I should add a review because I (like many) were skeptical of this spot from the rating: y'all, it's fine. Like the other review says if this were in a big city it would be a solid three, but it's worthy of a four all things considered. I know it's slim pickings outside of Bryce but this is a perfectly acceptable place to eat. The drinks were average so I just stuck to a simple 2 ingredient cocktail (liquor/mixer) I got the chili and my husband got the ribeye with a baked potato. We sat at the bar top so the service was fast; I assume all of the complaints of slow service were when people were seated at tables because there was only 1 server working the floor. Good spot, ignore the ratings, stop by after a day in the park.

I recently ordered takeout from Cowboy Ranch and was extremely disappointed with the entire experience. Firstly, the service was far from satisfactory. The staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful, which set a negative tone right from the start. Secondly, the food was overpriced for the quality provided. I expected much better given the high prices, but the ribs and chicken were bland and lacked freshness. I felt like I was paying premium prices for subpar food. What really added insult to injury was the automatic 20% tip that was charged on my to-go order. I understand tipping for good service, but this felt like an unfair charge, especially considering the poor service and the fact that it was a takeout order. Amy was extremely rude and was not very helpful even after the 20% tip from our entire group. The food came out within 5 minutes who knows how long it was sitting back there. Overall, I do not recommend this place based on my experience. There aren't many other places in the area that are open around 8pm. But I would avoid this place save your money you're better off going to the gas station you'll get better service without the unnecessary extra charges. ---

Food was good and service was fast. A little pricey but you don't have many choices in a touristy area. We got ours to go.

Good portion of Caesar salad and bowl of chili.

I feel like this place deserves at least a 3. The service was friendly though inattentive and a bit slow. Not for lack of trying though, they were just very busy and there was only 1 server for the floor and 1 bartender behind the bar, taking care of probably a couple dozen people. There were two people at the host desk and it feels like they probably could've helped more on the floor. We got the chili and Caesar salad and cleaned our plate and bowl. Neither was the best ever, but also both were solid, and they give you good portions. We would come back again. I'd say this is probably a solid 3.5 kind of place. I'm rounding up in my review to 4 stars to bring up the average since they're currently showing up as below 3 and I don't think that's fair or reflective of the quality of the place.

Came in the evening and after Memorial day weekend. Lots of draft beers to choose from but most of them were out. I love my chili but they were out. Intrigued by the avocado bites. Alas, they were out. BUT, the 5 beers on draft were fresh tasting. And, they have 1¢ chips &salsa to accompany your beer. Best deal. They practice distancing with yellow tape on the floor. The workers wear masks.

Server Oscar took such good care of us. He is also trail knowledgeable in the area! Nice craft beer selection, but tonight out of many of the local beers. What local beer that was left was fresh, tasted great, and much appreciated. Table next to us had massive hamburgers and large fries, cut long. Ask about the chips AND salsa for a PENNY. Then, ya get yer beer! I enjoyed the John Denver, Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson playing overhead.

Went here randomly since it was the only restaurant still open in Bryce Canyon after like 8pm and was pleasantly surprised! We ordered takeout but the dining area had plenty of seating, and was still pretty busy for a weeknight. Servers/bartenders were knowledgeable and welcoming. Chicken Caesar salad was surprisingly really good for a bar, but skip the elk burger -- was cold and sad. Good enough to go back a second night in a row

So, been going back and fourth with this rating. Debating if it deserve 2 or 3 stars. Well here goes.... Spent the memorial weekend in Bryce as one of our friend was running a marathon that was being held here. As the restaurant was basically next door and a couple minute walk from our hotel, it only seemed appropriate to stop and have dinner. Well, here goes. When we walked in, the hostess was on her phone at the counter. We got seated pretty fast as it wasn't as busy yet. Our waiter, who I honestly don't think he's a waiter. Maybe helping out as they were short staff or something. Started off with the drinks, and one of us wanted a beer. He didn't know what was on tap or if they had anything available. Seemed all over the place. He had to check to see what we ordered was available. Which I don't think he knew what it was from the beginning as we over heard someone else asking for the same thing and he automatically said no. Dinner, menu had some nice choices. But that could just be on paper. We all went with the special that was on the whiteboard as you walk in. So this is where the rating comes into play. The food was another level. One of us ordered the half chicken was looked ok. Served with veggies and all the meals did as well. Everything was with green beans which honestly was from a can. Another had the pork chops, 2 very thin slice of chops. That was served with coleslaw and sweet potatoes fries. The other had the fish and chips. Which I swear was van decamp frozen fish. It literally looked exactly like it. Then comes my meal, the tomahawk steak. With a price that was offered, I couldn't miss out on it. Asked for it medium and it came with two sides as well. Veggies which was can green beans and rice. It took a long while till the food was ready. We did notice that there was another table that had ordered the tomahawk steak as well. About 10 min from when we sat down it was brought out to them and minutes later they had to take it back. I assume it was cooked wrong. Then the waiter finally came over and said that the other dishes were done but the steak wasn't. Told him to just bring them out as it would get cold by the time they ate. When my steak finally came out, I asked for medium and it was basically well done. Not one piece of pink whatsoever. And fries was brought out instead of rice. Mentioned to the waiter that I wanted rice and he replied with "you said fries". At this point it was like whatever. I didn't have the heart to return the steak as it already taken so long to arrive. The portion of meat was massive and for the price, didn't want to have to return it. But when you request it a certain way and it comes out basically well done. Its flavor just doesn't do it justice. Service was good, although our waiter maybe was just helping out as they were short staff or something. The bartender did come out and help and he was friendly. Talked to everyone which was nice. They did have a bar in the back near the restroom but we stayed in the main restaurant area. Food could have been better. Short staff for sure.

