After spending two weeks traveling Utah parks, this meal was BY FAR the best of the trip. We hoped to enjoy the back patio with our dog however only service dogs are allowed. Luckily there are two tables on the front patio where dogs are allowed. The pricing is definitely a splurge but given the mediocre food options near the many parks of Utah, well worth it to eat here.

After a long day at the park it was great to return to our hotel and have dinner right next to our lodging. We were greeted & seated outdoor to dine with this amazing view. Great menu & service from our waitress. Our food was delicious and well prepared. You definitely have to dine here on your visit.

We specifically came back to Zions to eat at this place. Love the staff here. They are always so friendly. We got the pretzel and it was huge! Loved the crunch outside and the soft bread inside. Dips were okay. We both wanted to try the Wagyu steak special. They were cooked perfectly. The fried plantains on top was a new thing for us but paired well. We were a little disappointed in how much gristle was in each of our steaks. $69 should not have so much gristle.

This was my favorite dinner place in Springdale near the Zion park area. The food was amazing. I really liked the Hibiscus Pineapple Margarita which was also recommended by the server. We ordered an appetizer with prosciutto, cheese and bread that was one of their specials. My entree was the Pork Porterhouse and it was delicious; the portion size is large so I shared some with my husband. The view for this restaurant is beautiful since it's close to the mountains. The outdoor dining area looked nice but since it felt like 100 degrees we sat inside. Overall, great food and service. I'd definitely dine here again.

Very happy I came here with my friends for dinner after a long day of driving and touristing around. We were also staying at the hotel where the restaurant is located, making it convenient for us. We went in on a Saturday night, and although it was busy, there was plenty of seating available for an 8 pm dinner. We were sat outside and happy to be there as the weather was lovely. Our waiter was great. He was super helpful and friendly and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. The food was also scrumptious. Our party of 4 decided to share some entrees and apps. We had the steak, the lobster mac & cheese, and added a salmon to the steak entree. All were very good. I would definitely recommend a dinner here if you want something more upscale, without the pretension.

WOW! What a delight to find such phenomenal cuisine in a tourist location. Trust me, we were extremely impressed with our dining experience from start to finish. We were warmly greeted and promptly seated at a prime table with epic views. The service was friendly and helpful. The wine sommelier (Drew) was extremely knowledgeable and cordial. Both of our entrees were expertly cooked and elegantly presented. Every bite, every sip was a joy. Do yourself a favor while you are in the Zion National Park area and enjoy some fine dining at King's Landing. The YELP reviews don't do it full justice. You too will be delighted!

Great food, service, and a view! Plus, it was right next to our hotel, the Driftwood Lodge. I ordered the duck confit and my friend ordered the steak, both of which were fantastic. I'm picky about my duck and was very pleased with my dish. The strawberry crumble dessert was the chef's mother's recipe so we said, why not. If you're in Zion and want an elevated meal experience, check this place out!

We originally saw this on Yelp because we wanted steak after our Zion hikes. I read several reviews regarding their steak special which goes back many months so it seems like the "special" is a permanent item here which is a 16oz ribeye, averaging $60 over a year ago (per other reviewers). Some also say it was just OK so we decided to order the ELK because we've never tried it before. LONG WAIT FOR FOOD: I also saw reviewers say it took very long to get their food and after waiting 45 mins, I concur that it is true. It takes a very long time for the food to come out. What did we order? Only 2 items and they were medium rare... THE 2 ENTREES: A burger $26 and The Elk striploin medallions $65. We also asked why it took so long for the food to come out. And the answer was "if you don't order an appetizer it takes longer". Well that's an interesting answer and I will leave it at that. The waitress L also never came to apologize why the food took so long to come out. The service was basically nonexsistent. After asking a different person later if they forgot to put the order in, they said that everything is made in house. Agreed, everything SHOULD be made in house, ahead of time. The dining room went from full to cleared except by one table by then time we received our entrees. They started cleaning the dining room at this point and made the experience even less enjoyable than it already was. I know there will be comments from management after seeing this and that's great. I'd like to understand why one grilled burger and one medium rare elk medallions dish took 1 hour to come out so patrons know what to expect. It is not an issue if it is known in advance.

After a long day of visiting Zion National Park and at the end of the day, I'm looking for a good dinner option so we decided to come here due to the high reviews. Since the reservations were packed for the dining area and content with bar seating. Food: I'll keep it short since I was a bit disappointed given the huge hype. The appetizer they offered a pretzel with 2 dips. It was good, but steep pricing (over $15). The chicken and the burger/fries were decent. The pasta had generous meat portions, but the sauce wasn't a huge fan. I found the food to be priced a bit too steep, considering the food was alright quality. Dessert: The sticky toffee pudding was good. Nice moist texture is not as good as the ones in Vegas, but it was good considering the location at Zion. The dessert was reasonably priced. It's not a bad option if you happen to be staying nearby here, but be prepared for the steep prices. The hours are quite limited, and it was already quite busy around early dinner time.

    Poke appetizer
    Tina T.

