    House favorites, house seafood specials

Cutely decorated, very clean and fast friendly service! Was seated right away. Given chip n salsa and water. Our drink order was taken right away. Hubs had a tequila n club soda. Can't mess that up. I had the house margarita. It was good but I think it had a little too much of something and I think it was Cointreau. But it was still good n strong. Complementary cups n salsa was good. Chips nice n warm. Salsa nice and spicy, a little on the tomato side. But still had lots of flavor. I ordered the chicken flautas. Chicken not at all dry and very flavorful. Flour tortilla cooked perfectly and not greasy. Came with the right amount of guacamole and sour cream. Rice and beans cooked very good with just the right flavor. Hubs had chili verde platter with beans and corn tortilla. The chili verde was very flavorful and the pork so tender. Beans again cooked perfectly with not too much seasoning. Very happy with everything. When we come back to the area, we will eat here again!!

Let start off by Saying that Every time I travel there's never any good Mexican food but this place Surprised me and that's coming from a Angeleno. First off they have a great theme going not playing your typical La Cucaracha or El Jarabe Tapatio, they actually had los Angeles Azules, Mana, Pedro Infante, and Los Angeles de Charly playing in the background Which tells me the cooks were getting down in the back! The chips and the salsa Are screaming hot which in my Eyes that's a Good thing I don't know why someone else complained. Now the Jamaica and Horchata I will say are pretty close to that of King Taco back home. The food surprised me again and the Tacos and Burrito Mojado were good. I would say maybe the tortillas would need a Little more time on the comal but the asada was Good. If you're from Los Angeles once again the closest thing to this is probably like el Pescador, Luckily it's not one of those places where the food is seasoned with a Ton of Cumin and Corriander but it just needs a Bit of Sazon!

Not bad Mexican and pretty good margaritas. Service is always great and the place seems to be pretty clean. The bar is in its own little room off to the side so it's pretty kid friendly. The chicken flautas are good as are the fajitas. I think they season things lightly but there is salt and pepper at the table, have a margarita and just enjoy the time you have and company you're with. The strawberry margaritas are perfect and can really enhance the dining experience when rotated with tequila shots.

We enjoyed our meal here. Was it extraordinary? Not really, but it was good. The carnitas burrito had a good portion of quality meat and everything seemed fresh. The price was high for these sorts of menu items, that's primarily why I dock 2 stars. When you realize that the rice and beans are very cheap, you're paying around $15 for a burrito. I give one of those stars back because the service was *excellent*! Our server Chris was so attentive, even while being understaffed and having to run the bar and front desk. He gave recommendations, kept our cups full, and was friendly as can be. What we call "above and beyond"!

Service was good and the Ambience was good, the food was the worse I have had at a Mexican restaurant. Generally The chips and salsa will tell you whether the food is going to be good but this was a 50/50 shot. Chips were good, salsa was terrible. It was tomato paste and sauce from a can blended with some seasonings. Terrible! The food was just as bad. Look at My Chile Riano. It was coded in that crappie Jared sauce/tomato paste. There beans and rice were mush and blah. No authentic flavors throughout. Bottom line, their cooks are lazy! I ate the enchiladas so I wouldn't feel robbed. I left them throw away the rest. I truly would have been happier at Taco Bell.

Lord knows Yelp will make me keep this review clean. I cannot tell you how bad the food was. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but I only need 2. It sucks. I've never had carne asada the was whittled down into tic tac sized pieces. It was so salty, my blood pressure rose before we could leave. Margaritas were straight out of the bottle. Save $40 and go to TBell. Stop by the the corner store and get a margarita in a bottle.

I ordered their Enchiladas Tapatías and they're to die for!

I highly recommend this place, it is to die for! Authentic Mexican food with great flavor!

