Incredible experience from start to finish! We didn't have a reservation & didn't want to wait for a table, so headed to the bar which worked out perfectly. When you're in search for fine dining, this definitely is your place to go! However, you're not expected to be full gowned the house down, which I think adds to the niche of this establishment. The service? I would say is kind of awkward. Yes the staff are attentive, yes they care, but they look so worried if they were to displease you. Which kind of makes me think of the environment a little. Yes it may be adjacent to fine dining, but honestly, I think I came in during the crowd of snobs. So if you do dine here don't be a snob, please treat your servers with respect too. They're people too. The food? I wasn't as pleased if I'm being honest. I guess coming during a rush is a 50/50 and I got the latter part of that 50. For starters, my mushroom burger was unfortunately really salty. Like really salty. I think I got the burger that was cooked freshly, however, they're must've been a complaint that got over looked and so the staff had to like bum rush to get that order corrected (again, treat your servers nicely). I had fries and fry sauce with my order. However i did not like it. Like at all. The fries were crisp. Hella crisp. But the the fry sauce wasn't not giving. It had like some sort of minty aftertaste as if I tasted a hint of winter green peppermint. It was unfortunate that I didn't eat the burger. I literally took 3 bites and I was over it. The salt content followed by minty like fry sauce wasn't too much for me to bare. But like I didn't want to tell them it was that bad. lol again, they looked as if they were forced to ensure everything was in tip top shape or else something bad was to happen. As for the brussel sprouts? At first bite it was decent, the after taste was not. After a few bites, the brussel sprouts just started to become bland and sort of had this rubbery taste to it. I am not too sure what it was, but there was definitely something off about it. I think they should've added something sweet to counteract the rich dairy creamy taste to this. So that itd be sweet & savory as opposed to creamy and bitter. I enjoyed the ambience though, the service too. I do think this place could stand the test of time as to how unique it is. The staff are trained properly, food could get a tune up, but idk, it's just when you come in here you know this is some place you'd def see in New York. Though the rating I gave was low, I'm still going to go over here. I kind of plan to try everything on the menu, and to give these folks like 30 chances LoL. This Is The Entire reason why Yelp was created. It's for those family run places that don't follow the corporate box mentality and look toward bringing a unique flavor and perspective to a community. This is DEFINITELY one of those places. It has a bit of a High Tea with the Mad Hatter vibe, which is fantastic. The interior, needs some floor plans to help break up the unobstructed line of site in the restaurant. With a concept like this, you want little places where you can duck and hide from the public. Plants are a great way of doing this. The menu is very nice. They actually have the menus to mix and match. They have their standard food menu, an extensive selection of beets, wines, mixed libations and even a very nice selection of non alcohol drinks as well. The server did a great job of pointing out her favorites including a fried avocado appetizer that is diabolically tasty! For the main meal I went with the Spicy Burger. It wasn't very spicy but out had wonderfully fresh jalapeño slices and guacamole on top. The burger could use a little more seasoning, but, it was a very thick and juicy piece of meat. It comes with fries and a dipping sauce that is also house made. For dessert I tried their carrot cake. It's very good but it's missing the variations in texture that most people look toward carrot cake of providing. It's a very moist cake topped with more of a butter icing than a cream cheese icing. If there is cream cheese in that icing, I would recommend that you switch it toward Philadelphia Cream Cheese since it offers a bit more of a lemon bite to it. The cake itself has no fruit. So, off you hate raisins, have no fear. They are not in there. But, it would be nice if they did have some sort of fruit in the cake to help break up tie monotony of the cake itself. Toss Is a place that is definitely thinking outside the box and so far, it seems to be working really well. A great place right in the center of town with lots of parking and access in both the front and the back of the restaurant. Stopped in Cedar City to get dinner on the way home from a road trip and bumped into this quirky, charming Alice-in-Wonderland themed pub! The decor is darkly hilarious--nailed Lewis Carroll's sense of humor. We arrive day after July 4th and there were these whimsical portraits of colonial founders as animals! The food was excellent too, from mocktails (refreshing), to salads (crisp and inventive), to hot tea (perfectly steeped), to homemade garden burgers (real vegetables!) and carrot cake (which was, thankfully, not too sweet). The staff were all considerate, knowledgeable, and kind...especially on a Sunday night right before closing! Thank you, Emerson! I'm only sad that I didn't get to try the trifle. read more

We had dinner one evening while we were staying in Cedar City, Utah. I ordered the build you own burger, essentially a classic single patty cheese burger with light mayo, and my friend ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad. When the food arrived, both the burger and salad looked promising, but sometimes, as one knows, looks can be deceiving. For a cheese burger, the burger was a little undersized, in my opinion, and although the quality of the beef was very good and tasted quite good, I could not overlook the fact, that they served the burger with a cold bun. That mishap really bothers me. Cold bread on a burger, simply does not work. I am assuming somebody just missed a step, but that one extra missed step put a huge let down on the burger. My friend's chicken Caesar salad looked promising, but unfortunately, the chicken was very over-salted. You could consume a few pieces of the chicken before becoming overwhelmed with salt. We left the chicken, but ate the salad, which was good. We notified, the server regarding the over salting of the chicken, and she stated she would let the prep team know. No apology nor willingness to make it up. The service was friendly enough, but if you ask me if things could have been better, I would say, "absolutely." Toast those buns and taste your food before it makes it to the pass. read more

