We had dinner one evening while we were staying in Cedar City, Utah. I ordered the build you own burger, essentially a classic single patty cheese burger with light mayo, and my friend ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad. When the food arrived, both the burger and salad looked promising, but sometimes, as one knows, looks can be deceiving. For a cheese burger, the burger was a little undersized, in my opinion, and although the quality of the beef was very good and tasted quite good, I could not overlook the fact, that they served the burger with a cold bun. That mishap really bothers me. Cold bread on a burger, simply does not work. I am assuming somebody just missed a step, but that one extra missed step put a huge let down on the burger. My friend's chicken Caesar salad looked promising, but unfortunately, the chicken was very over-salted. You could consume a few pieces of the chicken before becoming overwhelmed with salt. We left the chicken, but ate the salad, which was good. We notified, the server regarding the over salting of the chicken, and she stated she would let the prep team know. No apology nor willingness to make it up. The service was friendly enough, but if you ask me if things could have been better, I would say, "absolutely." The restaurant is cozy with many interesting pieces of decoration throughout. Even though they were very busy (lunch crowd) we were noticed and seated very quickly. Very interesting menu with very unique dishes, and all the food was delicious. Will return again. Outside seating is also available. Another amazing thing is that our server Chris was originally from a small town in western New York that we were from as well, he was very professional and helpful as were all the staff. My son and I stopped by Sunday morning for breakfast before hitting the road. The restaurant is absolutely darling with funky art and decor-animals posed like humans, black walls with bright pink accents, gold accessories-you get it. The music was fun and upbeat, although a bit loud in the corner table where we were seated. Service was friendly enough with a bit of a professional, distant feel. Kind of methodical rather than overly welcoming. The food was presented very nicely-it looked pretty, but I didn't care for the flavor. I'm pretty sure it was the butter flavor that didn't sit right with me-it was just a little too strong and overpowered the eggs and the toast. First of all they only gave you a small ramekin for a Huge Salad. The ranch had a little too much dill which I was not a fan. In addition the avocado was smashed, not freshly cut. It had a strange after taste which left me feeling like it wasn't as fresh as I had hoped. The Mac and cheese had a little too many bread crumbs. The lemon pasta probably had the highest review. The Pub Spirits+ craft kitchen is my go to place! We literally eat lunch there everyday when we are in town. The salads are fresh, the portions are good, and there's always a seasonal menu with fun and new flavors! The sandwiches are hardy and filling. My favorite sandwich is the Bandersnatch and Cobb salad. The fries and the fry sauce is delicious! There's also a kids menu and alcoholic beverages! We stopped by on a roadtrip going to Colorado. The place is absolutely charming with the decor that has a little Alice in wonderland with a boutique vibe. Service was excellent. Our waitress had helpful advice and very personable. I ordered the Mochatini. To drink. Um- I fell in LOVE. When the food came out, it looked and tasted as good if not BETTER than anticipated. We came here after a hot day of hiking between Bryce & Arches and didn't realize it's a nicer pub. The furniture was cute and it all looked nice together and there was a big bar. It was packed and all the locals seemed to know each other and the staff. The hostess got us seated and menus right away and then our server took our order. It took about 30 minutes for the food to come, but I got the 1/2 bacon turkey club and 1/2 pub Cobb salad. We also had an order of the mozzarella monster and fries. My food was extremely good. The pub was very busy and we got there at 5:30 and by 5:45 the line was out the door. Would recommend! read more

Then while we were eating it I said well this isn't great how do we have a French dip without dip! Unbeknownst to me my friend then called the pub and they said they would replace it for a new one. They said it would be ready in ten minutes. U already had eaten my other one as I didn't know she was getting replacement. When she got there she had to wait an additional 30 minutes to get her "replacement" . So no it was not taken care of during our initial visit. read more

It was fairly simple with Swiss cheese and bacon (I asked for no ham) and other condiments. Nothing exceptional but fairly solid. If I went back, I would order something else, not because it wasn't good but just to continue to explore their menu. Very cool place, they had great decoration. We dined here 2 nights ago and loved our dinner. Our server I think was Aimee and she was excellent with great food recommendations. I had the la crema Chardonnay and my husband had an ipa. He wasn't thrilled with his beer but my wine was great. We then had the goat cheese with pita bread starter. It was amazing. For our entrees I had 1/2 Cali Taco salad which was very good and my husband had the Bobs Your Uncle Pasta with crostini's He said his was fantastic. The place is a bit funky but that was fine. Ugh... what a misfire. I wanted to like it, but there was just so much wrong. First off, it's not a pub as it states it is. They have 4 beers on the menu and they don't even have a bar to sit at. Secondly, our waiter ignored us for ten minutes and when he finally showed up at our table he just said, "Do you know what you want?" I ordered a drink and had to ask for it twice and he was very inattentive. The decor is reminiscent of a very specific era 2015-2017ish and is a mix of dark academia, cougar town and Alice in wonderland. It is trying very hard and just not hitting. The food was also not great. I ordered the chicken basket, thinking it would be a safe bet. These were balls of chicken that had been smashed into form and over fried. They were hard, tasteless and like everything else on the menu, over priced. My husbands burger was no more impressive. Lastly, I realize this issue is more of a Utah thing in general, but what is up with these weirdly shaped "curly fries?" These are not curly fries. They are some sort of potato wedge, ubiquitously served with a nasty red sauce they call "fry sauce." I don't know why you can't just get normal fries here. It's not some endearing cultural offering like Hatch Green Chilis or TX BBQ, its just a weird abomination of a normal french fry. Overall, would not be back. Wow where to start. I hadn't heard anything really outstanding about this place except that the food was okay and the prices high. But it's July 4th and it felt to hot to walk to the park and eat over priced food in the sun. I walk in and the decor?!? I knew exactly what my crew meant by, "they're trying to be California." But I kinda knew what I was in for and it was very hot outside. I was seated quickly and that was despite me asking for a normal table not a highboy. The pink and gray is a bit unappealing for dinning but brass animals with glasses. The fact that in all this time since Silas left no one has moved or hidden the drink station seams weird. You want to be so, so bougie, I mean those animals are so expensive, but you still leave a work station that exposed, it's a choice I guess? Now my waitress well I think she thought I was out of my price range and was a bit snippy at first but once I ordered a drink she seemed to ease into me being there. I was the only person in there alone so I guess that was the problem or maybe my clothing I am eclectic myself, much like their decor. Like I said I heard it was expensive and it is, a beer is $8 for a pint. Pasta and a beer without tip sets you back $35+ I chose, "Bobs Your Uncle" off the lunch menu. She assured me it was one of the most popular items. I have to say hard pass. I only ate about a quarter of it. Way too rich for a lunch dish, especially in the heat of summer. Maybe it's better at dinner or in the dead of winter. Then there is all the balsamic reduction, I look at these photos, why so damn much! Way too much, in fact this dish didn't need any. Now the bread, the bread was the best part of my whole meal. I only drank less than half my drink. So yes, get that bread. I saw my waitress only when she brought me things, so make sure you write a list so you don't have to flag her down and like I said she got better after I ordered. In her defense she was also serving outside so a long way off. Maybe assigning wait staff to sections may help. I did have to ask the hostess how I pay and if I could pay to get back to work. Lastly, management. Maybe this male was a floor manager and not a full manager. Maybe the guy tagging after him was training or table buster. I have no clue, but I will say this at those prices all employees should be, ON POINT! Not just the wait staff, if you leave that kitchen you tuck your shirt in. Those two guys looked so dang sloppy it was ri-DAMN-diculous!! Just saying so unprofessional for management to look sloppy. I think that's all. Thanks! read more

