    Coconut Cream pie

If you're looking for a Wild West restaurant/gift store that serves Buffalo burgers then this is the place for you. What makes it unique is the irrepressible personality of the place, including the guy running it. When I walked in he was holding court in the front side of the restaurant to the group sitting there describing the various home made pies available for dessert; all of which sounded amazing! I say myself and then as the guy running the place was delivering a few meals behind me asked me what I wanted to eat. At this I had t seen a menu yet so I said "what do you think I should get"? And he said without hesitation " the buffalo burger" so I say great....and an IPA. The burger arrives and he say " don't put ketchup or mustard on it you'll ruin it", so I ate it as is and was delicious; lean, great flavor, fresh tomatoes and lettuce, red onion, fresh sesame bun, and a hint of mayo. Finally, he came by to recite the dessert and because I had heard it three times, I knew what I wanted. I told him " you had me at coconut cream". It came and was perfect; creamy, pie crust, thin and soft, creamy filling, fresh coconut, and whipped cream. I think I will take a look around the shop cuz I'm not ready to leave this treasure....until we dine again!

We returned to try the Bison Burger and it was worth the wait and drive. The Pies are sooooooo goooood. The hostess and server Asia was great and kind and such a sweetheart. Bob was there too he is a character and great person. If you're in virgin Utah stop in. Be patient when ordering food takes awhile so be kind and friendly. Great food served here

Food was on point! Bob greeted everyone who came through the door. There is only one menu and he goes over it throughly & with humor. Buffalo Burger & Chili are what we got for dinner. F-ing Brownie & Ice cream for dessert with a Coke Zero to wash it down. Over everything was fantastic.

I ordered a couple of dishes I had never tried before, including a steak and chicken crusted with pistachios. The bison steak was especially memorable. The herb butter on top was incredibly delicious and added so much flavor. The food did seem to take some time to come out. The kids ordered the beef sliders and absolutely loved them. We actually had to order a second round because they disappeared so quickly. Everyone working here was friendly and welcoming, and parking was very easy, which is always a plus. Overall, it was a really pleasant dining experience.

The restaurant is located away from other businesses, so the dim outdoor lighting made the ambiance more appealing. Outdoor seating-on the porch or in the grass was available, we opted for the outside porch. There is inside seating too. Free parking here. I was pleased with the service, as we were seated right away, with 30 minutes to closing. Staff was attentive and courteous. Food was average as we enjoyed the Curry Bowl, more than the angel hair pasta with chicken pistachio (see my pics). Curry had a good spice to it, veggies were fresh and good portion size that was sharable.

The salmon was flakey, with a little crunch on the exterior and incredible flavor. I chatted with the staff about our concerns for the world but more so the hope we still share for our future. The world is heavy right now, good company and good food make it better though. Not to mention a Moscow Mule: their ginger beer was so smooth with just the right amount of snap to it, and I swear it almost had some kind of sage ending to it. Divine. Thank you all for the meal, so happy I wasn't too tired to make the trek. Legend has it that Zion is the Holy City... Perhaps these are the mountains Jesus will return to us in with the sound of horns to save us from this uncertain future. I'm willing to believe it. Keep the hope alive.

The menu has plenty of options, including burgers, steaks and even some seafood dishes. I opted for the clam chowder and a dinner salad while my dinner partner enjoyed the pork chop. The clam chowder was just ok-nothing to write home about. But the bite I had of pork chop from across the table was pretty good. Seems right-this is more of a meat and potatoes place. The service was a little off-putting. When we arrived, there were three girls gathered around the host table chatting. They weren't too eager to pause their conversation to greet us. throughout the night, we observed them behaving silly-much like I'd expect to see at the high school cafeteria. And our server did his job, but couldn't be bothered with friendly chit chat or a smile. I get the sense that tourists might be more of a burden than a support and if we were locals we might have been treated differently. If you can fit in with the local crowd (i.e. denim jeans and boots) you might be just fine. And order the steak-it looks good.
