The music made the whole ambiance so cozy and inviting. Staff super attentive and kind. They give you popcorn instead of bread which is a unique twist, and it tasted great. The BBQ platter was filling and all good, especially the brisket. Stopped in this town for 1 night and it's awesome!

Five stars for sure! Our family of 4 arrived at the perfect time so we had no wait but there were lots of folks waiting for a long time after us because this place is clearly so popular! Our waitress was lovely and offered recommendations, like trying the Jack Sauce! (We even got a bottle to go!) Can't go wrong with anything with that sauce on it. Also, tried a dirty soda & got s'mores to go! yum!! There was also live country music, which was such a nice treat and made for great ambiance. Would definitely go back!

What a lifesaver after hiking in Bryce. Best 1/2 roasted chicken on the planet. Husband got the pork ribeye. Dang guys you got it going on. Beautiful shaded outdoor seating. Wonderful gem in Tropic.

Such a memorable and amazing experience. Half of the restaurants we looked at near Bryce looked either nasty or overpriced. This was absolutely perfect. They have pasta, burgers, sandwiches, and meat. There is live music as well! I am very hard to please, but the service and the food was absolutely phenomenal. 10/10

Ok so if you are in Bryce Canyon this is a must go for food, awesome entertainment and some of the best service!!!!. This was our night before we leave to travel back home dinner spot. I am so sad we waited for our last night to visit. We were treat to live entertainment. Some old time country favorites. Not only was the music great, this was on of the only places we been that had live entertainment and the volume was at a level where you could carry on a conversation. Kudos to Showdowns!!!! So for the food, I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs with a loaded baked potato and stemmed vegi's. The ribs were what you would consider competition style. So one thing that stands out is when you take a bite that's all that comes off. The ribs were perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. The baked potato was done like it should be done. Properly cooked and loaded. The vegi's were cooked perfectly. Not mush and not raw. They had a great bite to them. The service was very pleasant, and spot on as far as checking on us and refilling our drinks. Only wished we could've stayed later to enjoy the music.

The red pepper soup with pesto grilled cheese on focaccia

We were very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. We had reviewed all of the yelp/google reviews and saw that it was highly rated. We went with our kids and were able to find a good hearty meal for a great price. The soup with the focaccia pesto, grilled cheese was out of this world. The staff was kind and patient with my wild kiddos which I really appreciated. It has a really cute and homey feel to it. I can see why it would be a local fave

Four people are gathered for a photo outside a rustic wooden building with open doors, illuminated by string lights. The group includes two women and two men, all smiling and dressed casually. The background shows trees and a stone wall, indicating an outdoor setting at dusk. The building appears to be a business, possibly a restaurant or shop, with clothing displayed outside.

Loved this place! Love the ambiance; love the food & loved the service. Got seated right away and immediately the hostess delivered a large bowl of popcorn and a pitched of water - the popcorn was a nice surprise! Waiter recommended the burgers do we got a couple of Bryce Canyon Sunrise burgers and a couple of Portabella mushroom burgers. The burgers were KILLER and I'd go back just for the burgers again, but there were several other menu items that looked great. They have nice tables for both inside and outside and the night we were there, they had live music.

Indoor seating area - The image shows a large indoor dining area with wooden walls, beams, and furniture. Multiple groups of people are seated at long wooden tables and benches, engaging in conversation and dining. The space is well-lit with small wall-mounted lights, and windows with red checkered curtains allow natural light. A television is mounted on the far wall, and the overall atmosphere appears lively and casual.

After visiting Bryce, we were hungry and headed to Showdown's for dinner. We opted for outdoor seating as the music was kind of loud indoors, but we could hear it at just the right volume from outside. My daughter got the Southwest Pasta, which included a spicy creamy sauce, shrimp, and andouille sausage and was served with a delicious piece of garlic bread. I knew I'd end up eating some of her pasta, so I ordered a loaded baked potato which was perfectly filled with cheese, bacon, butter, and sour cream. We loved the complimentary popcorn that was brought to us while we waited for our food to arrive. Service was excellent and prices were about average. Drinks were great as well and I was happy to get to try some local brews. I would definitely return here or recommend it to anyone staying in tropic.

