I recently attended The Rev Tour St. George kick off event at Pecan Valley Resort in Hurricane, Utah. Los Tapatios catered and the lunch was amazing!! Fajitas for two were served without Tortillas and then it took them 7 minutes to bring them. By the time the tortillas arrived the fajitas were no longer hot, and the sides were barely warm. The food was average at best which is on par with the service provided. When we asked to speak with the manager, he made excuses defending themselves by stating they were busy, oddly he never offered to make it right. A small discount would've made things better and likely garnered a second try someday, but they never offered anything. At the end of the day we were ripped off for $43.99 plus tax . We never received any beverage refills the entire time we were there. We have had good experiences at this restaurant. given it high reviews, and planned to come back Sunday evening after checking online to make sure they were open. We got to the door well before posted closing time and were told they were closed although it was apparent that staff was there and there were people in the restaurant. We were told to look at the sign on the door, which said they were closing at 8pm. This is a rude way to find out the margarita and dinner you so looked forward to was not to be. read more

Passing thru St George, I'm reluctant to try Mexican food outside of San Diego or AZ but that's what we wanted & we weren't disappointed. I don't remember our server but he did great! We ordered fajitas they got out of food. They brought the beans and rice said they'd be right back with the tortillas more than five minutes later we still didn't have tortillas. The waiter came by to see if everything was OK. We said we haven't got our tortillas yet and then another couple minutes went by before we finally got the tortillas. Best for the manager, but the serpent manager just argued with us would not recommend it would not go back. read more

This was the BEST Mexican restaurant I have found in St. George! We felt bad coming in an hour before closing, but in our defense, we were going to get burritos to go, simple, right?? Well sort of, we ordered a chicken fajita burrito and an enchilada with beef. We were "ass"uming the chicken burrito was handheld and we would be able to drive and eat as we made our way back down to Las Vegas. Thank goodness we checked and noticed that the burrito was more of a platter, with the rice and beans on the side (again we "ass"umed the rice and beans were 'inside' the burrito lol) and smothered with sauce and cheese. Short story long, this place was legit, everything tasted fresh and delicious, and the server was so nice when he observed us trying to decide how to handle this little snafu! He offered us fresh chips and iced water and viola...we ended up sitting down, relaxing and enjoying our meal at the restaurant. We will definitely return to Los Tapatio Mexican restaurant anytime we are visiting our family and friends in St. George or Enterprise. read more

We are visiting from California and as a tradition, we find Authentic Mexican restaurants when visiting another state and this was our pick in St. George this time. Came here by recommendation of a friend. Glad we did. Mexican food can often not hit the mark the farther you get from México, but that wasn't the case here. We were passing through on our way from CA back to our home in Idaho. We Googled restaurants and Los Tapatios was well reviewed. The restaurant is in a small strip mall. Inside, it is spacious and very colorful in true Mexican style. Our male server did a great job, friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable. We both got the mole enchiladas, rice, and beans. My wife's family is from Mexico City, and she said the mole sauce was authentic. My only complaint is that I would have liked more sauce on the enchiladas. There just wasn't enough to satisfy me. We stopped at Los Tapatios after a day exploring Zion, and I'm so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly server who quickly brought us waters along with chips and salsa. The service was fast, the food came out quickly, and everything was absolutely delicious. This is a great spot for authentic Mexican food--flavorful, fresh, and very affordable for the quality you get. The interior was also nicely decorated, giving the place a warm and inviting vibe. We were visiting National Parks in the region. Found this Mexican restaurant with high ratings. Booked a reservation for our party. We arrived and were seated quickly. Its decorations were very colorful. Even each chair has a unique colorful back board. The waiter came and greeted us to take our drink orders. The models sunrise, piña colada and horchata were all great. The esquite was well prepared and delicious. The dinner for two included good amount of meats and sides. The enchiladas trio were tasted good. For our birthday celebration, a team of five wait staff came out singing and presented the sombrero and the sopapillas! We all had a wonderful party time!
