Ruby's Inn serves a purpose of feeding many people as fast as possible. We ate here will visiting Bryce Canyon. We had dinner and the breakfast buffet the next day. It reminded me of Golden Coral. Not the best but it was the only thing available. The place is crowded but they get you in and out pretty fast. Don't expect much if you eat here. Oh, the salad bar was decent.

We stayed overnight at Ruby's Inn on our visit to Bryce National Park. The Inn offered a COMPLEMENTARY BREAKFAST COUPON from 6:30 to 9:00 am. Anywhere that offers breakfast gets a bonus point in my book. I do not function well in the morning without that adrenalin boost of caffeine and loaded carbs in my system. Location - It's close to the National Park and their General Store and in a historical landmark. What was offered: MORNING BUFFET (French Toast, Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Boiled Eggs, Potatoes and Country Gravy, Canned Fruits and Mandarian, Yogurt, Orange Juice, and Coffee) - I had an outstanding breakfast buffet experience. The quality of the food was good, and the service was friendly. While a line was nonexistent at 7 am, guests were starting to roll in by the time we were finished. I also loved the ambiance of a cozy and historical setting. A poster on the wall shows the rates in 1922 - Meat Sandwich $0.15, Served on the plate at the table $0.25, Bed for one person $1.25, Dinner $0.75 to $1.00... One hundred years later, the current rate is like moving over two decimal points.

We agreed this place did the job. Meaning we arrived hungry, and when we left the void was filled. The buffet was alright. The salad bar had good looking produce. The chicken was moist! The fried fish was frozen fish sticks I'm sure. My friends ordered the patty melt and a burger. They said it was very good.

I'm surprised that there's not much of a choice for a really good meal in Bryce. There maybe a decent place here and there but nothing to run too. Well, this place is right in the heart of Bryce. Part of the hotel, it's a prime spot and as it easy to get too. It was quite busy both time we came as it was just easy for a meal. Waiting time wasn't that long though. But once your walk in, it was crowded and people everywhere. There's the buffet and menu options. Maybe about 10 percent of the guest that were there had a mask on when the walked in or while there. I feel Like maybe a small potion of the staff only had their mask on while the rest didn't. Food wise, it's a meal. Nothing major to rave about. The buffer had your basic salad bar. The hot dishes, chicken, salmon, spare ribs and so on. The sides, steamed veggies, corn bread, potatoes. The usual buffet. The good thing, they did have gloves available for you while at the buffet. Half used them and the other half didn't care at all. Some dishes did go fast and took a while to be replace. The dessert bar your usual carrot cake, German chocolate, and vanilla cake. All was still cold and needed to be thawed a while but just brought about anyways. Also had the ice cream section as well. We had the same waitress both visit. Restaurant was also busy and same food for the buffet even though they had different menu on display. Staff was good and price for buffet was great as well. Make due with what there was.

I was initially a bit skeptical on coming here after reading the other reviews, but it wasn't as bad as I had thought it would be. There is a sign on the door that says masks are required but it was definitely a policy that wasn't enforced. I saw several people being seated despite not wearing or having a mask. However, all of the staff members were wearing masks. I ordered the fish tacos and they were okay. There wasn't too much flavor but I will say that the fish tacos with the fries was a good amount of food. The fries weren't what I was expecting, but it was fun to eat fries that looked different that the traditional fries. They looked like thick chips and were very crunchy. Overall, I don't think I would stop by here again if I was in the area. For the prices that they charge, it does seem a bit expensive for the food that you get.

The Ruby's inn offers breakfast buffet coupon for their guests, while serving the public as well. The place is usually full and they serve from 6.30 to 9pm which is late enough for the area's standards. Good quality breakfast and value for the price you pay for the inn.

Okay, lunch entrees (fish tacos & club sandwich) were good last visit. But our two grilled shrimp dinners w/ baked potatoes & salad bar were excellent. Eight large well-seasoned (not too salty) shrimps skewered were succulent. After a long day of hiking Bryce Canyon Peekaboo Trail, this meal (& IPA) was a great way to finish to the day.