Showdowns select cut (10 oz). We got a (huge) side salad instead of the vegetables.

The food here is excellent and they are very accommodating to requests. We have a dog and they had a table that is perfect for dog owners. They brought her water and the wait staff was really good to her in a way that made our meal more relaxing and enjoyable! There was live music that we enjoyed without taking over our night out.

Free popcorn - A rectangular black tray contains a large serving of popcorn, with some pieces spilling over the edge. The tray is on a black metal table, and a glass and a drink container are visible behind it. There is also a paper label with handwritten text on the table.

The space itself is beautiful, with very high ceilings that make it feel open and elegant. The ambiance is especially stunning at night, with the chandelier reflections creating such a cozy and elevated atmosphere. The service was excellent. The waiters were very friendly and attentive, making the experience feel personalized and welcoming. We tried their specialty drinks along with the beef stir-fry fajita, burger and fries, and egg bowls. Everything was very fresh, well-seasoned, and perfectly spiced, with generous portions that were really satisfying. In the morning, we chose to sit outside since the weather was so nice, and it was absolutely worth it. The views are beautiful, and enjoying breakfast in the sunlight made the experience even more special. Overall, great food, lovely ambiance, and amazing service. I guess compared to others whose reviews stated it took too long to receive their food, we should consider ourselves lucky (?). But we weren't even halfway through the salad when our entrees were delivered. Then we were halfway through our entrees when we were asked if we'd like dessert. Nope thanks. Bing bang boom, 23 minutes. Salad was soggy, like it had been sitting in the dressing for a while, not freshly tossed. Short rib ($39) and accompanying polenta were very dry (heat lamp much?). Pappardelle ($32) was just ok. This place SHOULD be amazing. For folks staying in the domes it's a no-brainer, and outsiders are intrigued by the fun vibe. But for one sad salad, 2 just-ok entrees, 2 sodas, no alcohol and no dessert, the total tab was $90 not including tip. And the full dining experience was less than 30 minutes. Don't waste your time. If you want to experience the dome, grab a drink at the bar. Then take a 10 minute drive up the road to Stone Hearth Grille for an amazing meal. Two stars for interesting ambiance and a very friendly server.

The Fried Pickles were amazing. The batter on them remained crispy and crunchy even halfway through our entrees. It was paired with this creamy horseradish-y sauce, and it worked so well. The pretzel was a bit on the saltier side for my liking but my fiance and his dad loved them! We all ordered steaks for dinner, because that's what they specialize in. They even have a grill for you to cook your own steak on!! Unfortunately it was broken when we dined in, but honestly i'm glad because I cannot cook for the life of me haha. The steaks were all cooked to our liking and tasted amazing. I also wanted to point out our amazing server Gabby. She was so sweet and truly made our experience 100x better. Definitely make sure to ask for her next time you go!

It's about a 25-minute drive out, so not super close. When we got there, I hesitated walking in at first because of a sign saying it's a bar, so I had to double-check we were in the right spot. Turns out, they do serve food, but since it's a bar, no one under 21 is allowed--just a heads up if you're traveling with kids. The menu has local meats from Kanab, and I went with the half rack of ribs. The fries came with a salad where you can add your own toppings -- huge portion and pretty tasty. The ribs were super tender and fell right off the bone. The fries were crispy, which was nice. My husband got the 12 oz ribeye with potatoes, and he got to add his own toppings too. The garlic roll was kinda meh--nothing special. The beer on tap was cold and refreshing, but my Pepsi was flat. Overall, it was a good meal with friendly service. If im ever in the area I would visit again . One thing that stood out to me was the worn out carpet tiles . The place is pretty big, and the tables were placed along the sides ( due to it being a bar first , I guess they need all the open space) -- a new floor update would make it feel much more inviting! If you're in the area and craving steak and ribs , it's worth a visit. :)
