're after an intimate, low-key spot with a warm atmosphere and a subtle speakeasy feel, this place delivers. The owners were there in person, took time to connect, and added a level of authenticity that's hard to fake. It's a bit tucked away and not where you'd expect--but that's part of the charm. A good speakeasy should feel like a find. We tried the meatballs with bacon jam, Maryland crab cakes, and the miso salmon--each one well-executed without trying too hard. Dessert was an orange cake that finished things off perfectly. Portions were just right. The cocktails stand out--not just for presentation, but for the clear intention behind them. There's a creative, almost literary theme running through the menu, and it shows real effort and originality. After talking with the bartender, it's obvious they take pride in constantly refining and creating. If you're looking for a relaxed, intimate date night spot that feels a little off the radar but fully worth it--this is one to check out.

I didnt have a reservation but they were still able to get me in during lunch time. Its very small inside but decorated nicely. I recommend making a reservation to avoid sitting in a backless barstool. I had the seasonal pumpkin pie martini to drink. It was yummy. I like the graham cracker rim and the glass details. Ive had the deviled eggs appetizer both times and its been consistent. I like the brushetta and bacon jam eggs the best. We tried the meatballs and they were also very good. Im not a fan of brie but its a small amount that blends well with all the other flavors of the meatball. Id get those again. My entree was the alfredo pasta. It was good. It did come out a little cold but the flavor was on point. The garlic bread that accompanied it was nice and crisp. I wish i had more left over sauce to soak up with bread but the ratio of noodles to sauce was dead on. Its a smaller portion but the price reflects that. I literally scraped the plates of each of our dishes. Next time I want to try that Scarlet Letter cocktail because it looked just like a New York Sour to me. Im really glad that this place is here in St George. I'm always looking for new spots with trendy drinks, unique atmosphere, and delicious food. This checks all the boxes. Not to mention, the hours are perfect for day dates with the hubby. Cheers!

From the moment we sat down, the atmosphere felt polished yet welcoming, and the staff truly made the experience shine. As someone whose BBQ baseline starts with authentic Texas-style, Memphis , or Carolina barbecue, I naturally came in with high expectations. I ordered the half rack with mac and cheese plus coleslaw. The ribs had solid flavor overall, but there were some inconsistencies throughout the rack--some bites were beautifully fall-off-the-bone tender, others were more competition-style with that ideal slight pull from the bone, while a few sections leaned a bit dry. For my personal preference, the sauce was a little heavy-handed, and next time I'd definitely order it on the side to better appreciate the meat itself. The mac and cheese was clearly homemade, which I appreciated, with that comforting from-scratch taste--but the portion was definitely on the smaller side (I'm okay with the portion size being smaller). The coleslaw was fresh and light, featuring a clean combination of mayo, green and purple cabbage, acidity, and salt, but it felt like it was missing a little extra depth or umami to truly stand out. My wife ordered the chicken cutlet, and she really enjoyed it--it looked fantastic and was clearly a strong choice. Overall, Pig's Ear is an excellent spot with top-tier service, beautiful ambiance, and very good food. My palate has been well-trained over the years, especially with Texas, Memphis, or Carolina BBQ setting my starting point, so I naturally notice finer details. Even so, this was a highly enjoyable experience and absolutely worth visiting. A few small critiques, but still a strong dining destination in Hurricane.

When the food arrived, both the burger and salad looked promising, but sometimes, as one knows, looks can be deceiving. For a cheese burger, the burger was a little undersized, in my opinion, and although the quality of the beef was very good and tasted quite good, I could not overlook the fact, that they served the burger with a cold bun. That mishap really bothers me. Cold bread on a burger, simply does not work. I am assuming somebody just missed a step, but that one extra missed step put a huge let down on the burger. My friend's chicken Caesar salad looked promising, but unfortunately, the chicken was very over-salted. You could consume a few pieces of the chicken before becoming overwhelmed with salt. We left the chicken, but ate the salad, which was good. We notified, the server regarding the over salting of the chicken, and she stated she would let the prep team know. No apology nor willingness to make it up. The service was friendly enough, but if you ask me if things could have been better, I would say, "absolutely."
