    S'mores after dinner

Here's three things you should know about this place: 1- the ambience is unbeatable. Fire pits going outside, warm and cozy on the inside. 2- come with an expectation that food and service will be slightly above Applebees. We waited for about 12 minutes for our drinks. Miso salmon and burger were just ok. I recommend the dynamite shrimp and the Astro nut pistachio drink. 3- take advantage of the free s'mores after dinner. Grab your sticks and bags with all your s'more essentials at the reception desk.

~A Stellar Experience at Sky Nova~ Sky Nova is an absolute gem! From start to finish, my dining experience was nothing short of phenomenal. The menu is refreshingly creative and ever-changing, which made each dish feel like a new adventure. For dinner, I enjoyed the Thai shrimp poppers, carne asada tacos, and the unforgettable Ursa Major truffle fries--each bite packed with flavor and expertly crafted. The drinks were equally impressive. The Rose French 75 was elegant and refreshing, while the Watermelon Lavender Daiquiri offered a unique, floral twist that was both light and flavorful. And the Strawberries and Cream spiked ice cream cocktail? Pure dessert heaven--sweet, boozy, and indulgent in the best way. I returned for breakfast the next morning and was just as wowed. I had a cookie butter latte and the breakfast burrito; which was hearty and perfectly seasoned. Sky Nova has quickly become one of my favorite spots. The food is creative, the cocktails are memorable, and the atmosphere is both fun and relaxing. Can't wait to go back and see what they're serving next!

We had a fantastic dinner with a large party here. At first, we were hesitant about sitting outside, but the atmosphere and temperature were absolutely perfect--it made for a great experience. Our waitress was phenomenal: attentive, friendly, and really made us feel taken care of. Several of us ordered the steak, and it was outstanding--cooked perfectly, generous in portion, and worth every bite. We wrapped things up with dessert, which was just as impressive. Highly recommend for both food and service!

Friendly staff and great views. Sliders and fries were hot and delicious. We enjoyed the outdoor seating but there are indoor and private igloo options available.

We stayed onsite in the domes for 3 nights. We enjoyed a few meals at SkyNova. Breakfast was good! The coffee was fabulous and the servers are so friendly. For dinner we shared the sliders and trout. The ambiance is cool and futuristic. The chairs have a cool look but are extremely heavy to move in and out. The friendly faces at the bar brought us back. We loved hearing their stories and sharing experiences with them. A shout out to Thalia, we wish her the best of luck in her adventures!

    Sky Nova restaurant so gorgeous.

Clear Sky Resorts has really done it. You feel transported to another world. It's a splurge well worth it.

The Dome. A phenomenal drink with a special flare at the beginning.

Sky Nova at Bryce Canyon offers an unforgettable dining experience that perfectly complements its stunning location. The restaurant's floor-to-ceiling windows showcase breathtaking views, making it ideal for sunset dinners or stargazing under the clear skies. The menu features a creative twist on classic American fare with highlights like their zesty citrus-herb trout and the star-gazer burger. The flavors are amazing, the portions are generous, and so tasty. The Zodiac milkshakes are also a must try (spiked or virgin), so delicious and a perfect end to an amazing dining experience. Service is friendly and attentive, Whether you're visiting Bryce Canyon for adventure or relaxation, Sky Nova is a must-visit spot to end your day on a high note.

The $22 drink with no bubbles. Not as advertised and not worth the money

We arrived about 6 and waited about 20 minutes for a very nice booth. We split a pretty good-sized house salad. It was fine. I had the trout with asparagus and sweet potato fries. Fish (lemon pepper and salt) was tasty and perfectly prepared. Asparagus was also perfectly cooked, still a bit of crunch. The fries were too limp but tasted good. My hubs ordered the ribeye. Looked so juicy and charred but was a bit tough. Flavor was great and it was a gigantic 16-oz. portion. Coffee was tasteless, unfortunately. The absolute highlight of the meal was the pie! The apple pie is the best I have ever eaten. The filling contained nice slices of apples, no mushy stuff here. And the crust was incredibly flaky with a bit of sugar baked on top. My husband ordered the cherry pie à la mode and was quite pleased with the pie and two little scoops of ice cream alongside. Nice staff too! This place is popular for a reason. It HAS to be that incredible pie.

So glad we had dinner early because this place was a bit packed, I believe, due to it being the week of Thanksgiving. Food was good! I enjoyed my elk burger and kinda wish I didn't get bacon since it overpowered the elk a bit. The elk was delicious. I should've just ordered 2 patties. My wife had the rainbow trout. Not the best trout I've had, but it was okay. They were a bit short staffed, hence the crowd waiting in the lobby. So kudos to our waitress, who was the only server on this Monday shift. The bartender also had to do double duty, seating us. Overall, despite the understaffing issue, we had a nice dinner. When's the next time you'd get to eat elk! Our server Hallie (I think) was awesome and literally ran around helping the tables. Also, great selection of beers!!

I had the trout which was melt in your mouth delicious and my husband loved the ribs. The vibe was so cool and Matthew strummed the guitar and sang beautifully throughout the meal. We missed the live music since we arrived so early to snag a seat (place fills quickly!) FOOD: Popcorn provided as a snack-- yum! We ordered the steak and ribs, which were both good. The steak was simply seasoned but cooked medium rare as requested and tender. The ribs were tender (not quite fall-off-the-bone but easy to eat) and the barbecue sauce was tasty with a bit of a kick. We could each choose two sides, so we chose soup (red pepper and Gouda, like a tasty spin on tomato soup) and loaded baked potato (well done!) for the steak, and mashed potatoes (served broccoli instead, but it's fine) and onion rings (tasty & crispy). Condiments including ketchup, A1 sauce and mayonnaise were all on the table for easy access. SERVICE: Very nice and attentive. OVERALL: Very good choice among the relatively limited options nearby. Seats do fill up quickly. We missed the live music but were seated with the first seating without a wait, so we were content.

First came for lunch and our server TiTAn was grrreat!! Sooo attentive and very nice! The food was fine. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and the chicken was dry. I got a trip to the salad bar for my side and this hit the spot! The prices are a bit high but it is a tourist spot with limited options..so it tracks. We came again for dinner and the service was great once again! I got the buffet this time and it had so many options. For $28 it just made sense since it was just a few dollars more - with so many options. They have a hot section, a salad bar and a small dessert bar with a few options. Since hotel guests get a free breakfast buffet, we decided to try it out. The service was practically non-existent. Soooooo baaaad and the energy our server had was beyond lacking. The breakfast was okay. Since it was free...it did the job. The usual tray of scrambled eggs, oatmeal, pancakes, fruit, bagels, yogurt, several cereals to choose from, a few juices to choose from along with coffee. Nothing too exciting.

It was very large with BBQ brisket and onion rings inside (among other things) and came with a side (I chose the rice pilaf). $22 for the burger was slightly on the pricey side, but it was a large portion. The place itself is connected to the historic Ruby's Inn so it's not surprising that it seems a bit old. At the same time, that oldness sort of adds to the nice historic vibe. As mentioned, the buffet didn't look the best though. There is plenty of seating and a large parking out in front. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The service speed was pretty quick. Overall, while this is definitely more of a casual dining experience, the historic nature of the place makes it a unique experience and the food is not as bad as other Yelpers on here make it seem (at least from the menu). With limited other quality restaurants in the area, I actually think this is a very good option.