Loved it! Great friendly staff. Nice beautiful place. We had free breakfast buffet from staying at Ruby's inn hotel Best Western. Large breakfast buffet.

Very good surprise. This place has a pretty good soup and salad buffet. And is one of the only option in town

This is a fantastic stop for anything and everything you could possibly want. From breakfast to souvenirs and everything in between. It's connected to the General Store and that's another great place to visit. Here at the restaurant, the food was really good. Our waiter, the service and the portions, all great! We both had the eggs, hash browns, bacon and toast. Really good, extremely reasonable and we shared buttermilk pancakes, the best we have had. They were slightly crispy and delicious. Parking here was easy, no wait on a Sunday morning and the restaurant was clean and quiet. I highly recommend Ruby's for breakfast before your day at Bryce Canyon or after. Enjoy!

Eh ok place with some basic to low grade food. Expect diner experience with diner quality food. Even foods like chicken fried steak missed the mark. I was able to find a decent meal out of the salad bar but that's about it. The reason I gave it 3 stars is the servers are super nice and helpful. They know the menu well and are super accommodating There aren't many choices while staying in Bryce Canyon so would suggest eating here for speed but don't expect too much.

We arrived about 6 and waited about 20 minutes for a very nice booth. We split a pretty good-sized house salad. It was fine. I had the trout with asparagus and sweet potato fries. Fish (lemon pepper and salt) was tasty and perfectly prepared. Asparagus was also perfectly cooked, still a bit of crunch. The fries were too limp but tasted good. My hubs ordered the ribeye. Looked so juicy and charred but was a bit tough. Flavor was great and it was a gigantic 16-oz. portion. Coffee was tasteless, unfortunately. The absolute highlight of the meal was the pie! The apple pie is the best I have ever eaten. The filling contained nice slices of apples, no mushy stuff here. And the crust was incredibly flaky with a bit of sugar baked on top. My husband ordered the cherry pie à la mode and was quite pleased with the pie and two little scoops of ice cream alongside. Nice staff too! This place is popular for a reason. It HAS to be that incredible pie.

So glad we had dinner early because this place was a bit packed, I believe, due to it being the week of Thanksgiving. Food was good! I enjoyed my elk burger and kinda wish I didn't get bacon since it overpowered the elk a bit. The elk was delicious. I should've just ordered 2 patties. My wife had the rainbow trout. Not the best trout I've had, but it was okay. They were a bit short staffed, hence the crowd waiting in the lobby. So kudos to our waitress, who was the only server on this Monday shift. The bartender also had to do double duty, seating us. Overall, despite the understaffing issue, we had a nice dinner. When's the next time you'd get to eat elk! Our server Hallie (I think) was awesome and literally ran around helping the tables. Also, great selection of beers!!

There's not a lot to do in tiny Bryce Canyon City, Utah. But I think its safe to say that the town's most popular attraction is the dinner show and combo at Ebenezer's. Our experience started off some live pre-dinner entertainment before the dining room was called row-by-row to hit the chow line. Dinners included steak, chicken, salmon, or BBQ (Pulled pork and chicken). After your entrée was plated, you go down the buffet line for beans, mashed potatoes, veggies, cole slaw, and a dessert. I had the BBQ plate of chicken and pulled pork and enjoyed it a lot. Live music was provided by the Bryce Canyon Wranglers that fielded a rotating lineup of keyboards, guitar, bass, male lead vocals, pedal steel guitar, female vocalist, fiddle, and harmonica. These are some serious songwriters and musicians who have collaborated with the Bellamy Brothers, Kacey Musgraves, Willie Nelson, Brad Paisley, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, Maddie and Tae. Some have appeared on Broadway and television. They entertained us with songs by country music royalty! Hank Williams Marty Robbins , Waylon Jennings, Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson, Arlo Guthrie , Glen Campbell , Ronnie Milsap, Johnny cash, Dolly Parton, Kenny Roger's, and George Strait were all represented. It was a night of good clean family entertainment and comfort food.
