But the entree (steak) was so bad we struggled through a few bites, but couldn't eat any more. It was so over salted we couldn't even taste the food- and we like savory, bold flavors. The meat was super tough and chewy. I don't think I've ever had meat that chewy in my life. It was an actual jaw workout. I realize the cows are local and grass fed so the meat is going to be leaner- that's fine with me. I could tell the quality of the meat was exceptional. But the cooking was just BAD. And the plate was a hot mess of ultra salty peppercorn sauce, mushrooms, and potatoes all dumped on one plate swimming in sauce. Potatoes and mushrooms would have been good if they could have escaped that sauce. I've never had a restaurant just dump peppercorn sauce all over the entire plate. It looked unappetizing and tasted so much worse. We would have sent the food back but the server was just too kind, and we couldn't bring ourselves to do it. Such a bummer and such a waste of money. I feel bad for the cow that gave its life to be seasoned and cooked so poorly.

(We've had a handful of very mediocre bar/public experiences in Utah, and this was NOT one of them.) In addition to their very own COLD and TASTY beers on tap, I had the EOTW Lager & he had the IPA - both YUM! They also have a full bar liquor license (also very hard to come by in this area of Utah, apparently?) the couples sitting next to us was having cocktails, and they looked really good! Our understanding is the menu has recently changed from pizza etc... So we got deli sandwiches for dinner. I had the Italian... focaccia was amazingly GOOD! He had the pastrami... GRUB! Served with the chips & a pickle - sandwiches were BIG and exactly what we wanted! The service was friendly and the vibe was casual, chill and seemed like a really great community of locals and friends.

My only complaint is that they are closed today and we can't go back again for dinner.

This was probably one of the best meals I have had in a very long time and we are from a big city - Los Angeles and eat out often. Loved our waitress! I don't know her real name but she was so very sparkly and personable and funny! She showed us pics on the iPad and definitely sold me! We tried the pretzel appetizer (amazing), the beet carpaccio (also just fantastic). I had the duck, my daughter had the linguine bolognese and a side of steak cooked immaculately perfect. We also had the salmon tofu, burger and fries, the pork ribeye. Everything was plated beautifully and tasted 10/10!!! We even had dessert and my Utah peach and blueberry crisp was perfection and I was devastated to have to leave it half eaten as my child had a meltdown. Will definitely write this recommendation so that the world knows to stop here. Thank you for a lovely meal and for helping me with my kiddo.

If you look at its operating hours then you are like, "what the heck?!" Who opens just Tuesday to Sunday, 5 to 9PM? That's a grand total of 24 hours a week! Well once you have their foods then you change your minds. The foods were super delicious. The elk sliders, the clam chowders, the filet mignon, and the prime steaks were all on point. Please double check that the steaks are not over cooked. The filet mignon was the only piece overcooked for us but the kitchen made up for it. It was also such a big piece of filet mignon that you normally cannot find everywhere. So we were definitely happy campers. As for the ambience the place is upscale and reflects the high end steakhouse feel. So pricing reflected as such which is perfectly fine by me. I just don't get other local places charging equally high prices when the setting is casual. Oh one regret was that the bison steak was not available this time around. Can't wait to return for that!

My husband is a meatloaf lover, so he got the bacon wrap meatloaf. He said it was just OK, the appearance was amazing in a little tower, but it really needed a sauce on it. It was kind of dry. he ordered some gravy to go on top and our waiter brought him out some and that made all the difference. Could also just be how we're used to eating meatloaf and my husband thinks every meat has to have a sauce. Lol He also got the French onion soup and thought it was absolutely amazing and scarfed down every bite of it. That was recommended to us by the waiter as one of his favorites. I got the filet mignon and chose to top it with truffle butter, I was not disappointed. It was cooked perfectly, nice and lean, and the truffle butter was done just right not over the top, paired perfectly with the steak. I would highly recommend that. We got the calamari which was nicely battered (lightly) It was cooked correctly, and they even added fried okra in with the pepper mix. That was something unique to me, but it actually paired perfectly and I really enjoyed it. The aïoli that came with it was delightful as well. So overall, we would definitely recommend this. It is nice on the inside, but I wouldn't say upscale suit and tie kind of place, I did feel a little out of place walking in there and hiking boots and sweat though.
