Came here because of the good Yelp reviews--big mistake. Our server pushed the two most expensive items on the menu, and somehow they both came out tasting exactly the same. Everything was drowning in tomato sauce, the meat and seafood were overcooked, and the whole dish was way too salty. Zero distinction, zero balance. My son ordered chicken quesadillas... and honestly, look at the photo and judge for yourself. How does a full-service sit-down restaurant mess up something that simple? I've had better quesadillas from food trucks and random street stalls. It was soggy, falling apart, and so unappetizing that even my 13-year-old refused to eat it. As for the adults--we just looked at each other and shook our heads. Also, a note to the server: recommending the most expensive items only works if they're actually good. I ordered the burrito and wow, it was massive, which was great, but unfortunately it was very salty. The waitress was super nice and attentive, and the ambience of the place was pleasant overall. However, what really affected the experience was what seemed to be the owner sitting at a nearby table loudly on his phone the entire time. It was distracting and took away from the otherwise nice atmosphere. As soon as we got up to leave, he immediately walked over to our table for reasons I'm not sure of, which honestly gave the place a bit of a weird vibe. The loud phone conversation was especially annoying and made the experience less enjoyable. Some of the shrimp weren't fully de-veined though. They also have gucamole that they nake in front of you so you can customize it to your preferences. Holy man this is the best Mexican I've ever had and the portions were huge and the price was not expensive I got a meal under the steak with shrimp and Fried Tomato's peppers and onions with a ribeye and it was about 27 dollars and it was huge. Visited Utah for the first time late August. It was Sunday and we were looking for somewhere to have dinner after a long day at Zion. To my surprise a lot of places are Closed Sunday and it was hard to find a spot. After looking on yelp I found this place, it was open and close by so we drove over to give it a try based and the great reviews. When we arrived it was full so we did wait about 35/45 min Which I was ok with because their wasn't many options besides fast food. When we finally got seated they did take what felt like a long time to come take our order. My 4 year old ended up falling asleep. I still ordered him a kids taco order. When they brought out his food i noticed the meat was Raw. I'm so Glad my son did not eat that because that would have been BAD! The whole time we were there our server never came to check in on us . I kept trying to get her attention so she can come over to our table. Besides my Sons taco and bad service I will admit the rest of our food was good. I ordered a wet supper burrito and I will admit it was delicious. My Mom ordered mole Poblano and she said it was 10/10 My husband ordered chicken fajitas and he also said they did have really good flavor. I was supper tired after a long day at Zion and tired of the long wait for food so I didn't even take a picture of our food besides my son's raw food. Overall it the food had great taste but the service was horrible. I do understand it was a very busy place . It was full but better service would have made it a better experience. All 3 meats were overcooked and very dry. Queso was terrible. We had to ask for it to be reheated as it came out cold. Just watery white cheese. Wonderful dinner tonight--we had the TexMex Fajitas--and the Plato Chico. The TexMex Fajitas were a wonderful variety of meats (chicken, pork, steak I believe) and very savory delicious. We ended up at this place because the other places we wanted to go were closed. After eating here, we should have stopped at an AM/PM, gotten a couple of hot dogs and a Coke and called it a day. Instead we paid too much for what I call "resort Mexican": you know, what the Marriott or other chain hotels try to pass off as Mexican food, but isn't. If this fare were served up in any SoCal city, they'd have gone out of business years ago. I could tell what we got, but it doesn't matter because it was so uniformly bad that my buddy left the shredded beef taco untouched on his plate--and that after a long, hard day of riding in the nearby hills. Regarding drinks, the margarita was barely passable. I hate to blast a restaurant like this, but you should really drive on by as you make your way to the AM/PM. read more

I had the birria tacos and they were enjoyable with the shredded beef and dipping sauce. The soup is quite authentic to Mexico and delivers a nice taste. The portions are large. Where to begin? From walking in the door to walking out the door was an entire experience like no other. We were a large group with small children so loud and messy, but the staff did not skip a beat. Fast service, fast food and fast beverage refills. The food was amazing. We all asked each other in our group if there was one thing that they did not like and the answer was unanimously no. It hit the spot on all angles. Came across this restaurant & decided to check it out since it's close to where we are staying. We aren't locals, visiting from Vegas. Little hole in the wall place, & I LOVED it.