5-Star Review: Spiritual Speakeasy - A Hidden Gem Cocktail Parlor in Downtown St. George…read moreIf you're in St. George and craving a night out that feels worlds away from the typical Utah bar scene, Spiritual Speakeasy (2 W St. George Blvd #5, right at Ancestor Square) is an absolute must. It's not just another spot--it's a true speakeasy-style cocktail lounge with that perfect moody, intimate Prohibition-era vibe. Think dim lighting, plush vintage settees and ornate seating that feels like stepping into a gothic 1800s parlor, gilded mirrors, stone crosses, and an electric yet cozy energy that's ideal for date night, a special occasion, or just unwinding with friends. Spiritual Speakeasy Bar (2026) - All You MUST Know Before You Go (with Reviews) The cocktails here are next-level--award-winning (they've taken Best Bar in Southern Utah multiple times, and it shows). I went with the Smoked Old Fashioned (beautifully balanced, smoky perfection with premium spirits) and the Spicy Dead Lady (a creative, flavorful kick that's become a favorite). They also do standouts like Espresso Martini, Pornstar Martini, Skull Chapel, and Holy Grail, all crafted with top-shelf ingredients including Utah's own High West whiskeys. The bartenders are true mixologists--super knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to chat about the spirits or customize something just for you. Spiritual Speakeasy - St. George, UT | joe coffee It's open daily from 5 PM to 1 AM (or 2 AM some nights), with live DJs on weekends adding to the lively but not overwhelming atmosphere. It's intimate (can feel a bit cozy/crowded when busy), and the music can get loud, but that's part of the electric speakeasy charm. Service is attentive, though it can slow down on peak nights--totally worth it. In a town not exactly known for wild nightlife, this place punches way above its weight. Sophisticated, fun, and unexpectedly upscale. We've already made it our go-to whenever we're in St. George. If you love craft cocktails and a unique vibe, hunt it down--you won't regret it. Highly recommended! (Pro tip: Look for the hidden entrance vibe--they make it feel like a real discovery.)

We were able to be seated without an issue, they just opened around the time we came in. The ambiance was cool & different & the secret door was a cool touch. Drinks were great. Loved the variety they offered. I took a star off because the guy who checked our IDs in the front didn't tell us it was open seating, so we just stood there waiting to be helped not knowing what to do if we can sit anywhere , or needed to wait. The bartender didn't stop to welcome us , or let us know it was open seating. We aren't locals, nor have we been before, so standing there without any direction was kind of not welcoming. Overall, it was a cool vibe, drinks were good, however not sure if I would return when I do come into town.

The service? Spot on. If you're after an intimate, low-key spot with a warm atmosphere and a subtle speakeasy feel, this place delivers. The owners were there in person, took time to connect, and added a level of authenticity that's hard to fake. It's a bit tucked away and not where you'd expect--but that's part of the charm. A good speakeasy should feel like a find. We tried the meatballs with bacon jam, Maryland crab cakes, and the miso salmon--each one well-executed without trying too hard. Dessert was an orange cake that finished things off perfectly. Portions were just right. The cocktails stand out--not just for presentation, but for the clear intention behind them. The hostess seated us promptly (with luggage in tow). The restaurant is pretty spacious, so that worked out just fine. We enjoyed our food (a cobb salad for me and a burger for her). Janessa was our server and she was lovely and attentive. We then made a reservation for a larger group for that Saturday evening and Kyle and Mia helped us out... The reservation needed adjustment last minute due to a change in schedule that day and after multiple phone calls, they were able to accommodate that change. Note: it seems there is not a direct phone number to the restauarant so I had to work with someone in the hotel lobby for this. Interestingly enough, we ended up having dinner here on Friday as well with a large group. Huge thanks to Kyle and staff for working with us that evening... We worked out a large group order to-go but sat down for our drinks. Need to know: Due to Utah Liquor laws, adults who are drinking alcoholic beverages must be seated... that was a new fun fact I learned when making the reservation. On Saturday night, the restaurant had a bit of a condensed menu and they were out of salmon, which was a bit disappointing, but after having 3 meals here, we do recommend the wings, nachos, and burgers. The area in the back of the restaurant with games including ping pong is great for the kids and there is also a grassy area out back too. I specifically mentioned that we were hoping to watch Supercross, and I was assured that wouldn't be a problem. However, when we arrived at our reserved time, we were told they would "look into" changing the channel because they weren't sure they could access Peacock. We decided to stay, ordered drinks and appetizers, and checked in multiple times with our waiter. Each time, we were told they were still working on it. After waiting for over an hour, we were finally told they couldn't put it on after all. The most frustrating part is that we would have completely understood if they had told us upfront. We could have made other plans and gone somewhere that could accommodate our request. Instead, we spent a significant part of the evening waiting and hoping, which took away from what was supposed to be a special birthday celebration. Afterward, I noticed similar feedback from other guests about difficulties getting channels changed, even when it seemed possible. That was disappointing to see and makes it feel like this may be a recurring issue. The service itself was polite, but better communication and follow-through would have made a big difference in our experience.

The food, fish and chips, spicy reuben, chicken sandwich, and bbq wings. Fish and chips, decent enough, nothing to write home about, delicate batter, great flavor. Spicy Reuben...what a trainwreck, the meat was stringy and annoying to eat. The sauerkraut was sweet? Just terrible. The bbq wings were as described, so not bad.
