    Massive burritos
    Stephanie D.

I ordered the burrito and wow, it was massive, which was great, but unfortunately it was very salty. The waitress was super nice and attentive, and the ambience of the place was pleasant overall. However, what really affected the experience was what seemed to be the owner sitting at a nearby table loudly on his phone the entire time. It was distracting and took away from the otherwise nice atmosphere. As soon as we got up to leave, he immediately walked over to our table for reasons I'm not sure of, which honestly gave the place a bit of a weird vibe. The loud phone conversation was especially annoying and made the experience less enjoyable. Overall, the staff was friendly and the portions were generous, but the environment could definitely feel more welcoming and professional.

Restaurant is clean and spacious. Food was delivered quickly and was hot and tasty. Bean dip was very good. Service was fast and efficient. Plenty of parking too.

Mexican restaurant with a good variety of dishes. There is complimentary chips and salsa which were great. The platters are delicious and plentiful. We took leftovers to go. Some of the shrimp weren't fully de-veined though. They also have gucamole that they nake in front of you so you can customize it to your preferences. Ours turned out a bit oversalted though.

We found this restaurant accidentally and absolutely loved the food service and prices. Highly recommend for a quick tasty bite.

Holy man this is the best Mexican I've ever had and the portions were huge and the price was not expensive I got a meal under the steak with shrimp and Fried Tomato's peppers and onions with a ribeye and it was about 27 dollars and it was huge. The service is good to and the staff is fast with our food getting it within 15 minutes. The Interior of the place is nicely kept with Mexican decorative and furniture.

This is our third time visiting and I finally remembered to do a review. Every time we go we get something different and all the food has been great! The servers are always pleasant and very helpful with the menu. The restaurant is decorated with a Mexican flair and is clean and very tasteful. The meals are very budget friendly and the servings are very large, this is a must for Mexican if you are in Hurricane1

Visited Utah for the first time late August. It was Sunday and we were looking for somewhere to have dinner after a long day at Zion. To my surprise a lot of places are Closed Sunday and it was hard to find a spot. After looking on yelp I found this place, it was open and close by so we drove over to give it a try based and the great reviews. When we arrived it was full so we did wait about 35/45 min Which I was ok with because their wasn't many options besides fast food. When we finally got seated they did take what felt like a long time to come take our order. My 4 year old ended up falling asleep. I still ordered him a kids taco order. When they brought out his food i noticed the meat was Raw. I'm so Glad my son did not eat that because that would have been BAD! The whole time we were there our server never came to check in on us . I kept trying to get her attention so she can come over to our table. Besides my Sons taco and bad service I will admit the rest of our food was good. I ordered a wet supper burrito and I will admit it was delicious. My Mom ordered mole Poblano and she said it was 10/10 My husband ordered chicken fajitas and he also said they did have really good flavor. I was supper tired after a long day at Zion and tired of the long wait for food so I didn't even take a picture of our food besides my son's raw food. Overall it the food had great taste but the service was horrible. I do understand it was a very busy place . It was full but better service would have made it a better experience. If I ever return to Utah I might return to give it another shot.

8:30 PM on a Sunday night, the place is completely packed, they moved like lightning to get our food and gave us excellent service. The food was delicious. Highly recommended.

I ordered the 3 meat fajitas and was surprised that it was DOUSED in BBQ sauce. I thought maybe it was a BBQ mole? Confirmed with the server it was in fact BBQ sauce. All 3 meats were overcooked and very dry. Queso was terrible. We had to ask for it to be reheated as it came out cold. Just watery white cheese. Unfortunately, nothing is really open past 9pm so we were hoping with a 4 Star average, we got lucky but sad to say, it was a bust.

Service was great. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and helpful. Food was authentic tasting and good. We were so happy to find an authentic Mexican food restaurant. Their menu is abundant and portion size compliments the menu pricing. Both plates Just a tad bit salty, but the good outweighs that one con. It was nice that the complimentary chips come with three different dips. I would definitely recommend.

Simple, solid Mexican food tastes like homemade. Nothing super fancy or elevated, just good food at a decent price.

Wonderful dinner tonight--we had the TexMex Fajitas--and the Plato Chico. The TexMex Fajitas were a wonderful variety of meats (chicken, pork, steak I believe) and very savory delicious. This was our first time eating here--recommended to us by a cousin who ate there. Absolutely fabulous service, and oh my delicious food. We have had Mexican food in many parts of this country and this ranks up there at the very top. The neighboring table ordered a Molcajete De La casa--House Molcajete that looked amazing! We know what to order next time! We'll be back. Que Sabarosa!

Ceviche was great, burritos were huge and delicious. And the Flan had a coconut base and was amazing!

The epitome of "Resort Mexican," what they try to pass off as Mexican at the Marriott and other chain hotels.

Holy cow, we are SO GLAD we did!!! We ordered so much food because as a family we were starving and we also wanted to try everything! The fry their own tortillas for their hardshell tacos. They had 3 hardshell tacos for just $5! What a deal. The Chile Relleno burrito was really good. It's a big burrito stuff with 1 or 2 chile relleno's and rice then grilled. It's soooo good! I really loved the Birria Tacos. It's 2 tacos filled full of barbacoa, onions & cilantro served with a great portion of consommé with a side of rice and homemade refried beans. This might have been my favorite dish that we tried. We also really enjoyed the Chile Verde. It's a large portion of tender flavorful pork, corn tortillas and rice and beans. We thoroughly enjoyed this as well. We ordered a variety of different street tacos with different meats and loved them all. There is even a salsa bar so you can get your own hot sauces they make in house, limes and even pickled jalapeno's and carrots! Everything about this establishment is a win! The staff is friendly, the music playing, the decor was just so authentic. We couldn't have picked a better place for dinner that night. We left extremely full and happy! This place absolutely delivers the elevated dining experience you hope for--amazing ambiance,…read moreoutstanding service, and food that's clearly crafted with care. From the moment we sat down, the atmosphere felt polished yet welcoming, and the staff truly made the experience shine. As someone whose BBQ baseline starts with authentic Texas-style, Memphis , or Carolina barbecue, I naturally came in with high expectations. I ordered the half rack with mac and cheese plus coleslaw. The ribs had solid flavor overall, but there were some inconsistencies throughout the rack--some bites were beautifully fall-off-the-bone tender, others were more competition-style with that ideal slight pull from the bone, while a few sections leaned a bit dry. For my personal preference, the sauce was a little heavy-handed, and next time I'd definitely order it on the side to better appreciate the meat itself. The mac and cheese was clearly homemade, which I appreciated, with that comforting from-scratch taste--but the portion was definitely on the smaller side (I'm okay with the portion size being smaller). The coleslaw was fresh and light, featuring a clean combination of mayo, green and purple cabbage, acidity, and salt, but it felt like it was missing a little extra depth or umami to truly stand out. My wife ordered the chicken cutlet, and she really enjoyed it--it looked fantastic and was clearly a strong choice. Overall, Pig's Ear is an excellent spot with top-tier service, beautiful ambiance, and very good food. My palate has been well-trained over the years, especially with Texas, Memphis, or Carolina BBQ setting my starting point, so I naturally notice finer details. Even so, this was a highly enjoyable experience and absolutely worth visiting. A few small critiques, but still a strong dining destination in Hurricane.
