Chocolate bundt cake with peppermint ice cream
Claire B.

Really tiny parking lot, so you are better walking there or taking a shuttle near. We got the last space even at 5:30 pm. Popular restaurant. We got a table outside. The white sangria sounded good but didn't have much flavor. The swordfish tacos - tasted fresh with pineapple salsa in corn tortillas came with black beans, and rice. My husband got 2 enchiladas, beans, salad - filling. The Chocolate Bundt cake with molten chocolate and hot fudge and peppermint ice cream wasn't the best tasting one we have had - no rich chocolate flavor. Michaela, our server, was nice.

Cute place in Springdale. The weather was nice so we sat on the patio. The food was okay, oddly our favorite was the pasta and not the traditional Mexican fare.

Great food, beautiful artwork, slow service and overpriced. This is one of the nicer restaurants in Springdale, but $140 for two is too much! We did order chips-and-salsa, two beers, chicken salad, and two Ono fish taco plates. I do like the amount of indoor seating and they had a beautiful outdoor seating area that wraps around the back side of the restaurant with a grassy area and fire pit as well.

Not outstanding, but better than average Mexican. I loved that they had one creative dish with sweet potato and mushroom tamales. Looks like they used to have a vegan cream sauce, but sadly I didn't see it on the menu this time. Margarita tasted weak, but actually packed a punch.

Visited the restaurant as my boyfriend and I stayed in Springdale for the weekend! Bit & Spur has such a nice vibe, decor and lights. We were seated immediately, and our waitress was very nice and checked on us frequently. I really loved the blueberry lemonade, it was so tart and not too sweet. My boyfriend got the prickly pear special margarita and also liked it! Chips and salsa plus guacamole was very good and hit the spot. Chips reminded us of Chili's! My boyfriend got three different tacos (1 al pastor, 1 wagyu beef, and 1 tequila chicken) and I got two of the vegan tacos. We both agreed the rice and beans were very good. The only thing that's missing is that my boyfriend didn't go crazy over his two tacos - wagyu beef & the chicken tequila weren't his favorite. The wagyu beef was a bit greasy, and the chicken was a little dry. BUT - he did enjoy the al pastor tacos! He said he would've preferred three of the al pastor tacos, but obviously it's our first time so he wanted to try them all. My tacos were good but spicy! I think including a note about slight spice would be good because the heat built and I'm not sure what was spicy about them. But I loved the corn tortillas. Overall this place was good. I'd come back!

Bit and Spur -- stopped here for a quick dinner on our last night in Springdale and were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Food: We started with chips and salsa that had a surprisingly spicy kick, followed by the roasted poblano mac and cheese, which had a fantastic blend of flavors and richness. My wife ordered the wagyu beef tacos and really enjoyed them. Everything came out fresh and well-prepared. ‍ Service: Our waitress, Shilo, was awesome. Super kind, efficient, and clearly juggling a lot of tasks with a smile. Aesthetic: The restaurant has a warm Tex-Mex charm with cozy indoor seating and great outdoor tables, perfect for taking in the Springdale evening atmosphere.

Great food and cute atmosphere for a meal after exploring Zion! Really enjoyed my tacos and the kind service. The only thing lacking was the taste of the margarita. It tasted like orange juice to me. Otherwise, a great spot that I recommend!

We were staying at Flanigans for the night to visit Zion and didn't want to drive so we walked 1 mi each way (kinda far but thats ok). Wanted to get food and cocktails to end the night of hiking. They had a fresh watermelon margarita special that night so I got it. Hubby got meatloaf, I got the shrimp pasta with capers, my son got the tacos and we got taco salad to share. Servings are good for sharing, guess we were starving. To end the meal, we got the brownie creme brulee. So yummy. At least the walk back helped coz we ate too much! Nice Tex Mex restaurant

Delicious drink!

Probably everything I have to say has already been said in other reviews... The chips were fresh & crunch - we devoured 2 bowls (and probably could have eaten a 3rd). I went with the chipotle chicken pasta dish. My server warned me it was creamy & heavy, so I knew what I was getting myself into. But it was also SOOO tasty. I honestly wanted almost everything on the menu, and was sad we only went here one night! We sat on the front patio, which was very nice. I have a feeling the back has better ambiance, though.

I think this is the most happening restaurant and bar in the vicinity. There is a popular speakeasy and brewery in the area but this restaurant seems like a main stay for the resident restaurant workers and visitors. I adore that they feature Utah made spirits and beers. There is a main restaurant seating area and a "bar" area. The bar area requires a snack/meal to be ordered. (Utah law). We shared a yummy corn side dish that doubled as dessert! Others ordered chips and salsa.

After my Angle's landing hike i wanted to hangout to the place where i can drink and have amazing food. Thank god i found this place. What a food and ambiance. Loved it everything. They have amazing watermelon margaritas, pasta , chips and sauce. They have very friendly servers.

Very tasty blueberry mint mojito.

My 3 friends and I went for a birthday celebration. We sat outside. The scenery was beautiful. The weather was perfect but got a little chili when the sun went down. This wasn't an issue because there are warming lamps you can turn on. We ordered Chips, queso, salsa and Guacamole for a starter. All the dips were perfect. The guacamole was really fresh and the salsa and queso were both delicious. The chips were freshly made and warm. I ordered the 3 enchilada combo with rice and black beans. Everything tasted great. I tried all 3 meats in my enchiladas. The chicken and pork were good, but the wagyu ground beef was the best one. My 3 friends ordered the sweet potato tamales, Chilli Relleno and swordfish tacos. Everything looked beautiful and tasted perfect. We ordered a chocolate pecan brownie crème brûlée to share for dessert. The staff were really great. They lit a candle and sang for my friend and took really good care of us. It was a great meal and bday celebration. I would definitely go back. I'm sad we didn't take more pics of our food for the review. We were too busy celebrating

We came for a late dinner after a long day in the park. Made reservations in advance but the restaurant wasn't busy. We opted to sit inside, but I later wished we'd sat outside for the ambiance. Our waitress was patient with us as we deliberated on what to get. I got the special margarita - it was prickly pear but tasted like a normal margarita to me. We also got the chips & salsa, which you have to pay for but they are bottomless (we went through at least 2 bowls of them)...they were good. For dinner, I got the enchiladas plate and my partner got the carne asada. Both were tasty, but also nothing to write home about in comparison to other mexican-ish restaurants. Bit & Spur is listed as tex-mex, but it didn't seem different than any other Mexican I've had. All in all, the experience was good but also not particularly memorable. I'd give it 3.5 stars.

Choose another restaurant. I got food poisoning from eating here. Simply steer clear or you may regret it. I did.

We ended up going twice during our vacation. The first time was Sunday night around 8 PM. It was busy, but Tristin helped us pretty quickly. They also had a Sunday special on Old Fashioneds for $9. My husband said they were delicious and the price was a bonus . I ordered one of their signature cocktails -- the Cactus Fruit Margarita -- and it was the perfect balance of tart and sweet. We went back again on Wednesday night after our Narrows hike as a little treat before heading home Thursday. It was even busier that night, but the power team of Gabriel, Ethan, and Tristin was on deck. Gabriel and Ethan's hustling orders left and right. Tristin was cleaning, preparing and helping the guys out as much as possible when needed. This trip made everyone feel welcomed while serving drinks to perfection. This night I had -The Lasso and Pornstar Martini. These were my favorite ! Husband had the same -House Old Fashioned. We had a great time both visits and definitely recommend this place as a perfect nightcap spot. One thing I'll say -- if you go and see it's busy, be patient with these guys. They work really hard to make sure your drinks come out delicious and made right.