We wasn't expected the food were so awesome before when we searched the yelp. We just looked around the yelp and decided to give this restaurant a chance. OMG.....amazing service by Gerry and wonderful food. The taco salad with beef were so good. The Beef was very juicy and tender, veggies were so fresh. To be honest, I am allergic to beef if it is not grass fed. However, somehow, I am totally fine with their beef, I have no reaction at all. Great drink, great food. Highly recommend when you travel to Bryce Canyon.

Service was excellent. Jesus was very kind. One advantage it's the only restaurant open after 9pm.

Our motto is, if the parking lot/patio is full, the food must be good. It proved true at Escobar's. We both enjoyed the chiles rellenos. They are made fresh to order and include a delicious sauce and onions, which is different than the ones we've had in Wickenburg and Phoenix, AZ. The rice and beans were also delicious and the prices are also very good. Although they serve bottled beer we settled for soda since we had a long drive ahead of us. Because the patio was full we ate inside. The dining room is bright and pleasant. Walls are filled with Mexican art. Service was quick and pleasant. This is definitely a great choice for Mexican food in Kanab, UT.

Anyway, these folks were really nice, typical Mexican fare, great flavors. I had the chile relleno & chicken enchilada. They make the sauce to cover the relleno with huge chunks of tomato, so that added a big hearty flavor, which I really liked. Plenty to eat, constant refills of my ice tea & everyone in there was very happy. A great place & one to revisit.

Nothing too crazy, but they have multiple solid entree. I ordered the stuffed jalapeños as appetizers to start and I don't know why but I expected to be breaded. Let's just say I did not read the description. Still good, but phew it was seriously spicy, so come prepared. The jalapeños came out so quick even the person serving us was surprised, no complaints there. It came so quick I didn't even get beer yet. For the main I went with the 3 for $23: chicken enchiladas, al pastor tacos, and the wagyu tacos. None of them disappointed. The standout was the crunch the veggies had in the tacos, it really elevated the whole bite. Going in, I wasn't expecting San Diego-style tacos, and that's the right mindset to have. These are Tex-Mex tacos done well on their own terms. Ambiance was really chill when we got there we beat the crowd and it had a relaxed, laid-back vibe. By the time we left the parking lot was completely packed, looked like there wasn't a single spot available. Glad we got there when we did.

But the star for me was the chimichurri ribeye steak - cooked just right, super tender, and the chimichurri sauce brought bright, herby freshness that cut through the richness perfectly. One of the best steaks I've had in a casual spot like this. Everything felt fresh and housemade, portions were generous, and the vibe is chill and welcoming. We arrived about 6 and waited about 20 minutes for a very nice booth. We split a pretty good-sized house salad. It was fine. I had the trout with asparagus and sweet potato fries. Fish (lemon pepper and salt) was tasty and perfectly prepared. Asparagus was also perfectly cooked, still a bit of crunch. The fries were too limp but tasted good. My hubs ordered the ribeye. Looked so juicy and charred but was a bit tough. Flavor was great and it was a gigantic 16-oz. portion. Coffee was tasteless, unfortunately. The absolute highlight of the meal was the pie! The apple pie is the best I have ever eaten. The filling contained nice slices of apples, no mushy stuff here. And the crust was incredibly flaky with a bit of sugar baked on top. My husband ordered the cherry pie à la mode and was quite pleased with the pie and two little scoops of ice cream alongside. Nice staff too! This place is popular for a reason.