We had the Asian chicken salad and the pomegranate salad and they were so fresh and tasty. The ambiance is cute and they had a lot of Halloween decorations. We've been going to this location for years, going back to when it was a more casual sandwich shop, and although we liked then, it has improved greatly under the new name and owners. On our recent visits, we enjoyed their main course salads, one of their pasta dishes, the goat cheese appetizer, and cocktails. Everything is so carefully and deliciously prepared. The salads here are stars, with crisp lettuce and flavorful additions. We can't decide among the Asian Crunch, Mexican-style, and any salad that has seasonal fruit. The cocktails are from a curated menu, and are ones that most of would never prepare at home. My wife very much liked her Mocha Martini, which could be a dessert by itself. Did I say dessert? We were persuaded to order one, and ate almost every bite of their Apple cobbler. The service was friendly and efficient, and the decor is a nice modern environment with artwork on all the walls. This place is so cute!! We stop in on our way home to Salt Lake from St George. We needed something that had gluten free options. The menu is updated showing what is or can be made gf. The service was great and quick! I ordered the queen of hearts gf pasta. It came with bread. She sat it in front of me and everything looked too good to be gf. It tasted amazing! The bread was some of the best gf bread I've had. My daughter got the gf kids Mac n cheese. It was so cheesy and delicious! My husband got the chicken hot honey, he loved it. My son got the kids chicken and fries. We did the gf cookies for dessert. They were good but not as great as the gf pasta and bread. Stopped by here for dinner when driving back to Las Vegas...cool spot in the downtown area of Cedar City...short wait at close to 8 pm so that was a good sign, if it were empty I'd have been concerned...the veggie burger was spot on, the fries were adequate but I wasn't a real big fan of the accompanying sauce...the pasta dinner was good as well with small pieces of chicken spread throughout the penne...the balsamic dressing was a bit overwhelming however, not in taste but in quantity, way too much...the service was fine, didn't feel rushed at any time and answers to our questions were on point...the IPA was very nice as was the Beaujolais glass of wine...nice dinner for $55 before tip in a nice boutique type of restaurant was well worth the stop...cool art on the walls, give this place a nice vibe...RECOMMEND read more

A Most Curious and Delightful Supper Upon stepping through the threshold of this most whimsically adorned establishment, one finds oneself quite nearly tumbled down the rabbit hole of culinary delight. The embellishments throughout the restaurant are not merely decorations, but a veritable celebration of theme--each detail charmingly committed to its part, as if the Mad Hatter himself had lent a hand in the arrangement. The cuisine, I daresay, was absolutely exquisite. I partook in the hot honey kettle-crusted chicken--a dish so splendidly prepared it might well have spoken had I not devoured it first. Crisped to golden perfection and kissed with the warm embrace of sweet fire, it was a meal to rival the Queen's own banquet (though far less perilous). A special curtsy to young Indie, our gallant server, whose attentiveness and cheerful demeanor made the experience all the more enchanting. Indeed, the entire staff conducted themselves with such polish and charm that one half expected them to break into riddle or rhyme. Now, a curious note for the ladies' powder room: the toilet paper therein does appear to dance ever so lightly beneath the influence of a mischievous air vent, creating a rather brisk experience for one's nether bits. Not unpleasant, mind you--just a bit of silliness that would not be out of place at a tea party with a Dormouse. Came down as a group of friends and stopped in Cedar to eat. We were going to go to another restaurant and walked into that place and it smelled dirty and the girl behind the counter didn't and say anything at all including a simple Hi. Needless to say we left immediately and chose to go here we were not disappointed. From the moment we walked into a clean restaurant to the friendly greeting to the incredible food it was an excellent experience. Seriously the food was very yummy we tried the pasta, the white rabbit sandwich and the brussel sprouts. Every thing was so tasty - absolutely going here again.