Full bar is known for its cocktails and mocktails (no alcohol served outside). The menu is chocked full of delicious appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pastas, and burgers/cheeseburgers. That said, my daughter loved them exactly as they were, so clearly the pickle debate lives on. Then came the heartbreak. The menu lists warm cheddar biscuits, and my expectations went through the roof, only to be told there were restrictions and they were only available in the morning or something along those lines. Dreams were made and immediately crushed. We pivoted to the Creamy Garlic Brussels Sprouts and unfortunately all three of us were not fans. Davie happened to walk by, asked how everything was, we were honest about the sprouts, and he absolutely took care of us. Solid human and much appreciated. The restaurant is cozy with many interesting pieces of decoration throughout. Even though they were very busy (lunch crowd) we were noticed and seated very quickly. Very interesting menu with very unique dishes, and all the food was delicious. Will return again. Outside seating is also available. Another amazing thing is that our server Chris was originally from a small town in western New York that we were from as well, he was very professional and helpful as were all the staff. The restaurant is absolutely darling with funky art and decor-animals posed like humans, black walls with bright pink accents, gold accessories-you get it. The music was fun and upbeat, although a bit loud in the corner table where we were seated. Service was friendly enough with a bit of a professional, distant feel. Kind of methodical rather than overly welcoming. The food was presented very nicely-it looked pretty, but I didn't care for the flavor. I'm pretty sure it was the butter flavor that didn't sit right with me-it was just a little too strong and overpowered the eggs and the toast. Pretty solid restaurant. Service was attentive. Food was good not great. 3 pf us ordered salads. They were HUGE! The Cobb salad (add avocado) was good but I did not like the ranch. First of all they only gave you a small ramekin for a Huge Salad. The ranch had a little too much dill which I was not a fan. In addition the avocado was smashed, not freshly cut. It had a strange after taste which left me feeling like it wasn't as fresh as I had hoped. The Mac and cheese had a little too many bread crumbs. The lemon pasta probably had the highest review. So I guess if you're into lemony pasta this might be your best bet. read more

This place is a hidden gem in Cedar City. Smack dab in historic old town, this restaurant offers delicious food, and a plentitude of spirits to choose from. The decor inside is both whimsical and almost dark cottagecore. Seating is comfortable, the service is impeccable, and the music is most enjoyable. Our server was Emilee and she was super courteous, made sure everything was to our liking, and made our visit very memorable. I ordered the prime rib dip and it is more than tasty! My husband ordered the Tweedledum sandwich and he loved it. We both had the house fries which were so yummy! Even the au jus was perfect, not heavy handed with salt nor oily, just perfect! The salads are fresh, the portions are good, and there's always a seasonal menu with fun and new flavors! The sandwiches are hardy and filling. We came here after a hot day of hiking between Bryce & Arches and didn't realize it's a nicer pub. The furniture was cute and it all looked nice together and there was a big bar. It was packed and all the locals seemed to know each other and the staff. The hostess got us seated and menus right away and then our server took our order. It took about 30 minutes for the food to come, but I got the 1/2 bacon turkey club and 1/2 pub Cobb salad. We also had an order of the mozzarella monster and fries. My food was extremely good. The pub was very busy and we got there at 5:30 and by 5:45 the line was out the door. Would recommend! read more

We stopped by on a roadtrip going to Colorado. The place is absolutely charming with the decor that has a little Alice in wonderland with a boutique vibe. Service was excellent. It was fairly simple with Swiss cheese and bacon (I asked for no ham) and other condiments. Nothing exceptional but fairly solid. If I went back, I would order something else, not because it wasn't good but just to continue to explore their menu. Very cool place, they had great decoration. Ordered a French dip to go. It was terrible a small sandwich with no dip! No sides, it's supposed to come with French fries! $20 for a small incomplete sandwich. Not coming back The issue was NOT taken care of immediately as the manager states. We left and went home . Then while we were eating it I said well this isn't great how do we have a French dip without dip! Unbeknownst to me my friend then called the pub and they said they would replace it for a new one. They said it would be ready in ten minutes. U already had eaten my other one as I didn't know she was getting replacement. When she got there she had to wait an additional 30 minutes to get her "replacement" . So no it was not taken care of during our initial visit. read more

In the five years since I have had celiac, I have never been to a restaurant as good as this one for preparing gluten-free meals. When the owner showed us to our table, I told him I had celiac. He said let me show you through the menu. He went through every section of the menu and showed me what they could safely prepare for me and what they could not. Over 2/3 of the menu was available completely gluten-free. He said, and we don't charge anymore for our gluten-free versions than we do the regular versions because you deserve to eat good food too. Without me even asking he told me the steps they take to prevent cross-contamination. The waitress was well trained in gluten free also. My daughter ordered the same three cheese pasta dish that I did except hers was not Gluten-free. She tasted both and could not tell the difference. My portions were every bit as large as hers, had the same consistency as hers, and I even got some very yummy garlic bread with mine, also. I will definitely return. I feel anyone that must eat completely gluten-free can feel safe and comfortable eating here. All the food tastes fantastic. Everyone working here is so friendly also. read more