Sadly disappointed. I had high hopes for dinner, but did not care for the food. We ordered the poke and octopus for starters. The poke was strangely sweet with the coconut milk which I did not like. The octopus was a bit rubbery and also had a sweet almost barbecue sauce that was overpowering. The veggies in that starter and my roast chicken (dry and tough) were really overcooked. They also had a sweet barbecue flavor like the octopus appetizer that I didnʻt like. The rib eye was fine, but dry as well. Overall heavy dinner which was not expected and not at all satisfied.

The view from the patio is absolutely stunning. The lobster mac and cheese was warm, gooey, and delicious, the steak was perfectly medium-rare, the veggies were delicious. My cocktail (I think it was the margarita) was fresh and tasty. Our server was so sweet and made sure we didn't need to ask for anything, she was on top of her game! I'd love to return and highly recommend.

Wanted a "night out" to enjoy food and weather while in St. George and found this, well worth the drive. Such a quaint patio to enjoy the unique scenery and truly get your value from your time spent in the area. But what I really loved was our waitress Shyanne, she was so sweet in such a genuine but not over the top kind of wanting tips way. And when I asked she told us she'd worked there for 6 years. Coming from someone in the restaurant industry. That speaks volumes about this establishment. Food wise, Ribeye was solid, compared to a Texas Roadhouse quality I would say. But fun complimentary sides of plantains, cheese and peppers. A nice twist on an otherwise normal item. Wife enjoyed her elk steak, I'd give it an 8/10. Lobster Mac, wasn't for me, it was a very sharp strong cheese on top of almost an oil based pasta, so an unusual Mac and cheese IMO. But the pretzel was 100% the best pretzel I've ever had. You have to get it. Solid drink selection for Utah (Kings landing old fashion was one of the best old fashions I've had) Will recommend this place to anyone questioning where to go in the area (or even 45 minutes away haha)

    Does this restaurant allow dogs?

Only on their front patio (unless service dog) which has two tables.

Are dogs allowed for outdoor seating?

I believe so, but it's best to call the restaurant and check with them.

    Do we call for reservations?

I don't know that they take reservations. This may have changed so I would give them a call.

I see a giant pretzel in photos but I don't see it on the menu. Is it still available to order?

My group didn't see it on the menu either when we were there a month ago, but we asked about it since we saw other tables had it, and they brought us one. Just ask :)

Is your place open on 27th December? thanks

We are closed Sundays and Mondays depending on the time of the year. Klbzion.com will be updated with all menu and hourly changes.

Is the outdoor patio dog friendly?

it really depends on the dog. needs to be well behaved. we have had issues before where the dog dragged the table right off the patio and was a nuisance to the other guests.

    What is the dress code?

There isn't one. I wore a button-up but there were people in shorts & sandals.

We were on a trip celebrating our anniversary and we were offered complimentary dessert to help us celebrate after dinner. Even though we were stuffed, we took our waiter up on his offer. We enjoyed our meal and had no issues, but it does seem like you need to make a reservation and the best way is online and not through the hostess.

Had a reservation to dine here on April 3, 2026, and what we experienced upon arrival was shocking,…read moreblatant hostility and unprofessional behavior from the hostess (who later identified herself as a manager). When we checked in, Ali (she was not wearing a name tag so I'm unsure about the name spelling. I found out her name from another staff) immediately told us, dismissively and with visible annoyance, that we did not have a reservation. I showed her the confirmation on my phone, but she refused to accept it and said that because it wasn't on her computer, there was "nothing she could do." I was traveling with 3 small children, staying at the lodge, and this was the only dinner option in the park. I asked Ali to please check again, and instead of helping, she loudly yelled at me to step aside so she could assist other guests. What made the situation even more upsetting was that she proceeded to help the white families behind us without issue, while continuing to dismiss and raise her voice at me. When I approached again, she again told me, very loudly and publicly, to step aside and repeated that there was nothing she could do. I was being treated as if I had done something wrong despite having a valid dinner reservation. I then asked to speak to a manager. Ali responded, "I am the manager!!" When I asked if there was another manager I could speak to, she refused multiple times before finally saying she would check. When I asked for the other manager's name ("What is their name?), she began yelling--actually yelling in my face --"HE IS A HE, NOT A THEY! HIS NAME IS SEAN!" This was screamed at me in front of other guests and was completely inappropriate and aggressive. She stormed off and a few minutes later Sean came to assist us. I explained what had just happened. He apologized and attributed her behavior to her "having a rough day" and the restaurant being busy. He then turned the reservation screen toward me to show that my reservation supposedly wasn't there, but I immediately spotted my reservation and pointed it out. He appeared confused and suggested it might have been a "computer glitch" or that the reservation had been deleted. (I wonder who could've deleted my reservation from the computer....) We were eventually seated, but only after being yelled at, dismissed, and humiliated. I considered letting this go, but I just can't. This was the only negative experience on an otherwise wonderful family trip to Zion, and it was significant. No one should be treated this way. Regardless of how busy a restaurant is, there is absolutely no excuse for this level of hostility, nor for speaking to guests in such a demeaning and aggressive manner. Management needs to be aware: someone who treats customers this way should not be in a customer-facing role, let alone acting as a manager. I sincerely hope steps are taken to ensure no other family has to go through what we experienced.
